A friend of Shel's went into labour with her first and he was breech and turned a little bit after contractions started!!
Apparently this is what I did, so my Mum tells me (although I was baby #2).

Matilda had no room to move she waited to long to turn and she had no chance, my belly was very compact and she was snug with enough but minimal fluid.
