We found out at 17 weeks. I asked at our 12 week scan but the sonographer looked at me like I was an idiot and aid it was way too early.
I would say it was your sonographer that was an idiot. as I said earlier, I have read heaps of stuff lately that say the gender can be seen at 12 weeks with pretty high rates of being correct. I haven't time now but I will find it later & post. Im sure it was like 93% right.

We were by dating 12w2d yesterday but our little boy measured 13 wks exact... yep definitely a boy, could see several times throughout the scan and in the 3D mode as well.
Samuel we could tell on his NT scan at 12w5d. Girls I think are harder to detect early on but boys can be clear as!!!!

At our NT scan I thought that maybe I saw a pair of legs opened wide viewed from the bum upwards and clearly saw boy's bits, but then I also thought later on that bub had its legs crossed and the sonographer said they weren't.

We showed our DVD to a group of friends the other night and one of my friends, who's a sonographer, said she thought she could tell what sex bub was, but wouldn't say what she guessed, said the umbilical cord is often mistaken for a willy. I had my dates at 12w on the dot (charting), the bub measured 12w 5d.

We'll ask to find out at the next scan at 18w 3d.

With Ash we found out at 12 week scan and were told it was 90% accurate at that stage, it was a 3d scan which is alot clearer than the 2d ones.

We were told at 14 weeks that Toby was a girl....obviously that was a bit wrong!
