Boys are FANTASTIC! I love my little man.

He's nothing I expected, I'll give him that. He's very tidy (puts his toys away, likes to load the dishwasher and washing machine, helps put the pans away stacked neatly) and HATES mess: I was expecting muddy clothes every day but he won't go near it (his only upset in nursery is when they do messy play and he touches something sticky or messy!). He's also really empathic and if he sees that I'm upset he runs up and gives me a huge hug. He loves his kisses and cuddles.

He's also not exactly behind on his talking, as everyone predicted. He amazes people by playing with a car and saying "brrrm brrrm" as he moves it around. He's very physical and loves exploring, but keeps needing cuddles so he knows he is safe while exploring.

He loves the big kids and keeps pace with his friends who are twice his age, which amazes me, he's very strong (all the little girls have told me how strong he is when he picks heavy stuff up!) and he's still kind and gentle... OK so he has to be reminded sometimes but he can play nicely with little babies, girls and animals most of the time.

I could post even more adoring comments but boys are great. OK, so I only really wanted a boy when I was pregnant so may be a little biased but you really can't love them enough.
