I was surfing around last night and I came across a mention of Tree of Life. Their website doesn't have anything too inspiring but the maternity-wear fashion advice column I read said they had lots of loose floaty Indian-inspired designs. They have stores in most states. (I'm not going to post a link cos I think it's against regulations).
I can't buy the maternity clothes here in Vietnam so I've been looking at styles and taking pictures to the tailor. It has not been such a successful venture. I have three very matronly shirts in the cupboard that I will only wear as a last resort as well as a blue tent that is one of the ugliest things I've ever tried on. But each "experiment" is costing me less than $10 so I can't really complain.
I ordered some hip clothes from Isabella Oliver in the US, got some shirts and pants copied and am waiting to see the results of the dress-copying. The main problem with these designs is that they look fantastic on the pouty pregnant models in the catalogue not so good on a real person. I should have taken more note of the plunging necklines before I ordered. That kind of thing is considered unseemly here!
