    Who just knew?

Who just knew that they were pregnant before they tested- is mother intuition to be trusted or can we invent symptoms that don't exsist?

We weren't going to try this month, we decided to wait until after our holiday in Melb in a few weeks. However, we DTD on O day and even though we used a condom we didnt use one for the 'whole show'.

Now I just feel like I know I am pg, I have had nausea for the last 3 days, had a couple of spews, sore veiny boobs. I am busy telling myself that I am just making it up, how could I possibly be experiencing this symptoms so early on- but there is a little part of my brain that is telling me that I am already pg.

So is there anyone out there who experienced pg symptoms very early on, and just felt like they 'knew' long before they were able to test?

I totally understand what you are saying! Even though we had difficulty getting pregnant and I had NO symptoms yet whatsoever, this time I just "knew" at 10DPO, I was dancing around that night singing a little "Doo Daa" tune to DH "I think I'm pregnant, I think I'm pregnant..." I had never had that feeling before, the other times were surprises, but this time, I knew it right from conception I believe! So I tested the next day at 11DPO and sure enough, a BFP! I also just KNEW that it was a Boy, I don't know why but I always just knew... Mothers Intuition maybe?? Crazy isn't it?!

Good Luck to you! Wishing you all the best for a BFP!!

I think deep down you know, with DD i couldn't remember when last period had been but i was 100% sure i was late, i told DP and he was like no your not don't be silly, we did a test and couldn't see a thing.. 3 days later and i had been DREAMING i was PG and i did another test and now here she is.
I didn't have sore (.)(.) or feel sick i just knew, i was always so hopeless and knowing about my period.

With DD#2 - Due in Jan i started dreaming about it and as my cycles had been irregular since DD1 i had again no idea when i was due.. started not getting any sleep and told DP i really need to do a test before i go NUTS and low and behold another one on the way...
I cried for a bit as it wasn't part of the major plan as DD is only 10mths old now and will only be 15mths when #2 gets here... but it happens.

Sorry for babbling, i just think your body often knows things the brain wont automatically tell you!
Hope all goes well and you find out and put your mind at rest soon.

We werent trying, i had no symptoms and i knew.
I had a dream that DH had got someone pg, woke up cryng.Told Dh and he told me that it was alright, it was just a dream.
On the way to the toilet the penny dropped, i did a test (i was a frequent tester, as i never took any notice of when i was due - came of the pill and periods were eratic, never thought about charting, so tested whenever i thought it had been too long!!! have always been like that)
came back crying... DH said its alright baby, it was just a dream and i replied with NO IT WASNT, that someone was ME !!!!

we'd slipped up one night and DH said to me "I bet you get pregnant off that!" i remember telling him that "no, women try for months and months.. theres no way we'll fall pg off just ONE time" i secretly had every bone and limb crossed in my body coz i wanted to have a baby so much. I remmeber i obsessed all month over it and then decided that "no, i wasnt pg" even tho trhis felt different.
I had a dream one night that i did a pg test and it came back neg, so to stop obsessing over it i went and got a test and sure enough it was neg.. it all felt very de-ja-vu then that night i dreamt i had a pos test so off i went to get a test and sure enough it was pos.. again flt very de-ja-vu lol

*hands up* yes, not with my first pregnancy... but definitely with all my others. Even the miracle ones that involved conceiving a few days before my period was due. Pregnancy tests never really surprised me... well after my first one.

I had strong suspisions that I was pregnant before I tested, but I was scared to let myself get my hopes up too much because we had been TTC for 12 months. For me I had a really metalic taste in my mouth and lots of mouth ulcers at around the time of conception and my cousin suggested that it could be that I have a serge of hormones and I'm pregnant. Then on the day that I tested, I'd caught up with a friend for coffee and was telling her how I was feeling a bit crappy and explaining how I was feeling and she told me I was pregnant and bought me a 3 pack of HPTs. When I got home I tested and within 30seconds the test came up positive...I was 3 weeks pregnant (I tested a few days before AF was due).

I knew the day after I conceived. We had been using OPKs & I remember thinking "Won't need to worry about using them anymore!" I had some early symptoms too like feeling really full & also abit queasy.
Did a test a few days before AF was due & was not surprised at all that it was positive.
    Good luck!!

I knew, but was in a bit of denial. I started getting the sorest (.)(.) at 4DPO (though I thought O was later - wasn't temping, so didn't believe it). DH just knew too - I was more surprised by the double lines than he was, but by 14DPO, I had so many symptoms so I shouldn't have been shocked.

DS1 We were only trying for 3mths so was in shock when it said yes so nope didnt know, Tested 3 days before my AF was Due
DD I knew for 2wks before i gave in and did a test so was 7wks by the timme i tested etc, i think the whole sickness at the same time of day everyday gave it away too lol Tested 3 Days before AF was due
DS2 (the one im baking) i knew i was the day after we DTD, convinced myself i wasnt coz we were going to wait another 6mths before starting to try but i had in my head that i was and it wouldnt get out of my head, so no shock when it cam up pos. everything i did changed knowing i was preg before i tested. i waited 8days after my AF was due before testing (on mothers day lol)

    hi all;
With DD I remember thinking after DTD that I was pregnant; but didnt think anything of it cause we werent even trying at the time. A month went by before I took a test, it was christmas, new year, we had birthdays in between and we both were working heaps, so I wasnt that surprised when AF didnt come. When I finally took a test, it came back with a BFP within seconds and I nearly fainted. After that we had to go out, and whilst out DH says to me, you're glowing; and I figuered it was time to tell him.
Ironically we both think we conceived on the same night!
This time round, I had got AF only once since DD was born, and started to test because I had no idea what was going on with my body. Four tests over a month were neg...
The day after my birthday, i was making DD brekky, and couldnt stand the smell of vegemite, and I had the most horrible hangover, off one drink mind you!!!!
Went down and brought a test and it was BFP.
The funny thing is thatwhen I told DH he said to me that he thinks he knew which time had been the time. Again I had thought the same.
When we finally got our due date off the scan, looking back we had been right!!

yes! we only dtd once during the month as we were both so busy. at 9dpo i was at the shops and saw a pregnancy test on sale and thought "may as well buy it", not thinking that i'd use it that cycle. but that afternoon i thought even though it was probably too early to test that i would. i wasn't a habitual tester or anything like that, it was just an impulse to test. BFP came up faint but straight away. bub #2 is due in april! dh is still in shock that it really can happen from one BD!!

We weren't TTC (I was just back on the pill) and I had a dream where I had a baby a few days before AF was due. I also had a sudden strong aversion to alcohol and told my GF that I thought I might be pg. Waited to test until the day after AF was due and yep, baby on board!

Yep. For our first BFP I knew within days and I was right but I also knew somthing was wrong and sadly we lost that bub at 8 weeks. We tried again the following month but only DTD once in that cycle and again I knew I was preg and I knew i would be AOK - and now Isabella is 9 months old!!

    Good luck!

I had made a request of my body last year to let me know a) when I was ovulating again and b) when I was preggers. With ovulation I had so much libido compared to the previous 2.5 years that I knew it was body communicating with me! Then, what I reckon was implantation, in January I experienced a horrendous day of pelvic pain that was barely walkable. I told DP it must be implantation. Symptoms eventually developed (not nausea this time) and I only went to the doctor for a test so that the doc could officially advise me not to turn out to fire calls anymore...otherwise, I would have kept going So, yep, the EDD the GP gave me was what I had calculated anyway and I knew I was pg, I just needed to hear someone tell me to stop turning out to fire calls.
