You can get the whooping cough immunisation as a combination injection with the ADT (Adult Diptheria and Tetanus) booster, you just need to ask your GP/staff health nurse/whoever does your shots for the one with pertussis in it.

I had the ADTP shot 2 years ago as I was due for my tetanus booster anyway. I believe (but could be wrong) that it's repeated every 10 years, though it can be given prior to that time if you get an injury that could carry a risk of tetanus.

I'm not as up-to-date on immunisation news now I work on a ward (with no kiddies) instead of in emergency (with lots) though, so things could have changed!
