Why is it different on the inside?

This has been bugging me since my pregnancy with DD. Why is gravity different on the inside?

A baby spends a lot of time upside down in the inside, especially at the end. I'd never hold a baby upside down once they're out, so why is it different? DH says it's most likely because of the amniotic fluid and the umbilical cord and I suspect he's right, butwhy? Gravity is still gravity, so why doesn't the blood all go to their head?

Because they're in water

doesn't matter which way is up when you're totally submerged.

See it's been a while since I was upside down in water

But of I was, could I be upside down for ages and not notice the difference?

Yep...The atmospheric pressure is different.

Lol this has bugged me too I even asked the ob but she didn't really say anything I just assumed also that it was also from the fluid otherwise I'm sure we would all be having breech babies

Also another odd pregnancy gravity I find it physically impossible to jump while pregnant at any stage I do it the same but my body doesn't leave the ground
