Geez! isnt it just sooo annoying, I deal with the public health system too and I was having the exact same problems regarding Vaginal birth after ceserean, getting info on all of that, I wasnt even given the option, the OB just said straight off yep! another cesar for you! I didnt know I could try vaginally after a c section until I found belly belly and did research myself, then I had brought the topic up with the OB. Turns out I cant anyhow unless labour happens on its own before Im due and Im 39 weeks preggers now so got c sect booked in for thurs, just gotta hope labour happens b4 hand...

But I certainly do know how you feel and what you mean! I have had soooo many problems with the public system throughout this pregnancy if we could afford private care we would do things that way but we cant. I even rang the hossy when I was 12 weeks preggers to book in my 20 week ante-natal appointment and was told by a midwife to ring back when I was closer to 20 weeks cause she couldnt book me in then, so I rang back when I was 18 weeks preggers, got a different midwife, who said "oh my you shoulda rang weeks ago!" I did not get in until 26 weeks pregnant they were so booked out! hence why I have nothing to show in my share care book, and they never fill my book out even when i throw it straight under their noses, oh and I havnt had my BP checked for weeks either! Its just wrong somethin needs to change!
