I use MD forumlations products, and could throughout my pregnancy as they are safe. They are amazing for adult skin problems (which I also had when coming off the pill). They clean your skin and also assist it to heal itself.
They are expensive products but are totally worth the money. You can get it online. It's MD formulations though, not MD skincare (which is american).

I would steer away from the laser. Therapeutic laser has a systemic effect (ie is absorbed into the whole body not just the area treated) and is contra-indicated in pregnancy. (there are cases in high doses of malformations in the baby)
