I'm always a light bleeder too & yep, it was just the same as my regular period. I fell pregnant approx 2 wks later when I o'd so basically the miscarriage/light period I had was the last bleeding I had until I gave birth. I'm not sure if you have tried it but someone told me to take macca power tablets (apparently it helps women to fall pregnant or something), anyway I took it & that was the month I fell pregnant so maybe give that a try. You can get it from any health food store. It comes in powder or tablets, I took the tablets. After nearly years of trying I was willing to give anything a go, I reckon that's what worked for me.

I just typed a post & lost it so hopefully this one works.

So I should attack DH now??? I was due to be ovulating this weekend. But i don't have any ovulation signs and doesn't your HCG level have to be 0 before you can fall PG again? If I had a positive test on Wednesday, wouldn't i still have HCG in my body? So confusing...

    Hi Tasha

So sorry you're not sure whats going on right now. It must be very confusing.

6 months after I had my DD2 I had a BFP on Friday and then it disappeared 2 days later on my HPT. Then on Monday I had a massive bleed. Lots of clotting and very heavy (which is not normal for me at all). So I assumed I had had m/c.

Two weeks later to my surprise I still felt pg and was getting positives on my HPT's, I went to the OB and my levels were bouncing around for about 2 weeks before I finally had a "period" and was able to start again. They think it was either a stray piece of placenta or an probably ectopic (levles go up, down, up).

I don't think DTD will hurt if you're not bleeding but I needed to wait for my hcg levels to get back down to 0 before my body sorted itself out again. Sorry for the long response, not sure if that helps? Was it Monday you find out if you're levels are doing?

Not a long response at all! Yes I get BT results on Monday. I am now 12 days past the last day of AF (or m/c) and a HPT is still positive, so I'm definitely not at 0 yet. Oh, i hope it doesn't take too long!
If you dont mind me asking, how far along were you?

Tasha I am sorry you don't know what is going on. I hope you find out soon and even better they find a little bubba with a heartbeat. Are you sure of your O date? Just thinking it could still be possible to O almost a week after you last DTD and be 1week less pregnant then you think. I myself fell pregnnant 6days after DTD many years ago so sperm can live a long time in the right environment. Praying that this is the case.

Are you seeing someone you can trust to work out what is going on? I just say this as I had a similar thing happen to me in 2009 which didn't have a nice outcome. I did get a BFP around the time AF was due. I then had my HCG tested as I had had 2 previous m/c's and was worried and the level was a little lower then it should have been. The follow up test showed my HCG had fallen slightly so my Ob said I had m/c. I also had a scan at this time which showed nothing. No signs of a pregnancy. A week later when I should have been 5.5weeks I had bleeding for 8days which was pink and mucosy. There was not the physical pain with this bleeding that there was with my first 2 m/c and definately not the red, clotty stuff. My Ob dismissed my concerns then. I continued to get strong BFP's and eventually 3weeks after I ordered my own testing (working in a hospital I had the ability to do this) my HCG had then gone through the roof and thats when I went to ED and insisted the pregnancy was ectopic. I had surgery that night as my suspicions were right. I was also told one of the signs of ectopics is pink mucousy blood instead of the typical redder loss as well as the HCG levels. I basically had all the signs but my Ob dismissed it which still makes me mad as if he did the correct follow up my tube could have been saved.

Is your HPT a strong BFP or does it look like the HCG is leaving your system? Your right you wont ovulate again until the HCG is less then 5 but I'll still be praying your bub is safe and sound.

Thank you Mildez, we have moved house so I don't have my regular doc anymore, plus she doesn't bulk bill. These new doctors are pretty useless i think. But they are 2 minutes from my house so it makes it easier to squeeze in appointments around work.
I thought ectopic PG were painful? But i will definitely mention it if my levels are going up. I had no symptoms except tender boobs, which are almost gone now. The HPT i did last night was still strong, but maybe slightly lighter. Looking at them now, they all look the same. I have ordered some more from eBay, so I can keep an eye on it. I just want to start bleeding so I can move on! Thanks for your advice, I will look into it.

Most ectopics Tasha are not painful until the tube ruptures (if its tubal) or is about to. I started to get shoulder tip pain just before my surgery that was the worst and I had a funny feeling something wasn't right down there in the lower abdo but it wasn't exactly a pain more of a fullness feeling. The shoulder tip pain was definately the worst.

Hope tomorrow brings you fantastic results.

Gosh that sounds awful. I am sorry to hear, lucky you got on top of it quickly. Funny how you just "know" when something's not right. I hate to put a downer on the thread, but ever since i got the +HPT I knew it wasn't viable. I just had a feeling.
I may be wrong, tomorrow may bring good news. But I have prepared myself anyway. I feel like I am starting mild cramps, but that may be because I want to start bleeding for some closure.
    Thanks for the well wishes

I started to bleed today and had awful cramps this morning. Its not too bad now though. My Hcg was around 500ish and then 680ish, so i was about 4 weeks along i think. So yes it was an early m/c, but I'm ok. Im just grateful that my body actually conceived! After 2 years of nothing, my body is starting to work. I will have another BT when the bleeding stops to check my levels are going down.

Thank you ladies for all your help and support, it means a lot to me Hopefully I will have some good news next month! Wish me luck....
