I think by law they are required to obtain info by the survey thingy. We got one of those to fill out and a congratulatory card.
How nice of your clinic Odette!

I called our clinic to tell them about our +ve HPT, and I got another nurse as ours was away. She told me I needed to go in to the clinic (1000k's away) for a BT and she wasn't going to consider it a +ve until I had a BT!
I got a survey from them about a week or 2 before DS was born, but haven't heard anything else from them.
Sarah, I think that's beautiful that you took Juliette in for a visit I'm going to send a photo to the FS who did our EPU and transfer, when I get around to having some cards done up.

Our clinic called us too Sarah, I think most of them do to follow up for their stats etc?

I got another call from our clinic a couple of days ago, asking if we had a boy or girl? their birthdate, name, weight if we had a c/s or not, and who was our OB.

We got a follow up call when I was about 35 weeks pregnant asking how the pregnancy had gone and how did I feel.

We then got another call shortly after Samuel arrived checking on how the birth had gone and how we both were then.

I suspect that when an OB knows it's an IVF pregnancy they pass information back to the FS - our second call checking on Sam came before his due date so they obviously knew somehow that he had arrived early.

No, we didnt hear anything. I think we had a survey too, but nothing at all otherwise, we might as well have fallen off the planet!

I have been meaning to send my FS a card, but havent gotten around to it yet, and DS is now one! Oops...guess I cant really complain about their lack of follow up can i!

I read a letter our clinic sent to our GP/OB asking to be kept informed. It is standard practice for stats. They didnt contact me again at all.

When DD was 11months we went back to set up a new treatment plan for TTC#2 and took her with us. We had sent a picture to them at around 5months as they had a large photo wall but when we were there we couldnt see it. (and there were some pictures a lot older there so I dont know what happened to ours?) I had sent a christmas card with a photo of her on it and it was in our file but no mention was made when FS moved it to see a note.

After our chem pg the nurse did phone me a week later to ask how I was and did we want to book on for the next frozen cycle. After our -ve cycle there was no contact.

We went back for a new treatment plan a few months ago and only this week I phoned and advised them we will be ceasing all treatment as we have decided to stop. I would be very surprised if I ever hear from them again.
