    Hi Mel,

The method of conception doesn't really have any effect on whether your baby will come early. The pregnancy is usually just like any other pregnancy and the baby is like any other baby. It is all variable.

Twins usually come a bit earlier of course but that is pretty normal for people having twins anyway. =)

    Regards,

    Melbo

Melbo is spot on. Whether or not you conceived via IVF has nothing to do with the time of your baby's eventual arrival, as both Melbo and I can attest to.

Must admit I've never heard that particular myth myself, but can categorically say it's not true.

My IVF Twin boys were born 34wks 5 days 6/7/05 due to the fact that the blood flow in one cord was not good. Both are healthy and came home with me from hospital (6days). Fell pg Naturally in Aug 06 but miscarried end sept 06 (was not even trying) Now 8wks pg again naturally.
