Any May Mummies to be out there? I just had a BFP after successful IVF/ICSI treatment

Still in shock but cannot wait!!

Looking forward to meeting some other May Mummies who have experienced the same!!

That is great news. Was it your first go?
I am due in May as well and we have been doing IVF since June 07 and TTC since Aug 04 so we are really excited.

Yep we were INCREDIBLY lucky as it was our first cycle, we only had 3 eggs and 1 fertilise so we realised our chances weren't great, but our little fighting embryo fought the good fight - stickly little thing!!

Good luck to you too - when do you have your scan?

My first scan is 25/9, I am currently waiting for my second HCG results......very nervous!!
Wow how fantastic that little embryo did so well, it only takes one!
I am so happy for you. When is your scan etc?

Our scans are quite a bit later - we have a scan with our IVF clinic on 22/10 - then they send us off to our OB - I have an appt and scan booked with him on 25/10 so he can start our care

I have to make a GP appt in the next few weeks though to get a referral to the OB as the fertility clinic can only issue a referral valid for 3 months - how stupid is our health system? So when I go to the GP I'll be making sure everything is going as it should be

Nice HCG levels by the way!!
