Yeah, I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason.

I also felt hugely guilty (thinking that if I was pregnant) because DD took so long to get here (just under 6 years) that we really want to enjoy her for a bit before we even think about doing IVF again (which we're not even 100% sure we will).

    AARRHH, parent guilt hey?

I am soooo my own worst enemy!

    Big hugs Sue

You are not a bad person at all! Mothering is sooooooooooo hard, and your DD is only 5 months old. So dont you feel guilty, enjoy every minute with your DD, and when and if the time is right to ttc again, you will know.

I just went through this same thing this week. Not since i was seventeen had i cheered at the appearance of only one line! We are also not keen on doing more IVF (after 7 years of trying ). I also want to enjoy this little one and not confuse things with another child. In fact you put into words my feelings almost exactly! So they are perfectly understandable. My mother's group are starting to talk about trying for number two and it is getting me into quite a state because i am so not ready to think about it let alone plan for it!

Thanks Poppyfairy. It's weird hey? After all these years!

I am also getting the "when are you going to have another?" questions. My bloody mother even asked me that the other day - you'd think she'd know better!!!!

    *sigh*

Although AF has arrived today, and it was weird to actually be glad to see AF!
