    Hi girls

I hope you all had a very happy Xmas with your beautiful little bubba's (especially our first time Xmas babies ie: Charlie, Jagger, Finn and anyone else I missed). Tara got very spoilt and now we have no room left for anymore toys but she absolutely loves her new toys and is playing with all of them.

DH has the next couple of days off work to recover from our busy few days but he is having some time off after Australia Day so we can go away for a few days as a family of 3 before we will become housebound for quite some time...

Anyway, here is the latest pic of my tummy @ 18 weeks if you are interested... I have grown so much in the past 2 weeks that I now look almost full term (I am measuring about 6 weeks ahead so far).. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...1&l=b1a3325213

    Hello ladies!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas with their bubs! We had such an amazing Christmas, it was so special to have Finn with us and at lunch 3 of my cousins had their little boys there so we had 5 boys aged 2 and under, it was great!

Have to confess to being a serious stalker/lurker of late After we got back from Canada Finn was going really well and had even started sleeping right through the night (!!!) and then he had his 4 month needles and we went away again and then we moved and it all went downhill again. So although I had plenty of time to keep up with news via my iPhone (because Finn was back to sleeping in my arms all the time), it was too hard to post.

So a very belated congrats to Kel on finding out about your two boys, how very exciting! Do you have any gut feelings on if they are identical or not?!

And Grub, woo hoo hon, so happy for you! You're much braver than I am, i'm not sure when i'll be ready to consider number two...

Murph, so glad things are going well with Jazzy, how amazing that must be for you and your family.

Marcellus, a big congrats on your little girl! And the 22nd of December is a wonderful date, that's my birthday too!

And a big hello to barney, BOC, Saph and everyone else, hope you're all going along swimmingly.

Well as I said Finn was going well for a bit but then went downhill with all the changes in routine. And again after we moved he seemed to be going okay and then he started teething (he now has his bottom two teeth!) and was really miserable and now his sleeping is worse than ever! He's in our bed more than his own bed and although his day sleeps were in his cot they're often in my arms again. And although sometimes i'm quite happy for him to just sleep in my arms and think he'll move to his bed when he's ready, other times I think it's just not practical for me to sit on the couch for 3-4 hours every day doing nothing while he sleeps. I just spent 40 mins getting him to sleep in his cot so we'll see how long he stays down for...

    Hi everyone,

I haven't go much time before Jazzy wakes up so just a few special hellos and a catch-up.

Huge Congrats to you marcellus...how beautiful a little girl. I'm quite partial and not a bit biased!!! Enjoy these early melting moments of non-stop baby gazing while DS vies for attention

Hiya Kel, whoa you look like you are cooking up another couple of beauties! What a clever baker you are. I feel for you though with such a long way to go you must be sick of the comments about your size. I just hope you are rolling with it and looking after yourself.

Hello to everyone i have to miss today in order to get a few things out.

Wellllllll, guess who has had that magic moment that we have all been dreaming of I took Jazzy back to Melbourne on the 23rd of Dec and we had a FANTASTIC appointment. Not sure if I came back whingeing after my last visit but I was completely bummed at that one. This time, had our wonderful audiologist who we love and just one other person in the room, Jazz was in a great mood, well slept, well fed and performed well in all the tests so they switched her up louder anddddddd, she heard her voice for the first time. Get out the tissues girls, it was one of those moments REALLY. I didn't cry but I do now talking about it. She had one of those reactions, eyes widened, smiled a huge cheeky grin and laughed, then made strange loud unrecognisable voices. Now that was the "switch-on moment" we've all seen before but with one so little you have to be really careful not to upset them or make it a bad experience so they have been so conservative. We said our teary farewells to our wonderful audiologist (who was there for jazzy's first switch-on) and he's happy to hand us over to Adelaide provided I can get an appointment there this week or we may have to go back one more time. Andrew wasn't there so I shook his hand for him as thanks. I think we will do better than that and arrange to send him a VERY nice bottle of something. He is actually the man responsible for stitiching up the whole deal between the states to allow her to have the surgery and be seen in Melbourne. we are welcome back any time as patients so it's the best of both worlds.

    xoxo
