Oops I seem to have an unhappy icon turned on...naaaahhh, not me mate. I'm on top of the world (actually, a bit lower on the map now but who knew Kangaroo Island was such a gem? I'm in love It's so damn beautiful

Oh BTW it's Kingscote Green, but I can't talk to you for too long at the moment Green cos i want to kick your DH's watsit at the moment. I'm sorry, but he's too old to be acting like such a prat and leaving you holding the baby (literally). He shouldn't have gone off without you in the first place and he shouldn't be acting like a cr*p partner like you got your baby and now he's off the hook. Maybe I said too much and not at all helpful but I hate seeing you go through all this alone.

    Hi everyone,

Janie, OMG, I just can't imagine, you are amazing for handling this so well, I would be an absolute mess, I hope she is better soon and you have been able to control her temp etc and praying this is the one and only time it happens.

Murph, you are a legend, what an increadible thing to do, I can't wait to see the pics and hear your funny stories. I am hanging out to go on holidays with our girls, though will likely pick something a little less challenging lol.

BW, I remember clearly yelling at my little brother running naked down the hallway 'nudie in the hallway', what a cute sight to see. Thanks for the info re AF, I am already keeping a close eye on what is going on, and hope I will be one of the lucky ones to get AF back while breastfeeding, crazy as it sounds, still dreaming of a miracle conception next time around.

Marcellus, were you BF? Is that why AF stayed away, just interested. Hope you are well.

BG, Interesting to hear you got AF while BF. Hope E is feeling better.

Green, have you sorted out DSS yet? Good luck for Thur, I hope you can find out what is wrong, I agree, 8 weeks is too long.

Saph, I hope you are getting some sleep.Re AF seems sort of like about half of us have AF back even while BF. If you are not ready yet, I hope she stays away for you.

Kelly, can't wait to see your pics of Tara, and how cute re her wanting to stand.

Smithy, I had a look at your pics of Chayse, what a cutie, and your daughter looks so happy. How lovely that he will have your gorgeous Charlie to play with. Hope you are keeping well.

AFU, still struggling with BF, and still tyring to kick this thrush, which I have had for about 3 weeks now. The girls don't seem to have it in their mouths anymore, but I can feel it in my right nipple and breast after a feed. Also struggling to give the girls enough milk at crazy hour, or should I say crazy 3 hours, and will try a new strategy today, I am going to feed them a bottle at the 4.45pm feed so I know they a super full, and then give them a dummy . I have been trying to avoid it, however a friend has just read the baby wisperer, and she is recommending giving a dummy in case the girls just want to suck, this way they won't be on the breast for an hour at a time, hopefully, and stop using me as a pacifier. Will see how this works.

Good news is they slept pretty much all night. Last feed at 9.30pm and I had to wake them at 5.00am because my breasts were about to explode, I slept with hand towel in my single top to soak up the milk leaking out. I am going to wake myself and express half way though the night tonight, so I don't have to wake the girls, just to see how long they will sleep. Wish me luck.

Hi to anyone I have missed. xx

Oh Marny (smithy), I have tears in my eyes after just checking out your latest. How lovely is your Mr Coops and your gorgeous cuddly bub Charlie. Your daughter (the mummy) is still a child too so you have so many levels to care for. You should be sooooo proud of this lovely lot. I hope you can consider moving if it's an option, or maybe come up with ways to keep Chalie from waking in fright. My sister's kids have to catch the bus with swearing teenagers and it scaes them at 7 and 10 y.o so my sis bought them ipods or something to shut out the verbal pollution. Goodluck xox

    Here 'tis.
Angela Bengsen's Photos - The road trip to K.I | Facebook
I forgot to post the link yesterday for you Smithy. Hope you enjoy our little road trip. some places I never even got to take the camera out, the mosquitoes (from the floods) were so bad I nearly cried...such huge big fat hairy scotch greys and I told Jazzy when we left home there would be no more bities. Wrong!!!! We left Childers like we were leaving the scene of a crime. I had jazzy and the dogs packed and in the car, doing lappies up the road while DH showered and I tried to blow the mossies out. Ha! That was our one luxurious night paying for a dodgy caravan park...20 bucks for the priveledge of 20 million fat hairy mossies. wouldn't you reckon that the management would tell us with a four month old baby, to just keep driving or offer up a cabin. we had no idea until night fall and then got hammered. I packed by 4 am to avoid the mongrel things in the morning but they smelled blood and were right onto us. We got past that situation as we crossed into NSW and then we got hundreds of biting little flies...what the? Sorry, I haven't told anyone about that so I needed to vent Anyhoo, then it got chilly and the biting things left us alone mostly and all is damn near perfect over on the island. Imagine that, I can walk with the pram (not too hot or too many mossies) and I even get to use the pram's foot muff and lots of blankies and beanies. Ahh it's bliss.

Oh Kelly, you cracked me right up with your comment about us all living in the one room...yup!!! We have a huge room though with huge walk in wardrobe and ensuite and the thing you said about hte hallway is so true, only it's more like we have two! I haven't learnt where the lightswitches are and even in daylight we are forever walking the wrong direction from one room to another. It's all a bit odd after an open-plan 1 bedroomer! this place has 4 living spaces alone

Better go and play house cos Jazz spewed up every bit of milk all over my bed this morning and laundry aint gonna do itself.xo

That's it Briggsy the pill isn't great for many people. It makes me mega cranky.

BW i didn't realise you taught teenagers I teach adults much easier. I'm glad your problem student is out of your class, that will make life easier for you. My mum teachers under 13's and she has heaps of problems.

Murph good job on the drive. I agrea re DH just not sure how to handle this long term yet. We're ok with the day to day stuff but it's the future that ****s me, he's still planning on going back to KI next year and I'm staying in Adelaide. Not sure how it'll all work out but really can't think of how to make it work. Got a headache ouch. Oh by the way enjoy Kingscote there is a nice crystal shop near the Queeny (pup) which I used to escape regularly. The LIghthouse cafe does the best coffee and Bella does the best Pizza. p.s. great pics on face book looks like you had a great trip. I loved my 4200km trip from Adelaide to Darwin and back but that was without a baby. Next time Linc is comming

BabyDreamtime thrush on your nipples hurst so so so much and it's a bugga you need to keep treating the girls too. I did that with Linc for ages. great news on the sleep front too lucky you.

Smithy what a huge post well done well done Charlie too what a great effort on letting mummy sleep too.

ATM been a busy day takes so long to get organised and in and out of the car. Linc is good, #2 are happening which is good.

As for DSS he punched the wall and hurt his hand! Dumb ASS. He carried on like a pork chop cried and DH felt sorry for him, I didnt' and he didn't do his jobs which really annoyed me cos I had to do them, being home, Like I have nothing to do

Went to the pead yesterday and Linc's kidneys are fine so that's the end of it, no more hosp. Which is good. I feel much better

Also I got my maternity leave extended till the 1/6 so that's also a load off my mind. My boss was ok about it, but I do wish I cold have a little more time but the $$$ will run out by then.

Ok need to do something about lunch (have some)

    Have a great day all

Well we survived the biggest storm to hit perth in years. Friends of our werent so lucky with ceilings caving in and lights blowing up all the exciting stuff.

I would really like these wonder weeks to be over now, I was up with Xavier every hour last night and he feeds all day long. so far today he has feed at 1am 3.30am 7.30am 10am 12.30pm 3.30pm 5pm and I will feed himagain at arround 9.30pm.

Sorry about the me post but I need some serious help. Campbell who turned 3 in december was toilet trained well and truely before Xavier was born. Some of you will remember my bugger, bugger, bugger toilet story from the preggers forum. Well he has completely reverted back and is weeing and pooing everywhere. I can not get him to use the toilet. Today in the space of half an hour he went 3 times. I just dont know what to do.

Oh and on an up note the midwife finally rang me back today, told me that is was not AF but the oestrogen cream making me bleed as it is a hormone (no S#@t sherlock) but I was not to stop the cream as I need it to help me heal. Well I have to say it has been more irritated since using the cream than it was before. Oh and she said well we will see you next year for your next baby. Sorry not a chance.

Hope everyone is doing well, sorry about the profanities just shows you what kind of day it has been.

Ha, I really haven't got time for this, but thought what the hey, while the leech is feeding. I updated my ticker too, but can't work out how to edit my photos on my new puter so it's a bit of a naff photo Cute smile caught for once.

Hey, I just noticed some of you girlies have been posting comments to me that I never knew were there Sorry, I only operate at the outer realm of computer competence and find most things mysterious and lurking. How did those messages get there??? I ask myself and then feel bad for comments dating back to 2008 Thanks Dusty, Lenny, Smithy, Grub et al. What can I say, but aww shucks. Me and compliments do not get along...bring on the sarcasm . xox
