Ah, the joys of breastfeeding and teething...it's not funny at all, is it!! I nearly threw DS1 on the floor the first time he bit me - i got such a huge fright, and so did he!
Well done on the grant Murph - it's nice to know that sometimes 'the system' gets it right!
Welcome MM. Tell us all your woes...and share the good times too. We love hearing about everyone's little darlings.
Good thing i didn't read about the pizza, Neptune. I'm easily persuaded...all those commercials they have on tv at dinner time are aimed at me!!! I don't even like KFC, but if I see an ad for it, I suddenly want it.
Anyone else live in Melbourne - where did that long lovely summer go? 2 weeks ago we were in sunblock and t-shirts, now it's socks and singlets. Still, it was wonderful while it lasted {wistfully staring out the window as rain pours down the glass}. Boo hoo!

can you believe she is 6 months old today... where does time go. She loved it but she was ready for a sleep 10 minutes into the class which goes for 30 minutes. Everytime we did time for her to lay on her back in the pool, I could feel her relax and the thumb went straight in her mouth for sleep time. Only problem was... and lucky for me DH came today to watch, how am I supposed to get out of a pool (not a toddler pool) with a baby that can't sit up yet?? All the other babies in her class (3) are older and can sit, crawl and walk but Tara can't do any so if DH wasn't there to take her from me at the pool edge I would have been in all sorts of trouble. So after swimming Tara slept for about 1 1/2 hours and is back in bed now for another sleep. I think I might have to have a nap myself as well, trust me you don't need to do water aerobics when you do swimming lessons... running around in circles, lifting and swinging baby, it is a good workout for mummies as well.
MM, welcome hun your more than welcome to join us all we'd be happy to have you, hope your going well.

yay for new avitar Hi linc you're now in the garden with mummy

wind screaming asleep on me then as soon as I put him down AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm wondering if it's the prune juice who knows, I'm going to give it a miss and see how we go, he's still so constipated without it though.
who knows, maybe when he's on real food he'll be better, I rang the parent helpline and they said blah blah blah , tummy rub, deap bath, sugar water OMG like I don't know all of this already and it doesn't help the problem.
