    Lyla is 1!

    Hi girls,

Sorry to being MIA and then storming in here for a very ME post. Lyla is one today! Just thought I announce it here. Both DH and I came and pick her up early from childcare. She had a cake to share with the other kids and then home to open her presents.

I can't express how happy I am that my girl is one and all that she has achieved over the year. DH has just completed putting together a video clip, a collection of special moments over the past year. I can't believe how she had grown and how early her personality showed and progressively strengthened.

Welcome Mift, I am sure that despite sleepless nights you will not trade your LO for anything. Enjoy every moment for 1 year fly by very fast.

Kelly, good luck with your cycle. Guess I will be going alone early next year for #2... lets cross our fingers as I insist and will you to succeed in this cycle!

    Hi to everyone else.

Oh smithy i know what it is like to live in pain. I am still struggling with my pelvis from being pregnant. Am starting a new treatment in a couple of weeks that involves needles into the back of my pelvis. Just looked at you photo we have the same walker. Xavier loves his.

Well we have started X on solids and he is loving it. Started him earlier then Campbell on doctors request. So cant be bothered with the hassle but he cant stay a baby forever so onward we march.

Gotta go busy busy here and Campbell is about to walk inside with his muddy boots on. AARRGGHH

    Hi all,
I just thought I'd pop in and remind you all about the LTTTC Success Stories thread. I'm sure you can all remember a time when you were inspired by reading about the successful LTTTC journeys that other BB members have had.

If you have the chance, and feel other's might benefit from reading your story, please post it here.

    TIA
    Jo

been in hiding - not intentionally, just a lot going on IRL that i'm trying to deal with and can't seem to find time to offer the support i want (so instead of saying hi, i'm withdrawing into myself - probably not the best idea cos i need support myself atm, but it's all i seem capable of doing)

so, HI!!!! i am reading, just not posting. hope everyone is having a good time with their precious/precocious bubbas/toddlers!

Oh man, that just sucks! I wrote a letter here on Friday and for most of it I had two hands free but the phone rang and when I came back it had timed out and I lost it. What's worse is that I really could feel that you needed support right now Briggsysgirl and it was mostly about you, to you and for you. On the back of that, I'm sure the other girls would have all jumped on board to offer you support but when I lost it, I got slack and didn't write another. I put a lot into it and was annoyed I didn't save it like I usually do.

Anyway, I will get back on again soon, but in the mean time, here's that big hug I tried to give you last week BG and I hope things are getting better for you.

Hello to the gorgeous new 1 year olds and to the most recent addition to the 1 year old club, Miss Lyla

    Hi Girls

I'm still here as well, just finding the time or energy ATM is really hard. I forgot how much all the medications take out of you, plus having an active bub to chase around doesn't help but I'm still here as well.

BG: I also am sending you BIG HUGS.... What you are going through at the moment is so much and to have the world on your shoulders is so much to bear, I'm hoping the good weather kicks in soon for you so DH will be able to help on the "financial side of things" and that you will be able to have 5 mins to put your feet up and relax.

Kahlan: Happy Birthday to Lyla, where did the last year go.... and sorry to leave you in the lurch what with jumping the gun for No #2 sooner than expected but I'll be holding your hand when you get back on the horse again.

Well Tara was 9 months old yesterday....... and it is amazing how the littlest things are becoming so much more apparent. Moving around the floor still primarily consists of rolling and if you need to change position then she will do a backwards worm movement on her tummy to get the desired result. She will sometimes push back up onto her hands and knees but then flops back down again, so not a big fan of that one although she is still keen on standing up and then trying to let go and promptly falls down again. AFM, today was my last day of taking clomid and have a scan next Monday to see if we have anything good to report. Although something must be working as I have pimples and am really hot so I think the hormones have kicked in, anyway I'll know more next week. Better be off and have a shower then get missy moo up as well, MG today...

    Hi ladies,

wow, can't believe i'm finally able to post in here, feels like a dream come true!!

My gorgeous little boy, Finn, finally arrived 7 July fashionably late (EDD was 28 June) and just before his scheduled induction! He was 8 pounds 3 ounces and 51cm long and I had a reasonable labour. We've been home now for a couple of days and he so far has been an absolute angel - we have to wake him for most, if not all his feeds, though i'm sure this won't last long...!

Can I ask a question already please?! I've had quite swollen feet and ankles since his birth which the midwives assured me was quite normal. It's okay during the day but come night time when i'm finally resting and putting my feet up they suddenly balloon up and my feet get a bit tingly. Did anyone else experience this? If so, how long did it last? I've been told anywhere from a couple of days to 3+ weeks! Also - did you find anything in particular helped to relieve it? I've got some tight stocking thingys, but was wondering about massage, resting up more, walking more etc...

Anyway ladies, can't wait to read about where you're all up to - seems like years ago I was in the pregnancy after LTTTC thread with some of you, and looking forward to getting to know the rest of you.

    cheers,
    lise xx

Yay for making it over here Lise, and big congrats on the arrival of Finn. As for your question, yep same thing happened for me. 3 days after delivery my feet seemed to explode and did get worse when I put them up to try and get the swelling to go down, I even slept some nights with them raised on a pillow to help relieve some of the pressure. It probably took a good couple of weeks before I could put proper shoes back on ie: not wear slippers all the time.

Just a big yay for Charlie

    Yay for new toofy peg

also to the new girls who I've missed. I'd like to give more time to the forum like the old days, but haha, you'll start off with a sleeping babe who gives you lots of free time and then you will reach the point where lots of us are at, chasing round wee ones and staying on our toes. It's a fantastic time but don't wish the days away, every day improves on the one before and so does the amount of love. Enjoy and huge congrats to you lovely new Mums. xox

Welcome Lise and congrats on the the arrival of your little boy. How is he? Gorgeous I'm sure. And how are you going? Hope the swelling has improved and you're getting lots of rest and help at home.

How can Charlie be that old already and teeth!

Glad she's keeping you busy Murph.
