I'm still here, I just haven't had any time to post of late. Finn has only been having two 30 min naps per day so when he does sleep I have to rush around madly tidying, washing etc before he wakes. And he's teething again so the last few days he's been particularly cranky, poor little thing.
Anyway, hope everyone is well. Will try to post properly tonight if Finn goes to bed at a reasonable hour, though given that he's only just fallen asleep now for his afternoon nap I don't like my chances...
Lise I still dream of a time one day when I will have longer than a snatched half hour to do laundry, tidying and dishes! I also would love to have a bath where i wasn't listening out for when ds realises i am not there and starts getting cranky! Lol! I just tell myself that one day he won't need me and i will wish myself back to these days when i could spend all day cuddling him if i want to. Damn just made myself cry! Lol!
lise and RRH we are at the "helping'' mummy stage. which i think is worse cos the hlep really isn't help lol ie mummy folds the washign into the basket, ashton takes all the washing out, carries it around like a trophy and then puts it all back... obviously unfolded!!! We get the mail together, he won't give me the letters without a tantrum tho and i have to resort to the barter system.... But he really likes to help daddy do anything by standing about 20cm from DHs face or project and watching, pointing, chatting and touching
Oh grub we're at the same stage. I'm quite surprised how well he likes to "help" by holding the vacuum and the dish brush etc. Just working on getting his forward & backward motion going
Oh the irony! DS is asleep, the house is spick and span, and DH dropped my laptop this morning and broke it so I still can't do a long post!!
Grub and BOC, very much looking forward to the time when Finn can push the vacuum cleaner around When I worked in childcare the babies loved to help wash windows, vacuum etc. I'm all for child labour

I'm around - reading a lot, but gee, getting 5 mins to post is nearly impossible. DS2 is 13.5 months and never crawls anymore. Just walking everywhere. It's awesome, but even easier for DS1 to knock him over. AArgh. They want all the same toys (wheels or rails) and they are happiest outside. So, that's ok with me, I get a bit of pottering around done while they throw sand at each other.
Actually, DS1 can be quite a handful, but also he surprises me in a good way too. Today he unloaded the entire grocery trolley into the belt for me. And then when we got home he unloaded the clean dishes from the dishwasher (the bottom rack). It's nerve wracking watching all the plates in his hands, but he's not dropped one yet, and he loves to be a big boy and help. I can't believe I've been a mum for nearly 3 years!
We are off for almost 3 weeks to NZ to visit all the family (yes, can't you hear my kiwi accent?!). It'll be good, but soooo much driving. All 4 of my DSs great grandmothers are still alive, so it's a honour really to be able to show them my little terrors...I mean darlings.

BOC I hear you about the babies getting bigger, I look at little Linc all the time and think OMG you're such a little man now.
As for me, what a bad BB member I am. been busy and haven't been around much. Moved jobs again, cant seem to find the right fit for me. Balance is hard to find when you're a mum. Going to dip my toes into night shift and see what happens. Oh DF has gone from "no babies" to if we win $1Million.... so I figure there is now room to negotiate..

Murph, Jazzy sounds just awesome and you sound really happy also. Don't worry about the walking thing. I didn't walk until I was close to 20 months old and I ended up being a professional dancer, so it didn't hold me back later on. She will get there when she is ready.
Grub glad to hear that you are slowly getting better. Being pregnant and sick sucks as you can't take any of the good stuff!
I hope everyone else is okay, I will try and be better and catch up on where everyone is at.
Afm well my little Jazzy is about to turn 2 on Saturday next week (2 April). I really don't know where the time has gone. She is saying 4-5 word sentences, can jump (sometimes will do this from the moment she gets up until she goes to bed), sings songs, dances like nobody is watching and generally lights up my life every single day. Even the not so great things bring a smile to my face as it shows she is growing up and developing her independence. Such as all the "go away mummy"'s that I get each day. And the "you're naughty mummy"'s are a crack up!
Janie: WOW time has sure flown by. How can 2 years have passed since Jasmine entered your world and changed it for the better. Gotta love the independence of little girls though.
Murph: Good to to hear your move went well and I am waiting for winter so you can post a pic of Jazzy in the snow. I'm so excited to hear how her speech has come along, you have one very clever little girl there and the walking will happen when it happens. All I wanted was for Tara to walk but walking turns into running and geez they can be quick...lol
Green: Good to hear from you and Linc certainly has grown, he looks very cheeky in his photo and good luck on persuading DF to try for another.
Hi to all our other mummies, I am around all the time but finding time and/or energy to post is getting very hard..
Thanks for asking about my growing belly, luckily for us the boys are still tucked up tight and I just need to get passed next week to be able to deliver and stay in Ballarat and based on my size, the size of the babies and my level of discomfort we are thinking they will be here by 36 weeks at the latest.
We are having major teething with Tara at the moment, in the past 2 weeks we have had 2 lower eye teeth come through and now we are waiting for the final lower molar to make a break for it and then all that is left are the top 2 eye teeth. With any luck these will come through before the boys arrive so that hopefully we don't have any teething issues from her until the 2 yr molars stike and that will probably occur just when the boys will start teething. Apart from that I'm very tired, uncomfortable and just over carrying this extra weight around but I just have to talk myself through each day and before we know it our family will have gone from 3 to 5.......
janie!!! Green!! murph!!! all in one day!!! we are spoilt
and of course our lovely mummy Kelly - mum of 3 under 2 - so perhaps super mummy would be more apt!!!
It was so good to hear from you green! by your statement about your DF seeming more flexible regarding kids, does that mean you are going to try again soon? if so do you have fet? etc. of course you don't have to answer, i was just curious that's all. I hope you find some work that suits your life atm! It's so hard eh! I'd be in the job market now if i wasn't up the duff again already lol. We moved interstate and the only reason we used our frozen embryo was cos of that... we wanted to make a clean break and with only have 2 frosties just kinda thought "it probably won't work''... HA! First one took!!! I mean after years of IVF and tyring for DS, our first one took!! so i'll have 2 under 2... and probably love every crazy moment!
janie - i also couldn't believe Jazzy would be 2 soon! that's so amazing!!! Now what do you do to make that poor little toddler tell you that you are such a naughty mummy lol. Must be awfully bad me thinks!

Who would have thought parenting could take up so much of my time.
Well life is pretty amazing Lincoln is so active and such a chatter box. DF is really calm and in a good place which brings me back to BB with some very exciting news. DF out of the blue after me dropping the subject has agread to us using our Frosties. so excited. Not really wanting to breath a word of this to anyone around at the moment, due to never really knowing how things will go. But I'm just over the moon.
Look forward to sharing with you guys and hearing what you've all been up to.

hi guys. yeah looks like we've all been busy .
we have just got our 4th tooth .....boy i hate teething !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had forgotten how bad it is, we have got one of those amber teething necklaces which does help his dribbling and during the day, but he doesnt wear it of a night and we have been waking 5 times a night ....
which may not seem so bad but he had only been waking once or sometimes sleeping thru ?!
bubs getting cranky with me now !...so gotta go fix him... some BF will put him to sleep ...lol
Hi girls, I haven't been on here for ages, but wanted to announce the arrival of our beautiful girl K.eira K.aur on 10 October at 3.230kgs by CS.
We are totally in love although the last few weeks have been difficult. I ended up back in hospital with my wound getting infected, boy did I feel terrible! Spend another 3 days in there on IV ABs with my wound reopening slightly to get rid of all the gunk, yuck! Anyhow I am feeling on top of the world now. Then bubs had failed the newborn hearing screen whilst in hospital twice. So the day after I got out of hospital the second time we went to get tested by an audiologist at Uni of Melbourne. We were convinced that all would be okay, but unfortunately our gorgeous girl is profoundly deaf in her left ear. Thankfully she has perfect hearing in her right ear. So we have been coming to terms with that also.
Everything happens for a reason and our DD is just a little ray of sunshine, we really are truly blessed to have here in our life's.
