    Hello again,
just wanted to make sure you all see yourself on the first page. If I have missed anyone, as Dusty said, please PM Dusty or me to let us know. Also if you have more details to add or want to be removed, let us know as we don't want to cause offence.

Welcome to the new girls who I have missed and I hope to catch up with you over the next few weeks. Congratulation Misty77 and enjoy your blissful first days of realising you have arrived.

Thanks girls for your amazing support. I look forward to giving some of it back now as we all go through this together. xox

    Wink Happy days

    Hi all!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. It's so weird to be here. I'm hoping I can calm down soon and stop worrying about every twinge. Perhaps I may eventually stop feeling the need to POAS every day to make sure I'm still pregnant! '

I figured out my EDDis 10 Feb 2010 - yay!

I'm looking forward to following everyones progress and hearing all the pregnancy stories.

Also, could you add my due date to the edd list, 21/01/2010...

    Thankyou,

    Hi Ella's Mum,
thanks for your thoughts. I think it was the hardest time of my life (and it's not as if I haven't had my share of challenges). It was just that the only thing I thought i had to look forward to was the best case scenario that our baby had mild DS and the worst that it could be have severe abnormalities. The relief is just indescribable and the joy is double that again although the weepiness is more upon me now than when I was going through it. Hormones and stress I guess.

I have added your EDD. Congrats to you too

    Hi Everyone

Firstly, want to say a big YAY to Murph on your fantastic results. I don't blame you for being frustrated with the specialist, how inconsiderate... And a little girl as well, at least we will be adding some pink to this very blue thread at the moment.

To our lovely ladies carrying twins... I don't know how you do it, you so deserve the biggest . Our little one has been having a growth spurt over the weekend and my sides feel so stretched out and considering I had a very small tummy a couple of weeks ago, I now feel huge (and feel the need to hold underneath whenever I'm walking). Someone even commented to me on the weekend (a stranger) that I had a bit a a waddle going on. OMG, how am I going to be in another 20 weeks time........

I have always said I think she will be a big baby, but I hope not too big that I'll be massive. We have decided that we are going to start taking photo's of my growing tummy now to see just I big I will get.

Anyway, better get to the washing... After being away for 4 days I have so much to do (although this will be nothing compared to when there are 3 people in the house).

    Hi ladies

Welcome to all the new mummies-to-be! Congratulations! Wishing you long, happy and healthy pregnancies.

Azzrenae - thinking of you. Please let us know the results. I hope you're doing ok.

AFM, well, same old really. I'm even boring myself at the moment! My back is still so sore, so I'm not doing much at all. But I've been thinking of you all and thought I'd race on to catch up and say hi. I think that as soon as I can get some proper sleep things will look up. At the moment the pain wakes me up so I'm pretty useless all round.

The boys are really kicking now! It's the coolest thing. I have found myself just staring down at my tummy waiting for the next one. My skin actually moves!

And yesterday I wrote a letter to them. I thought I would probably keep a preg diary that they could eventually read, but it's been such a tumultuous journey that I'm not sure I want them to see all that. So I wrote them a letter instead, and it felt lovely. I already love them so much

Anyhow, thanks ladies for the thoughts and the giggles. I hope to be back properly soon.

Just jumping on the neew thread and sending you all lots of

Big special mention to Smithy....it is GREAT to see you on this thread

Baby Aaron is doing well can't believe he is 3 weeks and 1 day already.
Life is crazy but am finally finding the house again.
Best advise I can give you ladies, is get as much sleep in while you can.....I honstly can say 3 hour blocks are not the best but the joy of waking up to a beautiful baby makes up for any lack of sleep or a messy house

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!

CONGRATS LNB! Your birth story brought a HUGE smile to my face, how wonderful. Glad Nate arrived safely May he bring you lots of joy and happiness.

Saph - hope your OB appointment goes well this arvo. Nothing to be worried about. I LOVE mine, he is great and very easy going

Theresep - Hi and Welcome The first trimester is a very stressful time and you are forever looking for pg "signs" Once you have that 1st scan and see the amazing heartbeat, it will give you some relief. I didnt have many signs and was lucky enough to not suffer from m/s. Smells were VERY offputting for me! And I was hungry all the time, lol Feel free to ask as many questions as you like as there are lots of GREAT girls in here who can help you.

Grub - I have been getting the same period like pain down below as well. I asked my OB about it yesterday and he said it was normal with everything stretching inside. It was a bit concerning. Your 20 wk scan isnt too far away now, how exciting!!!!

AFM, saw my OB yesterday and he was happy with my scan results from last week. It looks like he is going to stick with the original delivery date of 4 November which is only 16 weeks away today, how scary and exciting!!! He will see how things progress between now and then. Hopefully I dont develop diabetes and my blood pressure doesnt get any higher. Its ok for the moment but since Im overweight, the extra pressure isnt helping. My ears have been blocked since the beginning of the week and after trying drops and ear candles, went to the doctor today to find out I have an ear infection..oops! He has given me antibiotics so hopefully it will start clearing up soon and I can hear properly again.

Oh Greenslw I totally sympathise with you. Being pg is supposed to be a HAPPY and EXCITING time, not a time to stress about money but all of us have the same issues. I too am stressing as my DP just found out recently (after a DNA test) that he has another child. As you can imagine I was both angry, shocked and upset when I found out as it was something that should have been sorted out a long time ago, not when we were going through IVF. He was never sure if the child was his and the mother named someone else on the birth certificate so he never pursued it and its come back to bite him 15 yrs later. Anyway, his wage is now DRASTICALLY reduced and I earn $200 more than him a WEEK so thats a huge difference. We are now comtemplating me going straight back to work after I have used up my long service leave and him taking paternity leave. Its a heartbreaking decision to make me being away from the baby, especially after all that Ive been through to get here but we may not have much choice.

I can only imagine how hard it would be for you with your DP being on the road or in the mines and you having to do everything yourself. Take care and Im thinking of you.
