    Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a relaxing weekend.

Murph: Wow how big is our list getting. Scary to see my name move up though....

Theresep: Hope that the spotting is nothing sinister and that you get to your scan with no more worries.

Greenslw: Hope you are feeling a bit better and that your hormaones have goven you a break for the past couple of days.

Kaydee: You are so good having all your names picked out. We where really struggling with boys names (before we found out the sex) and have about 12 girls names on a list to try and choose from. We have also decided to use a family name as a second name, my mum & grandmother have the same name "Rose" so now just narrowing down her first name although I do have my favourites, just need to convince DH.

AFM: Nothing much to report here, had some more stretching pains on the weekend and still getting kicks and squirming movements. I'm thinking it won't be long until she starts to run out of room though. All booked in for our baby classes, we have chosen to do them over 2 weekends in August instead of 1 night a week for 8 weeks which is just too long, plus don't really like driving at night. 4D scan booked for tomorrow at 12.15pm, so am looking forward to getting a good look at baby and then no more until she arrives.

Sending big belly rubs to all our other girls on our long growing list.

    Hi lovely ladies,

Looking over the EDD I am so excited to be on it, thanks for updating Murph, my EDD is 24.02.09, and can you please add expecting #1 & #2, I have already picked names, am being optimistic and asking God for pink and blue (but won't be disappointed with whatever we get). DH is Greek, the first born son is normally named after the grandfather (DH's father), so if it is a boy it will be Stelios, for a girl we have picked Aria, if it is two of the same we will have to come up with some more names lol.

I have sort of been lying low in this thread since my first post, I must admit I was feeling a bit out of sorts about some of the comments that have been made on BB about ending up with one or two bubs, I sort of felt they were directed at me as they appeared immediately after my first post in the PALTTTC thread announcing twins, and I spent a few nights lying awake thinking about this. As strange as it sounds I was starting to feel almost guilty, which is crazy, and DH has convinced me that I should just feel so thankful and lucky that we have been so blessed. And I felt a bit sad that I had gone out of my way to support, encourage and congratulate others on their BFP, but didn't get the same courtesy in return. I don't mean this to be confrontational but just needed to get this off my chest, as it was really weighing on my mind, and I have been almost too shy to come back in here. In saying that there are so many of you who have offered nothing but support and I am really thankful for that.

KellyD, gosh 26 weeks already, I love the name Rose, and it fits perfectly as a second name to so many others, good luck picking from your 12 names.

Saph, glad to hear you are well but sorry about the MS, I am feeling a bit the same, pretty much 24 hrs nausea but no vomiting yet, I must admit I am hanging out for the 12 week mark hoping that the MS will die down then, I have tried MS tablets with ginger 3 x per day, ginger beer, I am wearing the acupressure wrist bands for nausea, trying to eat frequently, but the endless upset tummy is a real pain. Have fun with your new course.

Kaydee, wow 35 weeks, that is a great achievement, not long to go now. My SIL delivered triplets last week at 35 weeks, and they are perfect and strong and a great size, breathing on their own etc. She did have some problems with high BP though, and they had to perform the C section earlier, I hope you are taking care.

Jenc, congrats on third trimester, GL with your OB appointment today, look forward to hearing how it goes.

Smithy my love, so sorry to hear about the MS but I am with you on just feeling so happy to be here. Go baby Charlee, and yay for double digits!

Hi Murph, glad to see you are tracking along nicely, hope Jazzy is well, are you feeling any more kicks or is she being kind to you? And I hope DH gets his chance to feel the action soon.

Theresep, welcome, sorry to hear you have been having some bleeding, I can imagine how scary that can be, but as everyone has said it is quite common, do you have plenty of progesterone support? Is your 6 week scan this week? All the best, I hope it puts you mind at ease. Sending you lots and lots of positive vibes.

Greenslw, congrats on 13 weeks, I hope you are feeling nice and relaxed and you haven't had any more spotting. It must be such a relief to get to this stage, it seems so far away for me. When my SIL's was married the first time, she had 450 at her wedding, it must be a Greek thing. Not long until you tell your news, very exciting.

Wavegirl, looks there will be a few Feb bubs I am a few days behind you, sorry to hear you are having MS, I know the feeling. Wonderful news that bubs is well and hope time flies until your 12 week scan, I am counting down the days too.

Grub, my brother is in defence also, him and my SIL and niece and nephew are in Darwin, my brother is training to fly the new Tiger helicopters. I know it is a while to go, but I would love to PM you my SIL's details, she is lovely, when you get to Darwin she could meet up with you and introduce you around also and it might be nice to know a friendly face. Let me know if you want her details, are you on Facebook? Perhaps you could touch base there?

Azzrenae, thinking of you and GL with your weekly scans. Great news re getting bargain capsules, that is a great idea. Hoping time flies until your next milestone of 25 weeks.

Kahlan, the biggest congrats on the birth of Lyla, what a beautiful name, glad to hear your birth went well!

LNB, congratulations to you too, Nate is a gorgeous name. So glad you had a great birth experience, makes me excited for my own. Wishing you all the best for the next stage.

MissMagpie, so sorry to hear of the difficulties you have been having, I can't imagine, what a shock that must have been, and double hard with the pressure on finances. I hope you can work something out, I know how hard it must be to contemplate going back to work right away. My DH have been out of work for the past 6 months, and there looks to be minimal opportunities for the future, so I might be doing the same too. Thinking of you, I hope you are getting through this ok.

MHB, 4 weeks full time work at 33 weeks, I hope you will be ok with that, I guess it is good to get it over with but make sure you take care of yourself. I really admire you for sticking with your studies whilst being UTD, it will all be worth it in the end.

TwoMums, congrats to you and Kim on your 19 week scan, and to your little boy, sounds lovely, glad to hear all is going well.

Hi to everyone else, sorry for the super long post, just trying to catch up. xx

BDT: Your post made me feel so sad for you with the "Negative Comments" about your pregnancy. After all that you have been though, you need support to help you now through the trying time that pregnancy can be and I for one am so happy to see you here and with your two much longed for bundles of love. I have my fingers crossed for you that you have one of both on board - although based on the track record recently you could have two blue bundles - although I know that whatever you get, they will be much loved and cherished.

kaydee I have my next on wednesday its going to be a growth scan so can't wait to see the difference between the 2 hopefully its not a big difference. We have chosen our boys names I did found it harder chosing boys names then the girls names. Everyone kept putting their 5 cent in my brothers are the worst obviously wanting their names somewhere in there I to am going private I don't have to pay for the doppler and fluid check up scans but the bigger scans like the 12th and 20th weeks I had to I problerly have to pay for the growth scans as well but thank goddness for medicare getting 80% back has saved us abit. Have you joined MBA? Oh not feeling comphy sitting and sleeping but you are right a nice warm bath is great at the end of the day when DD has gone to bed aaaaahhhhh

Murph thanks for undating the EDD it makes so real to see it the list is getting longer.

BDT Sorry you felt like that I can imagine you lying there thinking about it I was always hung for your posts to see how you are couping with your little bundles your DH is right it is a double blessing to have 2 on board. If you want to get anything off your chest this is a great place to start. Yep I am happy about the bargin I got with the capsules I am on the look out for more bargins now Im always scouring around ebay hoping missmagpie hasn't been me to anything when is yor next scan? I love those names your DH grandadfather has a great name I agree with KellyD its pretty blue in here.

Saph sorry about the MS fingers crossed it wont last for long

Hi girls - just wanted to introduce myself - have been on the assisted with clomid site for a while.

Well I have received a BFP finally. I am still in shock I think I was concentrating so much on the getting a BFP, I didn't think what would happen after I did. Anyway, still early stages, so will get more confident as I go along.

    Hello Baby Dreamtime,
so sorry we almost lost you through what I think is a bit of a misunderstanding honey. In trying to understand where you may have felt upset I thought maybe it seemed rude to be asked if you had one or two embryos transferred. Firstly I don't think that anyone who is in this forum wishes anything but the very vest for every one of us that has made it here (or is yet to make it)and whether we have one sticky bub or two, we are supremely happy that we have a pregnancy. I think we ask about whether you had two transferred so we know about your individual case. Many of us (including me) had two transferred and I don't feel anything but complete happiness that out of two embies, I got a beautiful baby girl. It's wonderful and exciting hearing about everyone's blessings, be it one or two, so please don't mistake our questions as meaning to insult. I don't think I asked you, but may have asked azz or other girls the two or one emby transfer question because I'm such a dope I'm still learning about what it takes to have identical twins and that one embryo splits. I think we just ask in order to see if your one emby split and will possibly be identical or whether your two came from two. Whatever you do, I have yet to come across a negatively conceived comment since being on this forum and find it the best bunch of caring girls so please stick with us even if we somehow offend you. Email is not always the clearest form of communication, and I often feel that I have been too blunt or left someone important out but we try and I know that there are days when we can't concentrate on our own lives for worrying about one of our BB mates is going through. It is sad that you have felt hurt, but good on you for confronting it. I hope we only move forward and you feel welcome to talk any time.

P.S I will update your details with your two little blessings Sorry I think I made a cutting and pasting error and put you down as only one.

Hear hear! BDT, you are perfectly entitled to feel blessed. This LTTC business is a sticky tricky road and everyone reacts differently. I'm glad you could tell us all how you've been feeling too - that's what this support thing is all about

And the names you have chosen are lovely lovely!

AFM, well had ob appt today and I am measuring 32 weeks, which is what is to be expected at this stage of twin preg. So everything is perfectly on track. Next time some annoying biddy stops me in the shops to ask sweetly about my baby only to turn into "lecture her on eating because she's obviously starving her unborn babies" when she finds out it's two, I give myself permission to just walk away!!

Hope all you lovely ladies are doing well - sorry I can't do personals now - I'm so tired and I think my brain has exploded for the day.

Murph Thank you for your kind words BB has been such a help to me although being a Social Worker I'd still rather you all in my kitchen for a cuppa than on the PC but PC is better than not at all. Hope you're feeling better, enjoy your nappying. Oh my Nightclubbing would be hard work. I had a big giggle at woolies, my mental Health nurse friend says the same thing when she has enough of her job.

Theresep, I've still got my fingers crossed for you How's things today?

Hi Smithy wow week 10+ already

Jenc how did the ob app go?

Kaydee Millie isn't too bad but Gurtie isn't happening can't believe what makes the top 100. Goodluck for Wed.

Oh Kelly how did 4D go, I think they are amazing.

Baby Dreamtine, I really like your names and it's so nice that they mean something too you as well. Hope you are feeling welcome now

    Azzrenae goodluck for wednesday

    Welcome 31Becc Congratualtions

Saph oh it may be time for comphy pants. My jeans have bean shelved since week 1

    Welcome babydreams congrats

    Welcome sammiejam Congrats

ATM I chickened out, I didn't tell my boss. She was very over the top emotional with some other work stuff so I kept quiet I'm so sick of staying quiet. I've made an app with the exec manager to have a chat next Thursday she's less emotional and I think this may be the easier way around it. Then she can help me tell my boss. Yep I'm a chicken!

sammiejam, bec and babydreams! big congrats girls. and now a whole new set of worries and stresses begin but my best advice to you is to enjoy this moment and what you've achieved. this is a time for happiness and cautious optimism take care of yourselves. As for levels, one of the other ladies with twins may be able to help you. but i do know that they are supposed to double every few days for the first 10 or 12 weeks (i think).

    just a few persies....

jenC - you walk away girlfriend. i'd say run but that would probably look a bit funny lol. i've got rather a big mouth on me and quite often my foot is in it, so I can just imagine what a tired, uncomfortable, cranky Grub will say to that sort of thing. hmmmm. oh you are on the home run! lucky bugger lol.

hi saph- i was in maternity clothes by 11weeks and this is my first! apparently with number 2 you show earlier. so buy up lol. big dub in our town had a sale recently so i got a heap of shirts for $10 each

hi kaydee - i hope it all goes well tomorrow and of course Friday! really really hope you don't hav PreEc

i gotta go to work but wanted to say BDT welcome back! sorry you were upset at some comments. I'm not really sure what you are referring to exactly but i'm sorry you felt targetted. I must admit i was surprised to read your post cos i've always found this thread so positive and that's why i keep coming back (even dropped my due date thread in favour of this one).

But i'm so glad you let us know and told us... i think alot can get lost in translation in posting.

anyhoo, thanks for the info on your SIL. We won't be moving for 18mths so i might grab that email off you a bit closer to our leave date it's so lovely of you to offer. i'm from FNQ so i'm really looking forward to heading back to Normal Australia, oh sorry northern australia lol. you know, where there is such a thing as humidity and cheerios are small sausages not a cereal - but that's a whole other thread.

afm on the countdown to thursday's 20week scan... pink? blue? i'm really sorry to say this but i have an inkling it may be blue... BUT i reserve the right to be wrong! lol.

    oxoxo
gotta go to workk... eeeke late

Welcome Sammiejam and Babydreams Congratulations and best wishes for your pregnancies.

Sammiejam, my hcg level was 271, 2 weeks after transfer. Are you booked in for an early scan?

Jen, so glad your appt went well. Awesome news your boys are measuring on track. It will help ease your mind and give you confidence when dealing with opinionated people when out and about.

Grub, thanks for the good wishes. Your blue inkling would certainly add to the blue flavour around here at the moment!

Greenslw, it's hard to find the right moment to tell your boss. Hopefully by talking to your exec manager 1st it will make the big boss a bit easier for you. Saftey in numbers, I say!

wonderful news Farmgirl, hope you rest up and share soon.

Just a quick question ladies that are a bit further along than me. Did you tummy feel sore around 15 weeks. it's not cramps it's just uncomfortable, couldn't sleep on it last night and now I don't want anything on it at all. But am keeping cloths on as I'm at work, but the seatbelt on the way it was almost too much. It's around my pelvice more.

When baby attached i felt like fingers were poking me in the belly now it feels like an elbow. I've also been getting butterflies. and last night a diffinate set of four pokes in the same spot.

I'm hoping this is just my body making room, I'd be thrilled if the pokes were bubs but not holding my breath yet. I dont' have an OB app for 3 weeks and after last time I phoned and got the 'wait and see' re bleeding I'm not keen to phone with odd pokes. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Cautiously Dipping My Toes in the Pg Pool...

    Hi Girls,

I recognise a few names in here from the AC/2WW threads back in April/May, so great to see so many success stories! To those I don't know, Hi!!! I look forward to following all your journeys and learning lots from you all! I am so clueless!

Just had my BT today and it came back with a big fat !!! I am over the moon! DH is stoked but is also in a little shock. We're trying not to get too excited just yet as we know we still have a long way to go. Anyway it's great to have someplace to share as we've told immediate family but will wait til we are "safe" before we share with everyone else. It's so hard cause I wanna shout it from the rooftops! Either way I just hope our little cookie decides he/she likes us enough to stick around this time!

Anyway hope you all have a totally awesome weekend, I know I will! Look forward to more chats & personals soon! to anybody who may be ready to "POP" this weekend :-)

    Good afternoon girls

Frostysmum - glad your scan went well. Its such a relief to hear all is fine I think a few of us have been having bizarre dreams!

Neptune - Congrats on 30 weeks On the home straight now!

Grub - hope your feeling better.

JenC- hope your little ones are staying put. Take care and thinking of you

Bella - finishing work early sounds like a good plan. Your little ones come first. How exciting setting up the nursery. Enjoy!

Kelly - I too have been really tired of late. As for belly buttons, I dont have one They sliced through mine last year during my op so it no longer exists so my belly isnt properly "round" due to the scarring tissue. Hope your coping with the heartburn!

Murph - I couldnt imagine being away from family and friends. How nice to have your niece and brother coming to Townsville in the next few weeks

Greenslw - you poor thing! Hope your doing ok and feel better soon. Take care.

to Smithy, MBH and everyone else

AFM, have a quiet weekend ahead which is nice. Am feeling very tired. I ordered some Winnie the Pooh stickers for the nursery so looking forward to putting them up. We are in a rental property so cant do much to the room so the removable stickers will add our own "personal" touch to it. Am off to see my OB next Tues so hoping to get a better idea of when I should finish work and if November 4 is still the babies due date

    Have a good weekend all.

    Take care,

    Tania
