Hi all, I am back with the land of the living. Had 12 week scan today all was good low risk although we have a risk of low growth later in pregnancy, although this might be a nice thing and nothing to worry about. Campbell was 2 weeks early and weighed 4150g so slow growth at the end might be nice. HR was 168 still nice and strong. I asked her if I was insane to think I could feel baby move already and she said no, with babies position and placenta at the back I am not insane. And to my utter relief there is confirmed only one. Must go get dinner ready.

By the way yes the coke is helping with the ms, but I knew this already both times now I have craved coke.

Okay, well that's how I'll do it too then Neptune because my DH and I have just been rolling laughing. The funniest thing is that I was reading the start of the post, turned to talk to him and when I turned back I just caught the fated "suffer in your jocks Murph " line and told him. We then read together. Too funny. He's only ever heard the term once when I said it. Grub you are due some big pay back but for now my face hurts from grinning so hard!!!!

Catch you all up later, got a lot to do tonight.xox

Thanks everyone! DH isn't giving me a hard time, it's just very rare that he actually comes out and asks for it, like some of you it's usually me asking so when he does ask and I knock him back I feel guilty. I'm thinking I might wait at least until after scan next week then maybe give it a go LOL. Or maybe I can try and talk myself into it and surprise DH for our 6-month wedding anniversary this week

Becc: How funny, I've been a mad peanut butter fan too! Every morning for breakfast without fail, peanut butter toast! And funnily enough for a few days last week I had a mad craving for barbecued onions! DH made them for me Friday night but by then I was kinda over it... oops! And I also started dry reaching this morning after smelling DH's instant coffee... pretty funny since before IVF I couldn't function without my Moccona! But every day is different and I'm loving every minute of this and just with all my heart that I get to stay for the long haul!

Good to see I'm not the only one here that can talk under 6 feet of wet cement loved Grub's post too!

    Nighty night!

    Grub you are so funny

BOC My poor DH was to sceared to do anyting but I put an end to that but now we can't do anything due to the bed rest thing and it would be a rude shock for the nurses to see that when they walk in you will know when your ready your hormones do funny things to you when your pregnant. Try to stop stressing and keep that heart rate of yours down.

Bec I ate peanut butter all the time in he earlier weeks I couldnt get any of the stuff more so on crumpets yum.

Saph im glad to hear your scan went well.

Hope everyone is relaxing take care of your tums

    Hi Ladies

Just a quick one to say I still drop in often to check on everyones progress and am so happy everyone seems to be baking away nicely except all those little twinnies need to cook a little longer! A couple of things well DTD in our life became null and void as i suffered severe MS until the day I delivered and poor hubby was soooo patient i wanted to try once but freaked out on him then about 37 weeks i dont know what came over me but we dtd and two days later we had a son lol. Be rest assured despite everything you will want it again and I have heard of people dtd 5 days after delivery or many weeks later its very individual but you will know!
As for MS my biggest tip was Coke too and i HATE the stuff but sipping it of a morning setlled the nausea for a bit and so the Dr's at work told me is medically proven..so drink up (unless you have GD).
Well ladies i will keep an eye out... by the way has anyone heard from kaydee? Oh and sleep now when you can comfortably, late pregnancy is just preparing you for motherhood when you cant sleep until they are and even then they look so cute you just want to watch them.

    Love and cuddles

    Hi BOC

Just thought I would add my 2 cents re: DTD, DH & I seemed to reduce the amount of DTD since we started our TTC journey.... A bit bizarre seeing that is what is needed to get you UTD. I think a lot stemmed from us first doing clomid cycles and having to DTD on demand which takes a lot of the passion out of the moment IYKWIM.

I must admit that is hasn't really changed since we have been pregnant either, probably as during the first 12 weeks I felt so nauseaus that it was the last thing on my mind, then in the 2nd trimester bubs decided to sit low in my pelvis so I was getting a lot of pelvic & cervical pain. Now in the 3rd trimester I am getting so big that it is pretty hard to find a comfy position plus I am so exhausted when DH gets home he is lucky if he gets a conversation out of me. Although I'm lucky as DH doesn't push for it and waits until I feel up to it and I think he feels a bit weird now anyway with baby moving and kicking all the time.

Remember only you will know if and when you are ready. Some women go crazy for it because of the hormones and others loose it all together.

    FWIW ....I've lost it.

The biggest turn on in my life is curling up in bed with a good book at about 830pm.

Ha! Am with you there! With the hyperstim and then round the clock nausea for the first 14 weeks there was NO way. Then I bloody fell and dislodged my pelvis so couldn't even sit or lie down without crying, and now we've been told NO to any hanky panky lest these little darlings find their way into the world too early.

DH is such a star. Not a peep of complaint from him. Poor darling.

The nurse kept telling us to DTD around transfer to stimulate the endorphins and uterine blood flow. I was so sore from bloating after EPU it wasn't going to happen. Then every time when I finnally geared up for it I started bleeding. We were told no hanky panky 2-3 weeks from each bleed, and I bled almost at a 2 week cycle. LOL! DH was counting the days then back to square one. It's two weeks from last bleed tomorrow. Please don't bleed.

KellyD great news on DH's job must be a big relief

BOC; I spoke to my clinic about bd early in pg and they said it's fine, unless your doctor says otherwise and all the hormones are good for the baby. Whatever that means. It did hurt if I had a really good time for a wile but it passed at about 9 weeks.

MissMagpie I do agrea with your post re BOC what your comfortable with is the most important thing.

Grub I'm in up libido atm. Funny how one day it went from 0 to 10

    Saph glad you're low risk

Oh Neptune, at least reading is good for your mind. Im a TV head, yep we got one in the bedroom while I was on progesterone peseries (lie down for an hour is no fun without oprah!) and it's stayed.

Frosty my thoughts are with you hope tomorrow comes and goes and all's well.

Kaydee wow pink and blue very clever mum and dad wow they were big babies for two poor Kaydee hope you're doing ok.

ATM tomorrow I tell the staff (dramatic music) my assistant is bringing food and asked if she could give me an intro to telling them. I laughed and said no. I think she was serious (scary) I did I file audit today and I'm spent. too many things to fix too many workers to talk too. Too many too many too many.

DSS is making me a honey and lemon drink he's so nice. OH and he got 6/7 for his personal project and a B for his other assignment I helped him with so proud.

we're going to the Ob today and hopefully finding out more about this missing umbilical artery. woke up on my back last night and haven't really felt bub move so i'm being silly and worrying that ''something'' has happened to my bubba... I know DH told me not to worry so much but i just can't help it... i think we are all a little more sensitive given what we've gone through as well.

Congrats Kaydee on the arrival of your matching set. What good weights, you baked a couple of goodies. Hope you are recovering well and that DD is excited about having a brother and sister.

Grub: Have you jiggled your belly around this morning. For me if I haven't felt bub move for a while that generally works and I get a kick to show how unhappy she is being shaken.

AFM: OB appt this morning and will be discussing booking in our delivery date, hopefully will have a better idea when this little one will arrive this afternoon.

    Hey Everyone

Congrats Kaydee on your wonderful babies! You did a wonderful job sweetie keeping those babies in there for so long, great weights!!

Thanks for asking about me Murph, been here, lurking, this thread is so big now its too hard to do persies. Kim and I are good. Its been 3 weeks since we had the scan and found out we are having a boy. His name is Noah Lee. We are still waiting patiently to feel him move although last night when we were lying in bed he rolled. Kim said she has felt a few little taps but no kicking. The anterior placenta has a lot to answer for. We go for our 24 week OB appt next week. We are about to move house so have been packing and organising everything for the big move!

    Take care everyone!
