Saw my OB at lunchtime and I dont have GD All bloods came back normal
However I do have high blood pressure so he has now put me on tablets twice a day. I have to go see him again next week and now have to do urine samples every time I see him. Also my tummy is measuring 35 cm which is quite big for my stage
Because of that he is sending me for an ultrasound at 30 weeks to check bubs measurements, blood flow and to see if my placenta has moved as it was lying low. So lots happening.
Sorry for the me post, just wanted to keep you updated. Will be back tomorrow for personals.
Miss Magpie me posts are fine. It is all I seem to manage at the moment. 35 is quiet big. I was always big for my weeks at 38 weeks when Campbell was born I was 45cm and he was a wopper.
I have trying to post for 2 days now and everytime I get on Campbell gets into someting or needs me urgently for something, Thank god for work tomorrow. I keep wondering how am I going to stay at home for a whole year with 2 kids. But them I think to myself I wont be confinded to the house with a sick child and Campbell does start 3 year old kindy next year so we will have things to do. Dont get me wrong I love Campbell and I love my kids but for me being a working mum works really well. Enough about Campbell this forum is about the babies in waiting. This baby has been kicking me something shocking i the bowels not so nice. I am off to see the physio tomorrow so hopefully this will help with my round ligaments. We painted the nursery which is now going to be the office on the weekend so we can start moving the office and then we get to do the nursery yeah.
Let you all know what the physio says as I a sure we all suffer from this at times.
KellyD what a cool thing to see bubs accross the table, hmmm Thai sounds nice, although spice and me aren't mixing atm.
Hi Sammiejam
Murph sorry to hear your sad news hope you're ok, thanks for such a big list too.
Hello BabyDreamtime
Jenc hope you're processing all the info and are in good spirits, my good vibes are with you and babies.
MissMagpie great news we're both lie low plecenta buddies, Here's hoping we both rise!
ATM scan Monday all "normal" baby is a couple of days younger than first thought now due on the 28th but I'm leaving ticker as is, Squeak will be early! So it's an Aquarian, DF is over the moon ahhhh 2 of them
Heard the Heart beat for the first time today, it was great.
Work is still greating on me, I actually had one of my staff swear at me today, tomorrow we're having a 'chat' I really am sick of chatting, grown women should know better, if you need to vent it doesn't need to be agro, after all that's what we tell our clients but I am keep perspective and it will sort itself out.
Squeak is the nickname I've come up with for Baby2Be cos I need something so Squeak is kicking up a storm and I love it. Such a great feelings.
So another scan at 30 weeks due to low lying plecenta, that is going to be so uncomfortable, 45 mins monday ages. But it was pretty cool.
Well physio today was lets say interesting. The good news is I dont have round ligament pain. Bad news it is worse it is actually pubic girdle pain (pubis symphysis). She proded and pocked around on my pubis bone and I nearly umped off the bed. She said my pain was to servere for round ligament pain. I was given a whole list of things not to do (yeah no house work for me) and tomorrow I am off to be fitted with a lovely brace. If this doesn't get better i may not be able to have a natural birth. I a trying to avoid a CS. We can not afford for DH to stay home with me for six weeks. He is self employed with 10 employees. If he doesnt work thats 11 people who dont get paid. well hopefully no one else suffers this pain.
I've hit 50 days and counting. Hopefully they will be a fast 50 days.
Murph: So sorry about your Nan, at least you know that Jazzy will have a special guardian angel looking over her.
Jen: Good luck tomorrow and if your boys do have to come on Saturday it will be a very special Fathers Day for your DH.
Greenslw: on the scan results. I wouldn't worry about the couple of days diffence in your due date as based on a quick scan my Dr did a couple of weeks ago bubs was measuring just over a week bigger than our dates. I think they are happy with a variance of 2 weeks either way.
Miss M: Wow what a biggen you must be carrying or maybe you just have one that likes to stretch out and is making some extra room now for when the real growth spurt happens.
Saph: So sorry to hear about your condition. I'm having a c/s and my DH is only able to get 2 weeks off work. We have decided that seeing I will be in hossy for about 5 days, he is going to take 2 weeks off when I come home. My IL will be here the week I'm in hossy and the following week and then my parents (who will be in Perth house sitting for my sister - but that's another story) will then be home when my IL's leave so they will drop by every couple of days or so to help. But I'm hoping by the time DH goes back to work that I will be much more mobile. Although I don't have a toddler like you to also look after.
Everyone else I hope you are all doing well and am waiting patiently to hear how things have gone with Mels & MHB.
Is anyone else in here NOT receiving any update emails? None at all? I'm just checking in here daily just in case cause I'm getting nothing, despite signing in every time I view.
Hope you are all going well.
KellyD: Congrats on 50 days! I bet you it's a lot easier to imagine the finish line now!
Saph: Sorry to hear about your condition. Here's hoping it doesn't get too bad and you get your natural birth.
Grenslw: Don't worry about it, my FS tried to tell me at my 7 week scan that I was only 6wks, but mine was very clinical and documented IVF and there's no way the dates could be mistaken. I just go with the fact that my Cookie is "petite" (although my already-visible belly certainly isnt!) Good luck with the chat. Hope they settle down. you don't need the stress. Maybe threaten them if they keep it up they'll cause you to go into a preggy "meltdown". That's enough to strike fear into anyone
Jen: Oh yes! What a terriffic Fathers Day gift for DH! I wish you a quick & smooth delivery (well as much as birth can be!)
Hi to everyone else!
So has anyone heard anything from the two Ms? Hoping no news is good news.
AFM: Nothing much to report. 9 weeks today, YAY!!! Had a shocking night, awake all night with really bad hayfever & allergies, feel like I'm drowning it's driving me nuts! And it's only the 3rd day of spring! On the up though, still not much MS so I think I've probably skipped it. Sorry Smithy, I think you copped my lot too by mistake! Did some more shopping yesterday (oops) and got the cutest tee from Big W, it says "Shopping for Two" which is hilarious seeing as even before I was pg I was shopping for 3 or 4 or 5
Also I think we've settled on our names. We decided DH would choose the boy's name and I have had my heart set on a girls' name for a long time now Mahli Rose for a girl (which we think it is) or Jaggar Brock for a boy. (Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder Mahli09 )
Anyway hope you're all having a good Thursday and will catch up with you again soon!
BOC, those are beautiful names, and big congratulations on 9 weeks Yay! Have you checked all the right boxes in your user profile so that you receive notification? I ended up unticking mine as I was subscribed to so many threads and getting email notification, which I had to look at on BB, I was getting no work done at all
KellyD, congrats on 50 days, woo hoo, not long to go now, that will fly by. Glad you will have plenty of help from your relatives once bubs arrives.
Saph, so sorry to hear it is worse than you thought, I hope the brace will do the trick. I am hoping to avoid a CS too. Hope you are taking care.
Greenslw, sorry about your work troubles, you so should not have to put up with attitude like that. I agree, sometimes it is the girls that can be the hardest to work with. So glad your scan went well.
MissMapgie, yay for no GD, but bugger for high blood pressure. And don't worry about your size, everyone keeps telling me that we are all different, it is the baby's health that is important.
Jenc, GL with your growth scan on Friday, I hope all is well, you have done such a great job to get them this far, and at 34 weeks they will be fine. Hope T2's growth has improved. Thinking of you.
Hi again to everyone.
I am going great, I feel like I have finally hit the 2nd trimester, more energy, litterally no ms, I have even started doing some exercise and am convincing myself I might just be able to make it to pregnancy yoga on Sat morning at 8.00 am.
I do have a question, am sorry if its TMI , but I have been having some vaginal discharge, have been wearing panty liners and changing a couple of times a day, but I am a little bit worried it is too much, and it is sort of creamy yellow. Is this normal? I am worried about getting thrush, with the hot weather coming up and it always being damp down there.
Other than that I am eagerly awaiting my scan on Tue to check gender, really excited, just can't wait to start buying pink or blue.
Love to all xx

to BOC, Mahli, Kahlan, Murph, Greenslw and everyone else.
AFM, had a really FULL ON weekend. I am so tired today. With Fathers Day, my 20 year school reunion and the footy finals, I am STUFFED!!! I go to see my OB tomorrow to check on my BP. Am hoping the tablets are doing there job. Its my 2 yr anniversary tomorrow so look forward to going out to celebrate tomorrow night Also, we start our ante-natal classe on Wednesday night!! Looking forward to them too.
Congrats Mel on the safe arrival of Zach. Another boy to add to our ever expanding blue list.
Jen: Hope all goes to plan on Wednesday and that your boys arrival safe and healthy. Tell you doctors that you the first one delivered at 9.00 and the other at 9.09 just to keep the theme going.
Murph: I felt like such a goose reading your recent post. Maybe not the Guardian Angel you would want.... Sorry for putting my foot in it...
Smithy: oh no about MS, has the Dr given you something to help as you have been sick for ages???
Grub: Bummer about having a cold, do people not realise that pg women are more likely to catch any germs floating around...
BOC: Yay on choosing names already, you are so organised. Gotta love a reason to go shopping. I haven't really bought a lot of Maternity type clothing this whole time, just been getting a size bigger in normal clothes as I know I will still be wearing them for a little bit after bubs arrives.
BDT: Can't wait to find out if you are pink, blue or both... Please add some pink to this very blue thread. What with MHB and Mels boys arriving and Jens to come on Wednesday I'm feeling pretty lonely and I'm sure Murph is as well with us so far representing the XX side of things.
Mahli: Good to see you again. Wow time seems to have flown by now that you are passed the 21 week mark. Hope you little bundle is playing nicely for you.
Neptune: I'm so happy for you that you can see movement in the "Operation Clearout" hopefully you will have a beautiful nursery all set up very soon. And congrats on getting this far at work, I don't think I could have coped working up to 34 weeks (which would have been this friday). I haven't worked for 14 weeks now and am thankful that I was lucky enough to be able to leave so early.
Saph: Sorry to hear you ended up in hossy. I hope you are on the mend and feeling better.
Greenslw: Hope the "children" oh sorry I mean adults pull there heads in soon for you.... Hello pregnant women... hormones.....
Miss M: Too bad about your "Pies" on the weekend. My DH is a pies supporter and he has full on cracked it now as he is sure there is no way the will beat the Crows next week. I sit quietly as my "Cats" made another prelim and say nothing......
If I missed anyone, a big hello to you all.
AFM: OB appt on Wednesday and c/s date will be booked. I think worse case scenario I have 38 days left, but could be 36 or 37 which will be such a relief. Baby is so low now that if she got any lower her head would be hanging between my legs and lower back pain has really kicked in as well.... And lets not mention the Braxton Hicks, nothing better than walking around the supermarket gettting a contraction and baby deciding that she might have a stretch and roll around at the same time... Just doesn't work... MIL at our house for another 2 days, so trying to be a gracious host, but it is hard work when all I want to do is sloth around the house IYKWIM.
Mels - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear more about it. Enjoy your special time with your little Zach. I totally agree with all the other ladies - gorgeous name!
To all you gorgeous things feeling poorly - I'm wishing you better!! Pls take care of yourselves.
And to those of you with scans coming up - can't wait to hear if yours are pink or blue!!! How exciting
Kel - sounds like you are AT THE END!! rest rest rest rest. tell mil to wait on you!!! if all else fails say you're feeling too uncomfortable and poorly to get out of bed and would she mind bringing you a cuppa and turning down the lights. hee hee
AFM, well, I have a TIME!! 8.30am is when I'm being wheeled in! So we'll see how close we get to 9.00 and 9.09. wouldn't that be hilarious! Had another scan today and it showed that the blood flow impairment to the placenta is getting worse, and the resistance is intermittently absent, so def need to have delivery soon. I am very very excited about meeting these little mites.
Hi to everyone else - hope you're all baking nicely.
If I can't check in tomorrow, I will be back as soon as I can with some exciting news!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big kisses to all of you - I couldn't have got this far without your support
first congrats mel!
and welcome to the newbies!!! sorry i wont get to know you!!!
just a quick update from me!
i had the worst birth experience! it was the worst and best day of my life! bubs had the cord around his neck which we didnt know until he was taken out via the c section also needing forceps and this is y he would not engage and my induction failed. so, in the end it was for the best! i didnt see him for hours he went to special care coz he wasnt breathing well and bsl was very low but then they brought this little pink thing in next to me! he may have to go back though as he has lost half a kilo in a week, he did put on 55grams since sunday though so i have to feed him top up formula. will do my birth story next week, still pretty sore but getting there! i miss being pregnant and still cry about not having a vaginal birth but i will get over it! newborns are hardwork!!!!!! i will miss it in here and wont be in here for about another 5 years, thats if my TTC journey is just as difficult as last time! thanks heaps girls! i will pop in time to time to check up on you all!
Sorry have been MIA this week. Was laid up with a cold earlier this week. Am on the mend but not 100%. The footy game on Saturday just took it out of me but what a WIN by the mighty PIES!!!! Hopefully we can beat the Cats tomorrow night
Twomums - CONGRATULATIONS on the arrival of Noah! I hope you are both doing well and that Noah gets bigger and stronger everyday. Thinking of you and take care. xx
Smithy - WOW, your having a GIRL, congrats
Bridget - glad all went well with your scan. That first scan is truely amazing when you see the heartbeat on the screen. Take care and try to relax.
Lilmiss - Hello and welcome Hope you enjoy this thread and wishing you all the best for the next 8 months. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Lots of great girls in here ready to help.
BDT - thats a bugger they couldnt confirm there earlier predications of girls. Im sure the next few weeks will FLY by and before you know it, it will be your 20 week scan
Kelly - so close now, its gone so quickly!!! I remember when it was our birthdays!
Azz - hope your boys are doing ok and your not going to CRAZY in hospital. Take care.
to Grub, Murph, BOC, Greenslw, Bella, Saph and everyone else.
AFM, other than being sick and my team playing in the finals tomorrow, Im having a preggy massage tomorrow which I am really looking forward to. This cold has really taken me for a six so will be nice to get pampered. I have Monday off work as Im only working 4 days a week and I finish work in 3 weeks TODAY I cant wait. Am organising a baby shower for 18 Oct so looking forward to that too.
Our beautiful DS from our second cycle of IVF is now nearly 19mths old.
I found out yesterday that I am somewhere between 3 weeks 4 days and 4 weeks 2 days UTD naturally, after a FET loss at 8 weeks 3 days and D/C last month.
I am 41 and DP is 47 so we cannot believe how lucky we are! Although we are VERY VERY aware of what could go wrong: our little lost son was diagnosed with trisomy 7 after my D and C.
I started to bleed 5 days ago, and thinking this was AF headed to clinic to start my next protocol/stim cycle. Had blood taken and they have me my little carrier bag, and headed off.
That afternoon they told me there was HCG in my system and not to use the drugs (cant remember what my prog was). 8 days prior my HCG had been down to 3 (tested after D/C) and was now 12. 2 days later my Prog was 30 and HCG 21 and they told me we were UTD!
I am in shock.
I am still bleeding, and it is much like a period so I dont know what to make of that, but am praying to the universe that all will be well, and that I will get to hang out n this thread until May 26 2010!!!
Drbee, I'm in shock just reading so you must be in la la land, you poor thing. You must have been so confused with those levels, what a tricky little emby. I have everything crossed for you and wish you all the sticky vibes to hang on to this little one. So sorry to hear you have been through so much lately and hope that we get to know you better.
Welcome Drbeee. That sounds very stressful, I've got everything crossed that things go in the right direction for you over the next few days.
Twomums - huge congratulations on the early arrival of Noah . I am thinking lots of grow strong vibes and sending them your way. You were in the right place at the right time, which will help enormously in his growth.
Smithy - yay for pink!
Hi to everyone. I can't type for long because I have no feeling in my fingers whatsoever due to carpal tunnel syndrome *sigh*. I feel like I have fared pretty well during my pregnancy, and really I guess I am just lucky that it didn't happen earlier, but now I need to get things done and I can't! A little bit frustrating. Otherwise well, it is getting very close now. We have decided on a name!!!! Yippee. But, no nursery as yet and therefore nowhere to put things away yet. Soon I hope.
