oh you're all so lovely thinking of me. Thank you. I feel quite overwhelmed with emotion today so am finding myself getting all teary when people are so kind.

the good news is that the boys are still in! My scan results showed further discordance (now nearly 25% between them) and an increased umbilical resistance index for my little one, but the blood flow is still positive. It only becomes an emergency situation if the blood flow is intermittently absent or negative.

So I have avoided any emergency deliveries. I am now officially booked in to deliver my boys on Wednesday - 09/09/09!! how funny!! my ob got quite excited about it being at 9am, although I haven't actually been told a time yet, so I'm not sure if it could be quite that organised.

I'll have another scan on Monday and hopefully it will show the same situation and I won't have to rush in on Monday for a section. I'm pretty confident we'll hold out til Wed. Our boys will be 34+1 then, and I am pretty happy with that Our big one is about 2.1kg and our little one about 1.6kg, so he's a fair bit smaller. They'll both go into the nicu, and probably in different sections until the little one catches up a bit.

Murph, I'm sorry about your nana. Don't feel you need to apologise for mentioning it. It sounds to me like you've had to lose her twice. I think that's a really difficult thing to deal with, so I'm glad we're here for you if you need us.

Saph, you poor thing. I really hope you're ok. You're having a rough trot at the moment. Must have been scary to end up in hospy. Hoping everything gets much better very soon. Hugs.

Neptune, glad things are on the move. Have been feeling for you. Hope it continues honey.

Mels!!!!!!!! Good luck!! hope the sweep works. I've heard they're not the most pleasant things... Big love!!

Greenslw - yeah tell her what's what! You can do it. People can be hideous can't they. Hope it all gets better. We spend so much time at work, that when it's awful it just impacts the rest of your time.

Grub, you make me laugh! I have a friend who was nameless for weeks!! Her mum knew she had picked a name, but she just couldn't think of it when my friend was born. And she refused to call her anything else until it 'came back to her'. Apparently she was called 'baby' for 5 weeks. And guess what the name was??? EMMA! Hilarious.

Hi redidres!! Welcome!! We all know what the first tri is like. You'll find lots of love and support here.

BDT - at about your stage I had similar discharge. It's usually all normal - so much going on in there! But, yes, if you're worried mention it to your dr.

BOC - very cool names! It makes it more real when you name them doesn't it. We settled on Hamish and Lachlan pretty early on, but now I even know which one is which!! I know it sounds funny, but I can tell by how active they are, and what movement patterns they're in. They really are so different. Hamish is my 'pow pow pow' energiser cheeky one. And little Lachie is my small baby. He's much more cruisy and languid.

Kelly - you're on the countdown now - exciting!!! Hope you're feeling ok. I am really feeling like a gigantic whale at the moment and am grateful for the bedrest

Tania - thinking of you. Yeah, don't listen to people when they go on about size. Everyone is SO different. Hope your BP settles.

I had my baby shower this afternoon in the hospital grounds under some lovely fig trees. It was just such a lovely couple of hours. I felt a bit like an idiot sitting there in my wheelchair, but it was so so nice to see my friends, and I got the most amazing and generous pressies. You know, girlfriends are a special and treasured thing aren't they. I feel very lucky to have so many beautiful people in my life

Hi Smithy! Bella and Azz I'll catch up with you in the twin thread. Hi to everyone else!! Phew, I'm running out of puff. Take care everyone.

    Hi girls

JenC - Wow, 9/9/09, that's cool! How exciting, I will be thinking of you on Wednesday. Glad you enjoyed your baby shower, and yes I don't know where I would be without my girlfriends.

Saph - you poor thing, I hope you are okay, take care.

Mels - Good luck over the next few days, and if nothing happens naturally, then WOOOHOOO for Tuesday, and I can't wait for your news.

Murph - Families are rarely straightforward, I am sorry about your Nan, makes it a bit more of a challenge to grieve when the understanding is not there.

Hey to everyone else, I am very tired and can't sit still for long because of a little foot in my ribs and back pain.

AFM: The clean up is happening, but at the moment it is worse than ever. Can't watch TV or really sit anywhere or do anything because of all the stuff everywhere, but he is moving stuff! I am finding it hard to see a way out in time for the baby, but I feel better knowing he is trying, and I think he does too because we are getting along really well. He has the enxt few days off, so fingers crossed I get a nursery by the time I go on maternity leave this Thursday.

YAYAY! Maternity leave. Now that I am here at 34.5 weeks, I realised I should have left at 33. I am not coping at work with the fluid retention an general discomfort, so REALLY happy to be finishing this week.

I had my baby shower yesterday - we had a high tea at the Hyatt and it was lovely. I had a couple of sips of very nice champagne!

Not very comfy at the moment. I am finding sitting/driving very difficult because there is a foot in my right ribs, but if I lean back into the couch just a little bit, I think the baby/uterus is blocking off the venous return because I feel sick and giddy. So I am finding I have to move around a fair bit. Maybe he will move down a bit soon and it will settle.

Sorry for the long ME post.

    Hello All you baking ovens!!

I hope everyone is doing well - by the sounds of the posts everyone who was sufferring MS seems to be doing better which is good!

Only a few personals as I am at work at not too much time to do all!

Murph01 My due date is the 13/01/10 and we are not finding out the sex (I keep meaning to let you know for the update that you do!)

Greenslw I sooo know what you mean about work grating on you - my boss has been a massive biatch and I have left work twice in tears in the past two weeks - my DH wants me to finish up at 34 weeks just to get away from her earlier

BDT I had the gross discharge thing too and mine turned into thrush - I got the 7 day canestan pessaries from the chemist and it cleared it up - they recomended not using the applicator though and your safe in the second trimester to use it - hope that helps a bit!

Boc I love your names and we are still in love with Mahli to or Max for a boy but I also like Kennedie for a girl now - so hard to choose. We like Mahli though beacuse it means a Meadow in March and we got married in March overlooking a meadow!! (we found that out after choosing the name!)

AFM - I am 21 weeks and 5 days!! I have downloaded the coolest app for my iphone about pregnancy - totally reccomend it! I have been feeling the baby kicking alot and DH felt it this morning too which was great to see his face! I think the baby had hiccups on Friday night too which made me laugh because I always have them!! I have had my 20 week us and all things look great now I need to book my GTT which I am soooo not looking forward to because I have to do the full test with the gross drink - yuk!

Anyway I better do some actual work! Take care everyone!!

    Hi Everybody!

Mels: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! on the safe arrival of little Zach! Hope you enjoy your Babymoon and glad to hear the induction was only yesterday rather than days of labour!

I have downloaded the coolest app for my iphone about pregnancy - totally reccomend it! Mahli
Hey Mahli, is that iPregnancy? I have that one, totally AWESOME! I check it every day, can't help myself! Also available for iPhones are kick counters and a handy little contraction counter too for when you go into labour. You tap the screen each contraction it records the time and duration and stores the past 5 contractions so you can see how far apart they are. Love the names by the way.

Smithy: You poor love, you really need a break don't you! Hope you get a break from it soon. Now Charlie, listen to Aunty BOC, Behave or else you will be grounded until you are 30!

Grub: So sorry you are freaking sick again . I'm with you, I HATE people who come to work sick and spread it. I had a boss that used to do it all the time and I have always had a low immune system. I would get really sick too and she would give me a hard time about taking time off and say I was faking it to prove a point. How exciting about a new car! What are you looking at? I'm so glad before we TTC I insisted our last car bought was a Mitsubishi Outlander (I had a Corolla) cause now I don't have to worry about boot space or anything. Hope you feel better soon chick.

Neptune: YAY! Glad to see Project De-clutter has commenced. It's good to see he's making an effort. He obviously loves you very much and is trying his hardest for you & bub.

Jen: Good luck for 09/09/09 at 9! I hope the doctors get their acts together so it all pans out for you.

to everyone else I've missed. Hope you're all away nicely.

AFM: Nothing much to report. Still feeling very random but feeling lucky that I've not had the full-blown MS. Went shopping on the weekend (yep.. AGAIN! I think I may have a problem...) I have both a wedding AND a christening this weekend and when I tried on all my dressier outfits none of them would fit over my belly so I went to Target and got a couple of gorgeous maxi dresses that can be dressed up with nice shoes and jewellery. They're a little loose too so should last me through summer YAY!

Hope everyone is feeling good and keep up the good posting!

hi Mahli - so glad you dropped by again! and i likey kennedie for a girl. good on you for staying strong and not finding out... do you have a preference apart from healthy and human? I hope your boss pulls her head in too. is it cos you're leaving she's being a cow or is she just a joy to work wth all the time? glad your DH felt the bubs, it's soo much fun when they touch your belly... they sooo want to be part of it all i kinda feel bad my DH can't feel what i feel iykwim. lol.

Jen - that baby shower sounds like it was just lovely! the best things work out when unplanned and i am LOVING your special 9/9/9 dates. Good luck, i hope you can hold out til then, but i'm sure if they showed up a day or two early you'll forgive them! lol. And I can compltely understand your friend forgetting her favorite albeit fairly common name for a few weeks lol. but that is pretty funny! I forgot the word 'soil' the other day at work... my boss now thinks i'm a complete idiot (in a nice way) and i got teased by the whole office hmmm

Hey Neptune - i'm most glad to hear there's progress on the home front. whatever the outcome, you've got to respect him for the real effort he is obviously putting in for you and bub hun. hope you are giving him lots of kisses in support and hope your week flies by and you finish up. I've only got about 7 weeks left, am leaving at 34 and I wish i was leaving now! lol. So i am hearing you about overstaying your welcome. just take care of yourself love oxox

hi saph - oh lovely. hope you are feeling better. watch anything good?

hi greenslw, muprh, mels, missmapgie, bdt, redidris, boc, kellyd, and Azz - hope you are keeping well also love.

AFM - well, home freaking sick AGAIN! this time it's just a cold but i'm am peeved off at people going to work when they are sick, coughing and spluttering everywhere and making me sick! At least i can work from home today tho so don't have to claim it as a sick day bbrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhfddhfhkjsagaeslhg

sorry just really really cranky about it all. had been feeling so well after swine flu and even swimming and walking like a good preggy lady. apart from that, DH is looking at upgrading my vehicle for me. so i'm pretty excited about that, in a snotty, snuffling, headachey kind of way

Hope everyone gets better and stays well. Look how far along we all are! I'm 26 weeks! i swear it was just last week i was stressing about making the magic 12!!!

Congrats Mel... hope you recover soon... though I would imagine you will forget the labour pain very soon. I now only recall being in so much pain but can't seem to recall the actual pain.. isn't that amazing.

To everyone else, I hope you are doing well... sorry haven't really been following people's progress as well as I should.

WHOO HOO Mels, the biggest congratulations on the birth of your new baby boy Zach, love the name, glad to hear all is well and look forward to more details xx

Jenc, good luck for Wed, absolutely love the date, I hope all goes well.

Mahli, thanks for your advice, I have just bought Cenesten, Yakult and a probiotic after extensive googling , though nothing smelly (sorry TMI ) it is a bit darker (yellowy almost) and definitely clumpy like they describe, so am assuming it is thrush. Fingers crossed it clears up.

Grub, congrats on 26 weeks YAY! so sorry to hear you are sick, take care.

Smithy, you poor love, hope that ms goes soon, and GL for this week, how exciting to find out pink or blue!

Neptune, so glad mat leave is upon you and glad to hear things are progressing at home. Your baby shower sounds like it was divine.

Saph, hope you are feeling better soon.

Greenslw, hope you are well and your dramas at work are settling down.

Murph, lucky you to be loosing weight off your thighs , but sorry to hear you are getting all the pregnancy problems at once, you are on the home stretch now, not long to go.

    Hi to everyone else.

I am on the edge of my seat excited about my scan tomorrow, will be back in then when we know if it is pink or blue or both .

    Lots of love xx
