Woohoo Bella, that is so exciting, fingers crossed they stay baking a little longer, and great news that the growth difference is less.

BOC, yes I have a recommendation for cleaning the oven - DH lol. Aquarobics sounds like a great idea.

Kelly, thanks so much for your advice re nighties, I am off to BigW too, which reminds me of those lovely pics of Angelina and Brad with their latest babies, wasn't she wearing a really pretty white floaty nightie in the pics, very celebrity of us

Yeehaa everyone! It is the weekend. Pizza for dinner tonight YUM. And no house work for me either as the house is so dusty from all the ongoing work, there is no point.

    Have a great weekend xx

    -

maybe you could google 'natural cleaning products'. i'm sure there is some sort of household item innocently sitting in your cupboard that has 'magical' cleaning properites

wow bella that is super duper exciting! Can you tell your belly has dropped or was it the pressure feeling more? i'm on high alert for droppping as at my scan the other day the sonographer said bub was sitting "very low, i mean very low'' lol. so i got worried he's engaged already!

boc - do remember you won't be doing much tossing and turnign if you have a c-sect or probably vaggy baby for that matter! and hospy beds aren't that friendly to moving about. But i'm also going preggy/nursing singlets and pants for most of my hospy wear with a nightie or two, and some maternity pjs. but i'm hoping i'll have bub via the main gates iykwim and won't even have a graze lol. (yes, i've been alone for 2 full weeks and have become delusional, have started having conversations with bluey's teddies mmmwwaaahhh)

kellyd - that's great advice about taking a change of clothes for every day.

i'm excited as plan to pack my bags next weekend when mum is here. also, one of dh's workmates left a message for me today - to ring him and let him know when to come and mow the lawn made me feel much less forgotten!

only one week left at work and really not doing too much actual work - lots of bringing others up to speed and tieing up lose ends

feel huge and fat and can't stop eating! anyone else still eating lots? i figure he must be having another growth spurt!

going to preggy pilates tomorrow if it's not bucketing down

hope you all have a fab weekend

OK I'm so far behind again (deap breath)

Grub you gave 8 months notice, you are nice. enjoy the week left. So sad re DP. I send you and bubs lots of hang in their vibes.

    Bella massages are the best

Laniwantsababy glad to see another mad lady working post 34 weeks. I've got 11 to go.

BOC re working away. Can he give it a go for 6 months then see if it's working for the whole family? I think it is really hard to say no to good money especially if the job you have sux. I always said "no" to DF but it looks like it may happen, in the end I'd rather happy DF than miserable and around lots. But I love the idea of a review in 6 months and I (or you) get a vote! hope this helps.

Saph, I hope the new meds work and DH is looking after you.

Smithy OMG still spewing! I do sometimes but only if I eat when I'm not hungry.

KellyD thanks for the insight into your bag. Very good to have some ideas that work.

    NEPTUNE welcome Adam. Well done.

Popyfairy glad you are in a better place

Baby Dreamtime you sound like you're mega nesting! hope you are taking lots of breaks in between all the hard work. What colour are you painting?

MissMagpie enjoy your board time I think all mums to be need it. 2 weeks how very very exciting, all bags packed?

Murph sending you and DH lots of happy baby is coming vibes

Sorry if I missed anyone along the way. I love readying all your posts but it takes ages.

ATM I got tafe work for next year so that's one more thing off the list.
I've noticed I'm swelling already, I can't wear my engagement ring, so it's around my neck.
This week is full of meetings and I'm scared about my attention span it's about 3 hours then I'm a ball of geww. So I'm hoping we get things done in the morning then I can sneak out with my dignity in tact. Well that's the plan.
Study is going well I feel loads more confident with all the prep I'm doing for a pac on melbourn cup day (bummer) and one the following Saturday. It will all be fine *my new mantra*

Lots of belly rubs to all. Have a great weekend. xxooxx

    Hello everyone,

well all things being equal and provided that Jasmine does not decide to turn now, she will here on Thursday. I am really excited now. I wouldn't have believed it if you told me I'd look forward to it but I've had lots of my fears dispelled about the epidural and caesarian. I know I can read horror stories if I want but I'm choosing to look at experiences like KellyD's and lots of the other girls who have shared previously. We also met with the lovely anaesthetist and he was great...so stay breech Jazzy and we'll have you out in a jiffy

Aww shucks Grub, you make me blush. I'm not good at compliments, much better with sarcasm

Mum's in Best and Less as we speak buying me some Nana nighties. I went out and bought some super duper excellent on special button down tops and p.j pants at Sussans which I live in before finding out about the nightie dilemma. So I text the keeper of all nana nighties and none of hers are suitable for BF. She'll spot a bargain, $7.00 was her last offer. I bought one really cute one at Kmart but it's all they had other than smocks and moo moos and I still fit non-maternity size 12

Saph, I hope you got to enjoy the ballet pain-free. I thought labour was kicking in for me lastnight, I had all sorts of different pains and we were on alert thinking we'd need the ferry driver's after hours number.

BOC - cute belly pics. I just had my last ones taken today wearing exactly what I had on the first time we could see the bump growing (14 weeks) and at 38 weeks, I'm enormous at least by my own comparison (if noone elses My tum never really changed from those measurements where I got everyone out with the measuring tapes...I'm now 103cm when I stretch the tape. How are you all faring?

Smithy, thanks for the tour of Charlie's room. So warm and welcoming and you've done so well being so sick. I haven't exaggerated about Jasmine's room and I wish I could show you, she has her cradle in one side of our wardrobe with no doors on in our bedroom and that is it! Poor little bugger, I'm not showing her your video I think she's putting up shelves in the womb and going to settle in as it's bigger than what she's moving out to. I have got a beautiful ruby red mozzie net draped above and at least her little space in the world will have a theme, so going with lady bugs which I adore and it's been our ticker so I'm even more attached.

Hey to all the lovely girls who have newly become mums and are recovering and bonding at home with your babies. we still think of you often...the list is so long, but you know who you are. This is like my Oscars speech as I will soon be stepping off too and looking back fondly at the support you've all given me.

Baby Dreamtime, take it easy and look after those little twinnies and you too Bella. Glad to hear you are both traveling well in twinville, despite your many aches and pains and worries along the way.

Miss Magpie, so soon for you now too. If you don't overtake me again, I think you're next. I'd better go update. Take care and hope you are preparing for your c/s like me and not getting freaked out.

Poppiefairy and all the lovely girls I know I've missed (again), I hope you are all going well and looking after yourselves. I keep thinking of your last post Poppiefairy and it really gives me a lift to know so many of us are in similar situations, literally worlds away but able to come together here for support. yes, I think you all worked it out, I'm a humanist...give me Maslow over Freud any day.

Lots of love to you all. for me that Jazzy now stays breech, little bugger.xoxo

    Newly pregnant!

    Good afternoon ladies!

I hope you don't mind me joining you here in this thread - last week DH and I achieved our first BFP!

    A little about me:

I went off Depo Provera in October 2007, and AF returned straight away. DH and I tried to conceive naturally until about May this year when I spoke with my GP. She did some tests and referred us to FS at MIVF, who then told us DH had low sperm count, poor motility and morphology, and recommended ICSI. Our first cycle was cancelled hours before ET as we only had 5 eggs from EPU, 2 of which fertilised, but they both developed muliple nuclei and FS wouldn't transfer them. Second cycle we transferred 2 embies and on Wednesday we got our BFP!!

DH and I are terribly excited, but i'm as nervous and anxious as all hell, hence i'm hoping you lovely ladies may be able to reassure me. I don't know if it's a normal pregnancy thing, or if i'm like this because of the LTTTC and AC, but every twinge, sore back, pain etc., every time I go to the bathroom, basically all day every day, i'm convinced something bad will happen. It's only been 4 days, so i'm hoping it's just early nerves, cos I really don't want to be anxious the whole 9 months! Did others experience this? Did you calm down? What helped?

Our first scan is Nov 6 where the nurse said we should be able to see if we have one or two on board...!!

Thanks for reading this far (if you made it!). I look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing your stories

    hi lise welcome aboard lovely!!!

this thread rocks. its very supportive and full of neurotic pregnant women (you all know i mean that with love lol).

as for going to the loo every 20 mins - well that sounds pretty normal. And i hate to break it to you but the anxiety does not let up! there is always something. I think its about you choosing how much you'll let it get to you. But for now, i highly recommend just enjoying your acheivement thus far enjoy the moment with your DH.

thanks smithy for the shout out! can't believe you ask how i am going and you are so sick all the time. day's been okay. but am getting lots of back pain, so making dinner/lunch was somewhat a challenge as i can barely stand. ended up ringing DH for husband sympathy as i really really really needed someone to help me out today ah well.

    mum here on thurs!

greenslw - sorry didn't understand the tafe comment. does that mean you've got a definite return to work/study date for next year? (sorry if that's a really dumb question). and yep, my work had lots of notice cos my boss (who is the most loveliest wonderful boss ever ever ever) knew what was happening with our lttc. Despite losing his 2IC with me going, he offers nothing but support! lol. and let me take off whatever i needed - mostly without having to take sick leave etc.

murph - you can't go from this thead! who will i give sh*t to lol? But i'm so glad you are excited! i'm excited for you sweet! I can't imagine actually getting to the arrival date! does it feel a little surreal? after all this waiting and longing, your dream will arrive??

saph - how you going lovely? how was the ballet? which production was it? i love the ballet but it doesn't come here often and dh won't go with me.

ooh bella- that is exciting news!!! any updates!

bdt - how was your peezzzaaa???

    hi to everyone else!!! oxox

Murph: Just dropping in to wish you the best of luck for Thursday and I can't wait to hear when Jazzy arrives safely. I'm so happy that you now feel empowered about your c/s. Looking forward to sharing our parenting journey together, catch you on the flip side.
