thanks kellyd - i bought a baby sleep book on impulse from big dub and after i paid $40 and got home did i realise it only deals with babies older than 6 months. and lol... i think bella is next... hmmm actually where is bella?
LM - that is lovely. i like that you are taking special note of reactions. i can't remember what DH's parents said/did but i remember one of my dad's first comments was "i'll have to buy another fishing rod for him''! and my mum fell off her treadmill lol .. probably should have waited til she stopped. My brother said "good one grub" lol - for the record, yes my family actually call me grub... and even worse i answer to it.
KELLYD AND MY LITTLE GRUB 9 SlEEPS LEFT SWEETY have good cuddles on the lounge psssst i wont tell dh lol..
AIRLINE.big hugs sweety hang in there hope you got your scan.

mitf - good to see/read you again! How exciting for you and DH, seeing your sooo desired little one. I can understand why you're bursting to share your fantastic news m'dear.
grub- thanks for the tick tip...that was my furbaby who had one. luckily she's shorthaired and we spotted it quickly. ooh it's all getting close for you !!!! how exciting!
smithy - thank you all hugs received gratefully.
afm - well FS did another transvag. scan and he and DH spent ages trying to determine if a. they could see a pole b. something was pulsating the longer I lay there...the worse I felt, but kept it under wraps. FS said, I prefer to see what nature has in store, so I had another hcg today, results tom. and we have to wait till the 9th Dec for our next scan DH is really disappointed... as am I. we just wanted to 'enjoy it like normal people, not IVFers who've already been for 50 BTs and been invaded by so many people I've lost count.
Sorry girls, lost it there for a minute. Anyway...the ginger seems to have worked and the nausea has gone....almost wish it hadn't, cos it was a positive sign (can't please some folk hey!)
Right gonna go and chill out, go to bed as usual between 8.30 and 9pm. Sleep well ladies. x
oh airline im sorry hunny ,this train were on gets so bloody hard sometimes I KNOW 3x ivfs 2 x ectopics and 1 x fet later i feel your pain and know just were your at rite now many hugs coming your way.hang in there sweety im so thinking of you and dh xoxo
Hi Airline. Glad to hear you are still feeling sick IYKWIM! I do wonder if an IVFer died, whether an pathologist would immediately assume we are all mainlining herion, the amount of needle marks we must all have....
I have a few general questions for you all:
a) if you had MS, when did it stop?
b) when did you get big enough that you couldn't lie on your belly anymore?
c) when were you big enough that random people could tell?
d) when were you big enough that close friends could tell?
e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it?
f) Should I really be drinking prune juice? Never been constipated in my life and it sounds pretty horrid!!!
I look forward to the benefits of your wisdom. My babycentric fabulous diet is going v well, pizza last night.. oops hardly nutritous! Today is a new day, I will eat well and go for a swim... how are you all travelling? We had the fan on last night - it was wonderful. DH gave me an environmental lecture but it would appear that sleep outweighs conscience sometimes...
Airline -=- Sorry your having such a rocky start to being mum Hopefully they will be able to give you some good news on the 9th and the invasive tests we all know too well will fade off a bit! Keep your chin up <3 The early days are the hardest.. You never know whats going on..
Mitf -=- Congrats on your lil bean!! Hope everything goes smoothly for you so we can hear some encourageing news each week
afm-=- still not too many persies sorry.. Im just sortof trying to take it all in and get to know whos who and whats what before I go assuming in my responses
I had terrible morning sickness this morning (STILL) Im 18 weeks today and really thought it would have eased off by now, but silly me waited to long to eat something for breakfast and ended up over the sink while trying to make toast for my son And then the worst part is once I'd left it too long,, trying to fix it by eating something didnt work cuz it just had me headin back to the sink for another round.. Sorry if tmi haha
We didnt get the house Im feelin a lil bummed about that.. 3 months of searching for something worthwhile and its the first one that was worth even looking at. Then the jerks just went and gave it to someone else! We have a perfect rental and bond record and DH is in a steady job so I just cant think of a reason other then maybe they wanted someone without kids or a dog?? Kinda silly when you think that theres probably some single couple about to move into a 3 bedroom house plus study with a huge fenced backyard.. what a waste.. Or maybe im just assuming cuz im frustrated lol.
I hope everyone is feeling well this morning Sending good vibes to you all for a lovely day ahead
With my first I never got any.. at all, and took that for granted now that I know what its like!! This time around Im still getting it at nearly the halfway point.. BLARG
b) when did you get big enough that you couldn't lie on your belly anymore?
last time about 7 months, this time about 3 months
c) when were you big enough that random people could tell?
Last time about 7-8 months, this time 3 months LOL
d) when were you big enough that close friends could tell?
Last time around 5-6 months i guess, if i pulled up my shirt and got them to examine the bump from very close distances.. This time around 8 weeks
e) Did any of you find out the gender and regret it, or not find it out and regret it?
This question I like.. Last time I did find out I was having a boy.. I wouldnt say I regretted it persay- because I can look back and feel like I got the chance to bond with him as my son long before he was born. But at the same time, at the birth I might say I felt a little dissapointed that I found out because It took that element out of the moment he was born.. Not that it wasnt the most amazing moment of my life.. but i dunno i guess it was just like I already knew and there was no big surprise to welcome the end of all my efforts.. this time we're having a surprise and so far I dont regret it LOL and I dont think I will..
f) Should I really be drinking prune juice? Never been constipated in my life and it sounds pretty horrid!!!
Well no you dont HAVE to.. Constipation is a fibre thing and yes prune juice will definately help, any thing with alot of fibre will too Try eating lots of fruits and maybe buy some metomucil to drink (I think that one is safe for preggos) or get some sylium husks from a health food store and eat it on your cerial (cerials are high in fibre too) So theres alot of ways to go about it
