    Hello ladies,

I just couldnt help myself and had to dip my toes in here. Got my very first BFP today after 3.5 years and 9 IVF cycles, so naturally a little concerned as to what the next few weeks bring but very very excited all the same (probably an understatement ). All i did when the nurse told me the news was cry and cry and cry. I just thought that it was almost too good to be true to be pregnant this cycle, right before Christmas and with the crazy AF cramps i have had for the past three days but here i am. Levels are at 400 and something, cant remember exact number. We have our 7 week scan booked in for 30th Dec. Hopefully we see a very strong heartbeat, or two as we had two blasties transferred.

Looking forward to keeping a close eye on you all.

    Hi girls,
Thought I'd pop in and let you know I'm thinking of you all!

A huge congratulations to those who have recently become PG. Hope you have wonderful pregnancies. Enjoy the next step in your journey towards motherhood.

To all those lovely ladies still growing their little one/s since I last posted, you are all doing so well. It is so nice to see your tickers progressing, especially those of you already into your 3rd trimester. I can't wait to read about these new little bubs due in the coming weeks.

Life is busy with the twins. Our little ones are growing and changing so quickly. Days are like whirlwinds but awesome at the same time.

Take care and I'll be keeping an eye out in the thread for birth announcements!

Hi all, hope those bellies are doing well.

Poppy - I can give you advice for the pelvic pain. That is how I have been feeling from about 12 weeks. Drugs Drugs and more drugs. I also wear a brace to support my pelvis and stop it from moving. There are times when I cant walk. My Physio suggested getting DH to support my pelvis when I roll over at night. But liike I am going to wake him up everytime I want to roll over. DTD is almost unbearable. Had a little time to ourselves yesterday and I so could not move after. Not nice.

Green, I walked into the door at work the otherday without opening it and hit it with myu belly. I was really suprised at how hard my tummy was and how I just bounced off it. was giggling at myself, hope noone else saw mw.lol

AFM - five more days at work and one of those I am taking as a sick day. Yeah. Saw ob today and she seems to think he is going to smaller than DS so am still doing a little dance. Have scan at 34 weeks to check his growth and she will delivery anytime after 37 weeks so less than 8 weeks to go.

    Morning all!

Just popping in for a quick while I have an "early" breakfast...

to all the newbies, wishing you h & h pregs and we hope you enjoy your time with us

Grubby Bub: OUT!!! NOW!!! Time's up! Do I have to come in there and drag you out by the ear??? (Sorry just something my Dad used to yell at me through the bathroom door every morning, worked a treat every time )

Smithy: You poor thing, I can't believe you're still sick! Not much longer now hun. How's Coops going? Have you caught up to his belly yet?

Green: Oh yes, I keep forgetting that I need this extra room, every now and then I'll turn around in a shop just a little too quickly and wipe out a display LOL. My mother refuses to go shopping with me now cause I embarrass her hahahaha oh and getting plenty of dirty looks from furbaby too as my lap has shrunk and there's not quite enough room for her on it anymore with big belly in the way.

A big hi to everyone else!

AFM: not much else to tell. DH was lovely last night, came home after work and told me to sit down and put my feet up and he cooked dinner AND washed up afterwards! Woohoo!

Oh and mega embarrassing... completely forgot that the guy was coming yesterday to measure up for an insulation quote. Here's me answering the door in my nightie looking like something that's been dragged through the bushes backwards with a music DVD blaring in the background! Actually truth be told, I was wandering around with only undies on in the heat and the nightie was the nearest thing to grab when the doorbell rang so could have been a lot worse LOL

Oh and our cot arrived over the weekend, so now all the major stuff is here, just waiting for my Dad to paint the change table console and then we can start setting up the nursery!

Anyway hope you all have a great day... I'm gonna head back to bed see if I can catch another hour or so of zzz before the sun comes up!

hi girlies.. thanks for the vibes lol keep them coming! i thought i was having mild contractions last night and got thinking 'ooh maybe soon'. now i am feeling he's never coming out... DH laughed and told me it was a conspiracy to trick me to think I was pregnant and i would never actually give birth... and there's cameras in the house watching my reactions a bit like The Truman Show lol. MEN! that was sooooo helpful darling. who thinks of stuff like that lol.

hi boc - how exciting to get the furniture in!!! and good on your DH for being a good bloke... but he should be doing it all the time now IMO lol. i'm spoilt with my dh, he does the lion's share of the housework since i got preg and could barely get out of bed. it's great, but i do have to sneak behind him sometimes and 'fix' his man cleaning lol. enjoy your breakky!

YAY saph! how quick did that seem to go?? your last week will fly by love... then you'll be like me at home... waiting, waiting, waiting lol. At least Campbell will provide the entertainment for you lol.

KAYDEE!!! what a treat to have you pop by! I have thought about you since you left us with your bubs and wondered how you were travelling so glad all is well, if very busy, at your place lovely. ox

hi lilmiss - how are you? feeling well? things going okay?

lani - where you at GF?? lol.

airline - how are you going huny? i have fingers, toes and all sorts of other bits crossed for you tomorrow my darling. i really really really really want this for you guys.

PAULA - welcome aboard lady!!! i hope you find this forum supportive and helpful. I think it's so popular cos all the ladies here are so lovely, a little ccrraaaazzeee but just gorgeous.

sonyalouise - hi love, not sure if it's been suggested to you... but i found blackmores morning sick tablets the bomb. i still had nausea but not as bad as before i started them. otherwise keep snacking. sorry to hear you are struggling. It's funny how quickly you think "I would die for a baby'' to "omg what have i done, i think i AM going to die'' lol.

smithy - go the colour coordination lol. well i'm more boring than you cos i'm not sick constantly and still doing nothing! lol. finished another painting tho and started a funky little frog ooh ooh have to take furbaby to get her toenails clipped! beat that high pants lol.

MISS TANIA - glad you are well love. yes i've been sleeping lots... but not sure it's one of those things you can 'stock up' on lol. give your bubba a nice big raspberry on the belly for me... lol.

Green - those bottles sound lovely! what a sweet idea! and yep, further away from things is a real problem. it's hard on my back to wash up etc cos i can't reach... and if i eat my dinner on the lounge i tend to wear mostof it on the bottom of my belly cos it'll sit on my plate and i won't notice till i look in the mirror lol. my tummy ate damn-near half my pumpkin last night! so i have to check myself before leaving the house. lol. hope work is lfying by so you can kick back like you deserve.

good ot hear from you POPPY although that's no good about your dad and his evil wiff. but it's for your dad to sort out... good on you for standing up and saying 'enough is enough'. You have every right to control who is and is not in your life and you don't need toxic personalities... what your dad does is his call alone. It's sad he's struggling cos she's obviously manipulative, but at the end of the day - he married her, he's been told clearly what you guys think and it's his life. sorry if that sounds too harsh, but i think you have much more important things to put your energy into rather than this drama and woman! but i can't imagine how hard it is to watch your dad struggle

Love your DH doing the painting I did some silhoutted photos for dh when he was away. i really wanted to record the moment cos who knows if we'll get a 2nd bub. I"m sure i'll look back in 20 yrs time in disbelief of what my body did! and I'm a naughty mummy too... I don't realise i do it but apparently, according to DH, i say "oh eff it" under my breath ... a lot.

WOW - what a huge post! good on you grubby lol. you little gas bag! lol. Still here... hands are very swollen and so sore i could barely hold my tea cup this morning!!! that's like torture for me. Been sleeping heaps the last few days... am looking for ''signs'' of labour just like the TWW when i was looking for pregnancy 'signs' lol. Goign to try some visulasation, deep breaths and relaxation to try and let go of my stress, anxiety and need to control this.... then going to bounce on my fit ball like a crazy woman.

    COME ON BUBBA!!!!

good luck girls... seems a lot of people are scanning and testing and what not this week! oxoxoxoox

    Hi All,
Thought I would pop in and say hi.

It is really hard for me to keep up with this thread as I have mushy pregnancy brains but I will give it a go.

Grub- How funny is your DH. Every time I move or make a sound my DH says is it baby time. I wish. Thinking of you and sending you lots of labour vibes. Not long left now.

Boc – How sweet of DH to cook dinner and clean up. How funny about being in your nightie.

Saph - All seems well for you. Enjoy the last few days at work. Not long YAY!!!!

Kaydee - Great to hear from you, I am sure the twins are keeping you busy.

Lilmiss - Hope u are well and all is going great.

Airline – Wishing you all the very best for tomorrow. Everything is crossed that all is good.

Paula welcome. I hope you find this forum very supportive. I have found everyone to be lovely. Great news for you after what seems like it would have been a long journey. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy.

Sonyalouise – Hope u are feeling better. I was lucky and didn’t get very much MS at all but I was told salt n vinegar anything, chips, rice crackers etc.

Smithy – Hope all is going well, not long left till you will be holding Charlie. Hope you are not feeling too bad.

Miss Magpie- Great to hear from you and hope you are well! Hope Trent is behaving himself and being a good little boy for mummy.

Greenslw – The bottles sound very sweet. I hear you on having to be further away from things, I cannot wait till I can eat dinner at the table and not 3ft away from it. Not long to go now.

Poppy- I hope you are able to sort your dramas out. Nothing like a family drama when you least need it. I hope everything works out for you xxx

Well I hope I haven’t missed anyone and I am really sorry if I have.

AFM- I have tried everything to bring this labour on curry, chilli, sex, reflexology, walking, I need to get a fit ball and start bouncing on that. That can be on today’s shopping list. I have my OB appt tomorrow to see what is happening and I am sure he will discuss induction if labour doesn’t commence. I am just not sure how long I want to wait to see if labour starts itself.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    to everyone.

Hello all. Blimey, I'm away for five minutes, and you're all on here!

Quick one - Lani and Grub. Two things, if you make a curry and then freeze it, it will get hotter and that might do the trick. Some women in rural india rub chillis up their 'Proverbial' to bring on labour but I think that's going a bit far personally Mum tells me that she was a week late and had to drink a pint of cod liver oil mixed in orange juice to bring me on, but this was the early seventies in the scottish borders, so I hope they have more technological methods than this now!!! Sounds like a recipe for the trots, never mind a baby.

We've just had our second scan. We got an extra one at 8 and a bit weeks (because of the miscarriage last time) and it was super. Arms and legs - well paddle like wafty things - check. Head, check. Looks more like a baby than an alien now... which is nice
FS gave me a massive lecture about not already booking in for the birth - yeah gods, I'm only 8 weeks! So I need to do that on Friday. Seems an awful long way off. We're going to tell a few people this weekend, but a sort of 'cautious' list.

I hope you are all well and happy. Saph - sorry your pelvis is in such a bad way. It sounds truly excrutiating. I hope it eases sometime soon. Hello and belly rubs to all xx

    Thanx grub *hug*
Yes! We applied for that wonderful house I was talking about earlier.. There were about 30 other applicants (and no im not exaggerating either!) So its very possible we wont be the lucky ones to get picked,BUT keeping in mind we have a flawless record and good pay a perfect tenant ledger and a written reference from our last property manager Id say we still have a shot (you know at least as much as whoever else has all those things which Im sure is plenty of them lol) but hey, we find out today so fingers crossed anyway.. If not, we'll have to stay here over christmas and pick up looking again in the new year.. Which will suck but at least we have a home for christmas, must look at the bright side..

Wish me luck anyway.. But more importantly, Im feeling really nervous about the scan tomorow.. Im sure my mind is just picking out the worst possible outcomes and making me stress about them for the mere sake of stressing.. even though everything is most likely fine! We wont be finding out the sex from the US.. and we're going to make it threateningly clear we dont want to know or have any accidental hints like "hes looking quite healthy!" Or "there's her head, her legs, her arms.. etc" But at the same time we've decided to play our own little guessing games by looking at it ourselves, knowing full and well we wont have a clue what we're looking at

Sorry for the lack of persies... I get overrtaken so easily on here and lose my grounds on whats going on hehehe.. There are so many of you and its so fantastic to be able to pop on whenever I can and get all the goss.. But right now replying to it all is a little beyond me *forgiveness please* But ill be sure to putt a big effort in soon Wish me luck with both my pending possibilities, and Ill talk to you all soon xxoo
