    Morning Girls,

Well just poppoing in to get a check of who is actually in here atm

Grub, Boc, Saph, Kaydee, Lilmiss, Airline, Paula, Sonyalouise, Smithy, Miss Magpie, Greenslw and Poppy. Did I miss anyone. Hope your pregnancies are coming along well.

Laniwantsababy try some rasberry leaf, I have heard it is supposed to help. Personally I think it will happen when its time, also get DH to take you for a drive along a bumpy road, now I do know that helps put me into labor with DS funny thing is thats not why we were there lol.

AFM - I am 5 1/2 weeks now woohoo and booked in for U/S next Friday, but wondering whether if I ring clinic if they can do it sooner. I am busting to know if there are 1 or 2. Not sleeping that wellm as I keep waking up from the weirdest dreams. LOL. I have dreamt of every scenario just want to hear a heart beat and know that it's / they are ok. DH says I am so impatient, like I told him just very nervous. How early have others had there U/S done?

Anyway hope you all have a great day. Keep those buns cooking in the oven. xxx to everyone.

hey rob, they can't do it too early cos they need to see the pole, hb etc. we were supposed to have ours at 6 weeks but the way it worked out it was closer to 7... nearly killed me with waiting! good luck with it lovely. how exciting!

lani - we are channeling each other... now if you go inot labour because of one of those wives tales get back on here ASAP and share your method! we've tried all that too except the bumpy road, but i figure fitball does the same And i'm on raspberry leaf tea tablets but they help smooth out the cervix and can help with more effecient contractions, not so much to bring labour on... but you never know!

we also have ob appnt tomorrow where i'll be cornering her re induction. this close to chrissy is getting on my stress levels. let us know how you go!

so the race is on Lani! You and me lady. who will make it first lol??? how exciting... take care of yourself and good luck.

Thanks rob. I have tried the raspberry leaf tea tablets which I have been taking for the last 4wks.

May need to go for a bumpy drive.

I had my u/s at 6wks3days. If u go any earlier u may only see the egg and sac but no heartbeat, try and wait as long as possible. It's not that long now. How exciting wishing u all the best xx

Grub I am hearing u with being so close to Christmas. I don't want this bub to miss out on it's birthday cause everyone is tied up with Christmas.

What are your thoughts on induction etc how long over do u want to go before u let them intervene?

The race is on. Sounds like we are both trying all the remedies.

I am going to my inlaws tonight for dinner and MIL said she will make curry. She wants this baby to come too.

I am planning on having a relaxing day at home today may even go and get a DVD to watch.

Just a quick post for Lani and Grub about induction... Not lecturing but a normal pregnancy in nature is considered to be 42 weeks and you are more likely to get closer to this if it is your first bub... It's only Dr's need to have control that they put the 40week limit on it... If you can wait it is sooo much better to let your little one choose it's birthday because of the complex hormones that are produced to help labour if you do... Induction can also lead to a more painful and longer labour... HTH and I say this to help not to hinder... Keep trying the natural ways and I hope your little ones are here soon for the sake of both your sanity and bodies... good luck gorgeous ladies as I look forward to hearing that labour has started...

To everyone else I promise to be back for persies a little later.. Life is a little manic at the moment...

Thanks for the advice lilmiss. I really do hope we can avoid induction and let this all happen naturally.
