Kyra - Hope you get some rest in all this! Try and take it easy if you can.
Londonmiss - welcome to a 'normal pregnancy'!!!! I remember too feeling bereft of intervention once I was pregnant. After years of operations, injections, drugs, blood tests, dildo cam , monitoring, 'bad news bad news bad news' it is difficult to accept that they are just going to let things go naturally!!! I felt dropped by the medical profession. Dumped even!!! Still remember my disbelief at my first antenatal when all the midwife told me to do as my 'care plan' was to eat well and remember to take my thyroid meds!!! What!!???? Surely there was something she could stick up me or poke into me???? Surely she would be scheduling a long list of appointments??? But yes in the early days there are long waits between visits and scans etc.
Lovely about your reaction from home! We have already warned the in-laws that this baby is going nowhere near a Wigan Athletic kit!!! I actually crocheted a jumper recently for the baby and only when I was halfway through it I realised that it was in the Wigan colours!!! LOL! Although my FIL did point out that the stripes were the wrong way around. Thank God!!! We have promised them though that my father is not going to get Everton stuff for the baby so they are happy enough with that now!
Smithy - I am still trying to look at your pics but my computer is sooo slow and playing up. Will try again today! Congrats on 31 weeks!
Greenslw - jealous of you getting to dress up and go out!!! A shawl sounds lovely. You will look like Angelina Jolie on the red carpet. Very elegant!!!
Wantbaby - glad you feel a little less stressed. Sounds like things are on track though if your symptoms are the same.
Grub - I love the RLT too!! I think I might step it up to two cups a day now! 6 cups is good in the last weeks though so go for it!!!! Hopefully grubbybub spontaneously begins labour before you need induction!
AFM - my blood pressure is going up. It is not too high for your normal person but it is rising for me with my usually very low pressure. DH is angry with my family for stressing me out. I spent today sleeping and pottering about town trying not to think about all the stuff going on. I even went into a cafe and had baked beans on toast as a treat! I would normally not do that as we cannot afford to eat things out that we can make at home, but I like sitting in the cafe and even better not having to do the dishes! Simple pleasures!!! I also had fun listening to people talking in there. I love the accent around here and could listen to it forever. Funny to think my little boy may have that accent too!!! There will be a bit of an Aussie accent though from me!!!
The wicked witch.....sorry stepmother, has called my sister-in-law saying she doesn't want anything to do with any of us at all! Funny how she has twisted it around to it being HER decision!! LOL! Have to laugh!!
poppy fairy -=- Your stepmother sounds alot like my mum.. always causing drama, never wrong, and always getting her way.. just ignore her completely, its not worth the hassel.. And by the sunds of it, she wont be around much later anyway I know what you mean about eating out.. Its not always the food, but the atmosphere, and that lifted feeling of not being responsible for the mess, something Im sure would be helping with the whole feeling to huge tired and sore atm..
Smithy -=- HAPPY 31 WEEKS!! Itd have to be a good feeling.. your so close now! Im excited for you too
possums -=- Hey! Thanx for the well wishes and hopeing for a nice lil addition for you in 2010
wantbaby#2 -=- So good to see your not stressing so much now. There are some really beautiful baby things around isnt there! Im looking forward to getting settled in our new house so I can look through what we have bought and get clucky about it as I set it up all cute looking in the new nursery! I think its sweet that you believe your having a girl, and that DH thinks its a boy.. I wish I could be that sure (you know, without knowing ) because we just keep changing our minds about what we think ours is
AFM -=- Finally getting a break We got so much done yesterday we are actually a bit ahead, so I dont have to do any packing or driving around and unpacking this morning, not until late this afternoon we'll be starting up again.. So I had a wonderfull sleep last night as we managed to finish by 9. and DS had a more regular day nap yesterday too so he went to sleep easy as soon as we got home (I bathed him at the new place while DH unpacked) So wakeing up this morniing at 8 instead of 4:30 for him felt great, and knowing I can just relax for most of the day..
The removalists come on monday to move over all the big things and furniture so from then we can start living there! We should have everything small we need over there by then and get started on cleaning this place (fun not)
Hope everyone is doing well! I didnt notice any kicks yesterday just because I was so busy with everything to pay to much attention.. So this morning when I still hadnt felt any I was feeling lonely, and all of a sudden I got a big boot from jelly bean which gave me a big smile <3
kyrawolfe oh hun DS has a strong spirit doesn't he. Wow moving MONDAY
Londonmiss wow you are a machine, can you come to my house
Poppyfairy, thanks for the vote of confidence cos I feel more like a santa! without the double chin. and white hair! If going out for lunch keeps your BP down and your stress at bay it's worth every cent! and I'm sure DH would agrea. Glad you are listening to your body and having a rest day.
ATM the house is MINE!!!!!! no boys! and I'm having a chai late, and just relaxing! all the washing is done, all I need to do is hop in the shower this afternnon and pull on my dress and head out. I've got my fingers crossed for my buddy she rang me last night and said she wont be drinking tonight! She was pg a couple of months ago and I don't even want to say it but but but..... I think....... I hope.......... might be some good news to come in the new year. For a number of selfish and other reasons I hope so it would be nice to share that with someone. I was so sad when she mc'd.
She is so brave came to my Baby Shower and really looked happy (maybe glwoing even) now I'm getting ahead of myself but am so hopeful.

everyone else a big hello this beautiful saturday labour vibes for the girls again ...actually were are you both larni and grub HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lani - you put us all to shame! I've just walked the dog for an hour and I'm shattered and I'm only 9 weeks!
I'm celebrating, last time I had a miscarriage at precisely 9 weeks. So today is a big 'date' for me, I'm so pleased to get this far. I'm still terrified of course, I had a stabbing pain this morning, and automatically think the worst is happening, but I need to focus on all the things that are better - e.g. got a heartbeat etc. Anyway, I'm happy to get to nine weeks and one day.
Kyra - hope the rest of your move goes ok x
Poppy - your MIL sounds like she should be sectioned! ha ha on the wigan athletic kit, that's funny, esp you doing the right colours. Funny what people's first reactions are, my cycling mad father asked how old a child would be before it got a bike! My mother in law and I have already had a minor altercation when she found out our baby would be vegetarian too - I can see that is going to be a 18 year battle. Someone asked me yesterday point blank if their daughter was going to be a godmother - which I thought was rather extraordinary.
Anyway, I didn't come on here to ramble, I came to see if Lani or Grub had popped, and how everyone else is. So hello all! xx
