Just a short one from me, won't attempt too many persies today.

Grub: Still sending evac vibes, hopefully it's today or tomorrow. Glad you got some monitoring done, I love the staff at NPH birthing suite, they didn't make me feel at all stupid when I went in either.

Smithy: Thank you soooo much for the bacon muffin craving... although must admit I'm happy you're able to eat well!

Kyra: Glad the move is going so well. And glad DS has worn himself out & given you a much-needed break!

Saph: sorry about the BH, I've been getting a fair few too. Hope you get some rest soon.

LM: YAY! Congrats on 9 weeks! GLad you can finally start celebrating!

Hmmmm... Lani is a bit quiet... perhaps there's movement at the station???

AFM: Still plodding along. Had another rough night and was just laying down to nap when DH came home from golf and put on his best Baby Elephant impression, crashing all over the house have spent the last hour on the lounge with him watching golf on TV and Cookie has been going hyper! Heaps of kicking and rolling, but then stopped when I left the room... oh dear! Please please PLEASE tell me I'm not going to get stuck with TWO golf nuts in the house!

Went to a Xmas party last night up the street and while we were walking home (or DH rolling home ) I could clearly feel a spine jutting out of my lower belly, could feel all the verterbrae... very freaky indeed! Reminded me of scenes from "Alien"

Anyway hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Sunday! :bellyrub: to you all and labour vibes to our two mummies-in-waiting!

Smithy alone time is so so so nice.

Lani 4 hours shopping OMG you are a much stronger woman than me.

Londonmiss so glad you made it through your milestone.

grub. I don't know if I could do my DH work do in another 5 weeks you did well.

Poppyfairy: hope you got all those tiny cloths washed can't wait till next weekend my turn

Saph don't know if this may help but I layed on my left side last night with a 'warm' not 'hot' heat pack under my belly at the front it was so nice really helped my BH

Kyrawolfe are you all moved in?

BOC how cool to feel the spine.

Well I survived the DH work do too. It was very amusing seeing all the drunk ppl. We got home around 12.30 too. It was a good night and my friend is pg again. I new it now it's a waiting game, last time she told the world at 7 weeks this time she's waiting till 12-16. I guess that's the down side of mc it takes a bit of the fun out of those early weeks.

I really hope it works out for her.

DH has finished the painting! so in with the bi carb to remove the smell and next weekend it's my time, time to make it pretty. can't wait.

Well it's 4 weeks of work to go and I am really starting to feel like this is all real. Also baby is on my bladder! every hour or so. even at night. bugga.

    Morning Girls,

I am still here waiting. However, I lost my mucus plug last night so hopefully things are starting to progress for me. I am that I may be in silent labour and my body is doing the early hard work without me knowing. Wishful thinking.

I have ob appt today so will let u all know if anything happens.

DH n I went for a drive to Wollongong yesterday and took some belly shots at the beach and then had lunch and went for a walk. It was a lovely day out. Probably our last one on our own just the 2 of us.

Hope everyone is taking care of their growing little bundles.

Grub any movement in the station for you?

Morning all. Hurrah hurrah hurrah, dog slept all night, as did I.

Just a quick question: the BH contractions, and the pubic bone thing. When did they start and how bad are they?

Hi Grub and Lani, how's the race going? Sounds like Lani is ahead by a nose. Very exciting!!!!

Just letting you know that I have put a few more photos on my facebook link. I really wanted to put on some limited edition photos of my birth outfit for you Grub and then I would have taken them straight down. They're very embarrassment but fun to share with other dags! they are in the same league as photos my mum took of me getting changed for my wedding standing in my passion killers (you know the gorgeous tummy tucking shorts). Anyhoo my photos are on DHs computer and he's away so you miss going to your birth calm place with me in my reggies! The get up for the caesarian involves disposie robe, compression stockings that end at the armpits! Oh and the jox that look like they belong on your head. You'll just have to imagine til I can put them up,but they won't be there long.

At the moment, I'm soaking nappies, waiting to hang washing and going into town to buy more nappies. Psychology exam...what is that? I deferred it until next month and have tried to get back into study but life is just a wee bit different and I only study the bits that relate to Jazzy...audiology, development, etc. care factor is slightly less than zero at the moment.

DH has 1 month left of his PhD scholarship and then we are both jobless...argghhh. he has lined up an interview as a kayak tour guide (taking be-socked, be-sandalled german tourists paddling around the reef). Just a bit of a cushy thing to bring in some money while looking for serious work. In Feb, he goes to America to present all his research at a conference and then it's all over. the research equipment goes back to townsville today, the work ute goes back to Atherton tomorrow, all the field work in the rainforest is over and after 4 years, finally the rotten statistics and thesis writing (at least for this project) are behind him. Another job prospect may be a pig research project which is so far up his alley and will keep us based in FNQ...yay!

Smithy, I checked your photos and am really jealous that you did the belly cast. I would have so loved to do that, but never thought to just go the cheaper option like you described. I just saw the flash over the top ones offered in shops and never thought twice about it. Bugger. anyway, can't wait to see what you do with it. cute belly.
