    Thanks Smithy,
I love the one near the flowers too. Funny how the most unplanned things sometimes work the best. I picked the flowers for my sister's b'day and just intended on sending her a virtual bunch as a photo on my phone (cheap skate, it's not quite interflora hey?). anyway, I walked past Jazzy's basinette and just thought to put the flowers next to her and at the very moment I took the photo with my phone, she turned her head so her nose was inthe rose. So Anne Geddes, I aint, but I had my moment. Just spewing I didn't use my real camera as it's poor quality and I want to frame it.

murph! my mate. i love it when you talk dirty... pigs, rainforest, reef, work utes... ahhhh the smell of FNQ. and why don't you love your teddies? lol. I had a hugemongous tumour from my ovary removed a few years ago and becaome very very friendly with my teddies... so did dh who had to help me put them on, that I actually kept them for months afterwards lol.

I agree, it's that darn Wantsababy by a nose in the baby race lol. Doc did a stretch and sweep today which has a 50% success rate of bringing on labour. so if that doesn't work we are back for monitoring on weds and they'll probably induce late this week or early next. somee concern bout fluid levels still.

    keybord playing up... aarrghhh
back later hope with news or concession speach t Lani

Grub and Lani I am sending you lots of LABOR vibes too

LondonMiss BH for me started at around 32 week and pubic bone thing from about 8 weeks. Although I have had more pain in my back my physio says you normally get one or the other.

Hi Murph can't believe you tried to study so soon after jazzy. The tour guide things sounds nice and non stressful. Hope all is going well

Grub a stretch and sweep that sounds very interesting

Today I am a zombie...................... I woke up at 2.30am and didn't get back to sleep. BH are annoying my hips are out and DH is a bed hog! I went to my physio so hopefully the back is better tonight but wow baby is active. Hasn't really settled for longer than an hour all day.

I phoned the builder from next door (who broke my fence and down pipe) and got nowhere so out came the pg hormones and I rang his boss. Empowered! I even pulled the pg card. Last night when I couldn't sleep I kept hearing the fence bang and it made me angrier every time. Bloody neighbours, I only let them in my yard to save her some money and this is the thanks I get. I phoned her and she told me "it's not my problem" NEVER AGAIN!

On a happier note its my Managers xmas party tomorrow it's a surprise all day. I can't wait, good to be human again for a while.

    Good afternoon girls,

Just popping in quickly before my little man wakes up for a feed!

Want to wish Grub LOTS and LOTS of luck. We have been through our journeys together from the beginning One by one we are having our precious little angels. Hope you little one arrives soon. Take care and am thinking of you.

To all my other lovely ladies, Greenslw, Smithy, BDT, BOC, Saph and all the new ladies, a BIG hug and belly rub

Trent will be 6 weeks on Wednesday, how time has FLOWN! He has been a bit unsettled as he has coelic which is very painful for him at times. I feel so helpless when he is crying in pain. Im still b/f although he gets topped up with formula after every feed too but I am persisting. My little man is a GUTS, hehe He weighed in at 4.2kgs at his 4 week check up We love him dearly and he is the best Christmas present ever. I still stare at him and cant believe I have a baby. Its such a dream come true.

Take care girls and look forward to following your progresses

Hi Girls.Would love to write to you all personally but as im still new here,i tend to forget all the names by the time i get to the 'reply' button..LOL.Silly me.
Am hoping everyone is doing well.
Hoping too that the 2 ladies who are ready to have their little bundles, have a quick delivery without much pain....im sure drugs are needed to have a baby without pain though.hehe.
I remember having the gas with my son 12 yrs ago and it was fantastic.
Tomorrow is my first scan and i will be 7 weeks.I am so nervous but excited too!
Im praying so hard that all is well and hopefully with my fingers and toes crossed that there will be a nice strong heartbeat.I have started to feel slight nausea in the past 3-4 days and the smell of some foods are making me queasy. My breasts have become tender and are now being covered in a multitude of blue veins.Im still weeing heaps too.
Im also still doing hpt every few days. They are still coming up nice dark lines, instantly.I know i sound paranoid dont i?
My hubby will be coming with me so he is excited too.
I will let you know how it goes....aaahhh butterflies in my tummy already, just thinking about it.

    Hello All,

Hope everyone is taking care of themselves.

This is going to be a little bit of a selfish post for an update on myself.

I had my appt with my ob today and I am going into hospital tomorrow morning at 6am for induction unless I go overnight myself. He did an internal and things have started on their own but he said hospital tomorrow. As bub was estimated 4kgs last week he doesn't want it to get any bigger.
Please don't put anything on facebook about me being in hospital as we have only told our parents and no-one else as I don't want to be harassed in hospital tomorrow.

However, since getting home from the OB appt I have had some light bleeding and am having mild contractions about 10mins apart but they are only lasting about 15sec.
I am very excited but also feeling a little scared.
This time tomorrow hopefully I will be holding my bundle of joy.

Grub I hope it is not to far off for you. and sending you lots of positive labour vibes.

    to everyone

Lani - hope all goes well and it's just as you planned it. Very very best of luck for tomorrow. Grub - good luck with your sweep and progress from here. I know you both have much better things to worry about than BB, but let us know how it went and post a pic when you can xx

Want baby - hello and welcome. I can't get signed up with the hospital without a letter, which I can't get without another scan, so I'm having an additional scan in three weeks time, but just got told we won't get the results for three weeks. So I'm not sure what you do about telling people - not tell the world until 15 weeks I guess? That seems so frustrating. Then we have a hospital scan at 15 weeks, but I thought you can't tell gender until 17 weeks so do you get another one then?? I wonder sometimes if it would be quicker to create a list of people in Melbourne who haven't had a look up my wotsitw with a scanner, than those who have (not for naughty reasons I hasten to add!!!)

    Lani so excited for you.

A question for those who are having their second, third or however many baby. Have you done any birthing classes this time, it has suddenly dawned on me that maybe I need a refresher. I still haven't even done a tour of the hospital, maybe I should book that one at least then I will know where to go.

Smithy - what did you do when your ticker was losing days. I wouldnt mind if they were going forward but to make it longer is my worst nightmare.

AFM - I packed babies hospital bag today. Opened the nappies OMG they are so small. Still need to do mine

sory saph can't help from personal experience but i know our hospy midwives recommend 2nd timers to do the course again. things change and you forget i think was the gist. but only if you feel you need it i suppose. and lol, the nappies... everything is small tho!

lani - well tday should be your day love. thinking of you and good luck!

good luck wantababy how exciting. let us know how it all goes.

    hi LM!

thanks so much miss lovely tania for dropping and sharing with us some of your joy. I still can't believe i'll have a baby by christmas. i told DH to wrap the bub up and put him under the tree for me lol... or at least tell my gullible mum that is what he's going to do so i can laugh my ass off at her reaction.

greenslw - what do you mean the party is a surprise? and did you get the fence sorted?

Boc - hows you? this cool weather is soooo nice hey! lol.

kyra - hope your move is going well love and ds is adjusting.

Poppyfairy - hows it all going over there? any progress for your dad lately?

smithy - how is your sickness going thesedays? you seem to be a bit better since your hospy trip some time ago. I like your belly cast.

murph - i didn't mention how gorgeous jazzy is! she is just devine love.

seph - you haven't popped in for ages? how are you going?

    lise- you still here love??

HI to all the girls i've missed please let us know what you are up to. you don't have to do a huge persie list everytime but i know I do like to hear from you all and what's happening in your life.

Well the keyboard is working now! I think i've been losing my plug since my s&s yesterday and have been having very mild, irregular contractions. Was sssooo hopeful last night would be it but nope! again I just wake up now and say to dh 'no baby'. Starting to think bub doesn't want to meet us!!! DH reckons its cos i've done such a good job keeping bubba safe and warm that he doesn't want to come out heeehee.

anyhoo, bub really only has 24 hrs left to make his own entrance cos after tomorrow's monitoring i'm pretty sure i'll be booked for an induction. Apparently this time of year is very fully booked for 'social inductions' as everyone due at christmas books to have bubs before then... But our doc said cos of the fluid levels, which are quite low, and given we are now overdue, we have the ''medical reasons'' trump card and will bummp someone, which i was relieved to hear.

anyhoo, they will try breaking my waters first and then put me on a very low dose of the syno drip. I apparently am beyond the gel now cos my cervix is soft and opening... so things ARE happening at least.

I feel very disheartened at the moment and that i'll be making that appointment tomorrow Even the doc seemed surprised to see us yesterday. I really really want that "hollywood moment'' when i say to DH "it's time, my waters broke'' or such. This might be our only chance and I don't want it to be all medical, like we had to do to get him!

okay whinge and whine of a 'heavily pregnant' woman now over.

thanks for all your vibes girls... and again GOOD LUCK LANI!!!

lani and Grub - wishing you both all the very best and hoping you get the dream labours you want and so deserve!

Still here, still no computer so although I do check several times a day I'm afraid at the moment I'm a bit of a lurker...

Very happy week for DH and I - I'm now 12 weeks pregnant and our scan is tomorrow!! As soon as we've seen it's all good we FINALLY get to shout it to the rooftops. Am so very excited, I feel like I can finally let my guard down a little. Of course I know we're a long way from actually holding our baby yet but I never thought I'd get this far so definitely s time of celebrations in our house!!

Anyway, love and belly rubs to all, hope everyone us travelling well.

    love lise xx
