I'm here girls, thank you for thinking of me today. Unfortunately no real answers to the problem. The doc basically said because everything was ok at my appt last week, the swelling has eased and this being the first time it's happened, it may be a one-off so I've been told to take it easy and get lots of rest. But if it happens again to call them straight away. So I've been laying around this afternoon. Still feeling a little off and my back is killing from laying around but I'm hanging out to 9:30pm for a hot shower, some panadol & bed for the night! If I still feel bad tomorrow I'll call again.

Just want to say thank you again for thinking of me! You lovely ladies give me warm fuzzies. I hope everyone else is well. Chat to you all soon. Goodnight!

    Hi all
    BOC glad things are ok.
I had my first day as a stay at home mum ( not really I have never worked on mondays but it is the first day of the holidays) and I am ready to go back to work. DS was a pain and I was in pain so bad combination. Oh the joys of 3 year olds. Physio tomorrow. DH is coming to learn how to tape up my butt as my brace is just not enough on its own anymore. This is about as close to anything getting physical that he is going to get. Wednesday is my first DS free day. I have left him in daycare until school starts again around when the baby will be born. So I am off to get my hair done and then to watch new moon will the car gets new tires. Yeah for me so looking forward to it.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

Hey BOC - just make sure you keep a close eye on everything. My sister had severe pre-eclampsia at 24 weeks and I was diagnosed with it right at the very end of my pregnancy - didn't find out until I was in labour.

The only thing that I had that was probably a sign was severe swelling of my feet and hands that came and went. OB said that my blood pressure was fine. However, my sister has since told me that your blood pressure can be swinging around the place, so in my case I may have had blood pressure that was going up and down - it just didn't happen to be up when it was being measured by the OB.

I don't want to scare you or anything, I just want to advise of my experience - I really wouldn't want anyone else to go through it as you feel so sick. So please make sure you call your OB if you have any symptoms return. It is far better if you get diagnosed with it as soon as possible as they can just manage your blood pressure and keep a closer eye on you.

Good luck - hopefully it is just pregnancy odema and nothing else!

BOC -=- Glad everything is ok.. What a scare.. I really hope that doesnt happen again and maybe it was just a one off bout of your body having had enough

Saph -=- Oh dont you love being at home all day with toddlers! Im a full time SAHM and I only get tuesdays (today ) off when my son goes to kindy, Im planning on makeing that two days a week when I start to get a bit big and fed up hahaha... Im going to be a SAHM for both of them up until DS is in school and bub to be is around 2 n half. I think that'll be about as much as my sanity will handle! Then Ill be looking at going back to work for sure! 3 is such a full on age.. but then you get so used to being with them you stress when they go to day care.. lol cant win!

AFM -=- still fighting off this yukky flu! DS's tonsilightus is alot better! hes been quite happy to be his non stop little self all day yesterday so i decided he could go to kindy today.. and give me a much needed break.. which unfortunately ill need to clean the humongous mess being sick for two days has left (dishes, toys, clothes, toys, clothes, dishes....) lol

Hope everyone is well and enjoying thre little belly belly kicks and bulges

ROB~I guess thats true,...we get used to disappointments.its sad really, because we should be positive.I mean,we have been blessed so far and why shouldnt things go well for us?I talk to my baby every day and have been praying like crazy since the egg transfer.(Im not overly religious but find this helps comfort me).
looking at your time line,we are at the same stage. My ticker is one day ahead but i cant be bothered changing it.Regarding your scan, when was yours and was the baby the right size?Mine was 3 days out but my dr said an abdomonal scan can be slightly inacurate as far as measuring crl.I had mine at 6 weeks 6 days but bub was measured to be 6 weeks 3 days.

BOC~I think you should definately get it checked out.you can never be too careful.Hope its all o.k though and hope the swelling goes down.xx

Woke this morning with backache which is kind of annoying.Other than that, all seems well.Have changed my mind about what i think im having....i think its a boy now.My face in the past 3 days has broken out and i could do a commercial for clearasil !!! My skin was awful when i was carrying my son.All of my symptoms are the same actually.
Ive heard that when you carry a girl, you get really bad ms and i hardly have any, again.
Wantababy I had mine at 6wks 4days and they said it was the size of 5wks 4 days. But that the sac was the size for 6wks 4 days. Like the sonographer said, you cant really get IVF dates wrong lol.

xxxROBxxx~ I went through ivf with my pregnancy and not sure of the sac size but the bub measured 3 days smaller. The sac looked huge compared to the baby inside but they didnt say anything regarding to sac size.
