hi girls. i have 20 mins til my next feed/express session and haven't had time to read all the posts properly.

but wanted to jump on and let you now i've been thinking of you all. and welcome Seachange on this amazing journey! good luck love!!!

Boc and smithy - i hope you are both well and Poppyfairy - nearly time love!

i'll try and post a link but it's highly likely it won't work. otherwise i'll see if i can put a pic on the BB album.

anyhoo - all is well. Yes its ASHTON not asthon.. if i wrote it backward lol whoops! tired eyes would be to blame. We are still having latching issues with the BF. he's been on a few times but now i'm home i can't get him on myself. But i'm still trying and we are seeing a lactation consultant... it's just hard with christmas. But i'm trying to get my supply going now so am expressing every 2 hrs.

well best go i've still got to sort out the bottles and pump i've just sterilised. yawn.

Despite the hours and the trouble i'm having getting BF going - i'm loving being a mum. it's too much fun.. and these babies, they are hilarous with their little faces and cries and expressions. DH and I keep laughing at Ashton when he cries, he gets a little quivering bottom lip lol.

thinking of you all will be back in soon (i hope) ox

Just jumping in so I can keep updated on you all.

Welcome to the world of mummy Grub and so happy you are home for Xmas. I hope the b/fing comes along for you and that the lactation consultant can help get Ashton all sorted to know what he is suppose to do. Don't you just love the expressing, I found it took ages and ages and for me still didn't get my supply up (it was all gone by the time Tara was 3 weeks).

Poppy: Take care with the weather over there at the moment. Hopefully it is a brief bad spell and will be all gone by the time you need to get to hossy.

Big Xmas belly rubs to you all and to all the new first time mum's, enjoy this first special Xmas with your special bundles. We are so excited that Santa is coming to our house.. and to all our mum's still cooking beautiful bub's before you know it they will be here and you will have all the joys next Xmas.

Boc~ You missed my name on the list I am a 2010 mummy too.My bub is due Aug 4 and have nicknamed him Bub...HOW ORIGINAL AM I ?? LOL

Grub....aaaawwww he sounds adorable....with the quivering lip.I can imagine it now.So sweet.I had lots of trouble bf my son and gave up 2 weeks later.I ended up with severe mastitis so i had too and he wasnt getting enough anyway so we went to bottles.I think it was so hard but im sure you will get there.I was in too much pain. I plan on bf this bub as 12 years has made me more determined to do things better.I had Connor when i was only 19 so everything seemed so much scarier and more difficult.I didnt have the patience then, that i have now. Best of luck.Im so glad your are loving all of the special moments.I cant wait to experience mine.

    Hi girls,

Awwww Grub! He sounds too cute for words!

Ummmmm, is it wrong that I want to have a nap at 9am? Cant believe how tired i am getting. I have breakfast then i want to sleep! I would go for a walk or something but the pelvic pain has put a stop to that

anyway, just wanted to check in and say hi while i have the chance.

    Hugs to all!

Just a quick one for Grub...

Congratulations on the wonderful arrival of the little Grubby Bub

ahh, you corrected yourself before I could be a smart (well, Grub) When I read the name as Asthon, I thought, no you wouldn't give me that much amunition, it was just too easy You know what I mean. I thought you might have snuck a bit of the pethadine after all.

in all seriousness, I got back from Townsville and was sooooo anxious to follow your progress and I read and skipped through everything to read your story. Oh man I was in tears with you on that low day you had and felt like you were dreading the experience I had. Though you put a positive spin on it, it was heartbreaking to read you were so sad. i bawled my heart out for all the same things the first chance I got. we couldn't be together at home for 7 days and it really was hard for me being in hospital and DH just visiting. DH had to take on everything and then for another 6 weeks post-op and post baby pretty much. I'm so glad you got your big happy birth experience and everything went to plan with your lovely man being home. I can see both you and his Daddy in him. Your lips definitely. I don't have to tell you to enjoy...you will
