poppy - oh that sounds awfully dramatic love. must have been pretty disappointing to find out it wasn't labour... but it'll happen soon enough me thinks. Yes, that is coming from the woman who couldn't even handle being 4 days over! lol. oh the hindsight!

Paula - that is just fabulous news love!!! congrats to you and DH!

BOC - hope he comes to his senses. Men have some very strange ideas but remember, they are scared of us

Murph - i'm in awe of that multi tasking. I still sit rigidly still while feeding Ash for fear of screwing it up lol. soon i'll be doing the macarena, the dishes,, cleaning the toilet and feeding all at once

greenslw - i hope it works out for you with the work situation. get some rest and just take each day as it comes, you can't do much more than that lovely. do take care of yourself and take a break when you need it - no point trying to be a hero... you are, after all, a very preggy lady! rest and slackness is mandatory!

saph - the fourth of the second.. what a nice round number for a birthday! hope you enjoy this last little while before bub arrives and good on you for standing firm regarding what YOU want with visitors at the hospy.

ash is stirring but all is well here. finally BF full time now.. so glad to be off the expresser! He was sooo good for new year's, he even woke up for a feed 10 mins before midnight so i could watch the fireworks on the tele! DH opted for sleep lol.

finding i'm handling the ''baby hours'' quite well and DH and I took the running pram for a spin today.. but just a gentle walk.

Girls - just want to lecture you all to make sure you do those pelvic floor exercises particularly if you have a bad back. The first few days post birth, I felt extremely weak and unstable in my belly and lower back. I had been doing my pelvic floor exercises through pregnancy and picked them up asap post birth so feel quite well now.. but i couldn't imagine how bad it would get if i hadn't. iykwim??

oh joy, a pooey nappy awaits by the smell of my little boy. falling a little more in love each day... hope to get on and write my birth story soon...

Just wanted to pop on & wish everyone a Happy New Year!

And to finish off, have a good news story to share. A friend of mine has had two very complicated pregs. Severe all-pregnancy-long MS with both bubs. First bub arrived at 36 weeks. This time around she was told she'd be lucky to make 34 weeks this time aorund. Again the severe MS and many other complications, including nearly miscarrying twice & several episodes of premature labour meant that she has been in and out of hospy the whole preg. Well very happy to say after all that she made her due date (yesterday) and gave birth to a healthy baby girl this morning around 1am! What a happy new year for her! It kind of gives you faith doesn't it?

Smithy, haha re having a baby. Oh I did my belly cast today. DH was very distracted and insisted we do my bust as well (I had a bakini on) it looks pretty cool, my belly isn't as big as I was semi lying down but what a wonderful memory (thanks heaps for the idea) HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Poppyfairy what an excitement you had. I hope labor starts soon for you.

ATM omg I had the night from hell. My left side has been horrible, at 3am I woke up with the worst period pain but only on my left, I got up and walking helped. Then it moved to my pelvis on the same side and didn't leave till I got some stronger pain killers from the chemist. I was crying it was so bad. I thought the trip to the physio would make me feel better not worse. Here's hoping it's gone after some sleep.

On a great note. I did a belly cast with DH today. It was really special and such a nice thing to do together.

Last night hung out with mum, drew a nice picture and crawled into a much cooler bed at 1.30 and slept like a baby until 3am! hopefully tonight I will sleep properly. Thank goodness for long weekend.

Happy birthday smithy.

Green - being a teacher I have no say in hols. We dont get annual leave we get school holidays just like the kids. It does mean I get 12 weeks hols a year. We didnt plan it it was just the way it happened. Also jagged being paid full pay for my maternity leave as my part time contract expired and i automatically revert back to full time. Yay for me.

AFM - feeling very calm with now having a date and being able to prepare for it. UInfortunately wearing my brace and my newly aquired belly sock (for my torn mucles) I am very hot even though it is not that hot today. Oh well only 4 weeks and 6 days to go.

Happy Birthday Smithy!!!! 33 is a great year old enough to be smart but young enough to still be ... well young lol.

Well I wont attempt personals because I am just to exhausted as I havent slept much over the last week. I have stopped the incessant crying but my eyes are so red and swollen, the preverbial pee holes in the snow. And they seem to be raw from all the rubbing

I just want to thank everyone for the kindness and support shown to me over the loss of my darling little fur-baby. I am constantly overwhelmed by the care and love that comes from this forum. Each and every one of you is an Angel.

Lil Bob is home now in a really beautiful turned rosewood urn and it is a comfort to know he's there. (Thanks PETS IN PEACE, you did a WONDERFUL job) The house seems really empty without him. Dont know what I will do when DH goes back to work though. He is an interstate truckdriver and is away for most of the week. Lil Bob was my constant companian and kept me company. Its going to be an adjustment. But I will have Lil Blue here soon, so I guess I will try to focus on that Also, we might have to move house soon so that will also keep me busy too.

Well that is enough about me. Did someone say its 2010. How the heck did that happen?
