POPPY - CONGRATUALATIONS LOVE!! welcome robin patrick what a horrid midwife! and how empowered do you feel to have done that!!! he's so gorgeous and i noticed you are still dressed in that pic a few mins after his arrival! gorgeous pics you have there!

ella's mum - dtd - oh the joy in late pregnancy lol. what did high pants call it? riding a camel lol.

saph - hope you aren't too put off by your little one's size atm love but it sounds like the ladies in your family get the short end of the baby size stick! at least for the labour part lol. remember we make babies we can handle yeah, can't say i'm a fan of pregnancy, i'd love another but having to do that 10 months plus all the IVF crap again really isn't warming my socks.

wantababy - yes i got lots of sharp pains and weird feelings across my tummy, back and legs. it's just the baby moving in and making some space i think. My BF bought a stethoscope to listen to her bub, she said it was heaps cheaper and gave her that little bit of assurance at times of 'freak out'. ykwim?

lm- romantic weekend! woot woot. HOpe you had a great time love. and send that rain this way!

greenslw - labour vibes. that last stretch when you are so big and umcomfy is just terrible hey! but hope you are enjoying your mat leave. glad to hear you stopped when you needed to. My DH got really emotional during the labour, not cos of the baby tho, he said it was cos of the pain i was in and the strength i showed. He said he was in awe of me , which made me feel great of course. These blokes, they are so sweet.

kyra - how did the move go? all settled??? Our Ash was on the small side of average and we had a 32week scan cos he had just one umbicial artery (having another scan next week) but all is well. Wow about the course! that's fabulous news, sending you saving vibes lol.

boc - that's no good about the GD? and big hugs for that very sad annivesary lovely oxox Gee that time has flown by love, before you know it little cookie will be here. And lol at the sneezing. Ash got two huge milky sneezes all over me yesterday... but he did a huge explosive poo on his daddy awhile ago so i'll take the sneezes lol.

hi dusty - glad to see your little phoenix is sticking strong love I had a 12, 20 and 32 week scans. the 32 week one was for development concers due to a single artery in the umbilical chord. When you first go off all scans and regular screening, it's really hard. especially in that 12 to 20 week time when you aren't feeling movements yet. but once the movement comes on i found that the most comfort. A nice cold glass of juice or coke would get ash kicking if he'd been quiet.

smithy - tap, tap, tap, tap ... waiting!!! lol.

bdt - hi lovely, i hope those girls are playing nice and growing big and strong these next few weeks. Come on bubbas, be nice to mummy and stay put and grow, grow, grow nice and strong. and congrats on the local delivery location. much easier for everyone i should think.

hi lani - you and me the same - i never quite get on! i read the posts and intend to post but someone usally decides to call just at that moment. hope you and Jett are well.

lilmiss - sorry to hear you guys lost your FIL and have had such a difficult time. sneding you big hugs love. and YOU take care of you sweetie.

oh lise - darling that sounds like you've had a really emotional time too. i hope your year starts to improve and that is lovely your grandad had his family there, as painful as it is watching them slowly go, I found with my granddad (cancer too) that is was real priviledge to be there with him and know he died surrounded by family and love. It is something that changed me and will stay with me for life. ox

melbel - the end is in sight!!! not long now love.

paula - hi love! hope you are well and healthy.

seph - good to see you've come back to us lol. what is it about KI?? lol. YAYAY boys rule the roost round here lol. thought 2010 was going to be the girl year heehee.

Well i've been MIA cos bub has been very unsettled. A bit colicky, ugh. But hopefully we are getting on top of it now, the heat isn't helping and he's getting overtired. He's growing great guns, nearly put on 1kg in just a month eeek! He's long and thin, so will be tall like his daddy.

and Greenslw - the rest thing is true but i always said you can't stock up on sleep so rest when YOU feel like it! plus it's amazing how you adjust to your new sleepign schedule. I haven't slept more than 5hrs in a row for over a month but i'm not a zombie or anything.

thinnking of you all... ash is starting to stir. best go feed him, it's warm today.

Grnslw-=- teehee.. Enjoy the hormones while you can cuz after bubs comes they wont be around for a while Im glad ur sleeping better too Hmmm maybe it is finally that time huh? Good luck!

LM-=- Im not quite sure where Kangaroo island is but it sounds like you had a great time! All that relaxing on the beach and being away from home duties would be so refreshing... I just had a holiday in November up the sunshine coast and already Im missing the feeling

Peresphone -=- CONGRATS on the lil Blue bundle! Time to start decorating! I had a dream the other night that I had jelly bean and "he" was a boy too.. Do you think dreams have much to do with reality? I suppose even if they do it doesnt say much because Ive had dreams of having a pink jelly bean too Hope your feeling well!

lilmiss -=- How are you doing ??

Heya grub!! 100 points for effort girl that post was humongous! The move went great and I couldnt be happier with our new home We're settling in hopes of a very long stay if luck stays on our side we'll be here until we buy And thank you for the saving vibes Ive already started brushing up on some maths B sub subjects online at this free turoring website I found called Khanuniversity.com. Its actually really good and they have physics, chemistry, biology and heaps of other stuff up there with tutoring too so im going to find that mega handy when I start the course.. Contemplating starting in july but bubs will only be 2 months old so I will probably wait till feb next yr when things are more settled..

Sorry to here Ashton is having a colicky start.. DS was a Jan baby too ( he turns three on aus day) and had bad reflux and colic aswell.. I understand just how stressfull it is watching ur lil bub in so much pain and losing so much sleep etc etc.. And yes this time of year is disgusting heat too so you cant even really wrap them cuz they sweat to death! The first few weeks are so testing.. But you will get there hun! Gripe water I found worked amazing for DS and tyhey can have it from a really young age because its all natural.. You can get it from woolies or coles or any chemist.. Other then that just boiled water itself and patience i guess.. Hope this helps

Today is disgracefull! Im sitting here sweating like a pig with a bright red face (thank you for the pale pasty skin mum and dad :P) Bring on autumn hey girls! DS has been so good today and yesterday ... he's got his angel wings on Jelly bean kicking me all night again, and still seems to love laying across my belly and sticking its head out one side and its ... something? (knees/ legs/ feet??) out the other haha

Hope everyone is doing well.. Labour Vibes to our fed up 37+ weekers! <3 Ky

Poppy Fairy - Congratulations on the arrival of Robin. What a gorgeous little boy you have there. Enjoy the babymoon while you can!

Ella's mum, Green & smithy - sending lots of labour vibes your way. Good luck xx

Melbel - not long to go now. Good luck over the next two weeks. I hope bub doesn’t grow too much more.... doesn't sound like there's much room!

LM - I am not sure where Kangaroo Island is either but I am glad to hear you had a nice time. I am in desperate need of a holiday.... waiting to hear if DH can get some time off and hopefully we will have a babymoon in March.

Seph - Congrats on your baby blue!

Grub - I hope you are enjoying every minute of these early days with Ashton, Sorry to hear he has had a bit of colic. I hope it passes quickly.

Saph - congrats on becoming an aunty again. I hope you enjoyed those snuggles.

Kyra - good luck with your study. Don't worry to much about your maths. I have always found that things fall into place quicker with further study. It's amazing how your perspective changes when you are actually interested and have your sights set on a goal.

Lise –-sorry again to hear about your grandfather. I hope you are feeling a bit better.

Lilmiss - so sorry to hear about the loss of your FIL too.

Murph - thanks for the photo update. Jazzy is so gorgeous!

BOC - I have heard they can turn a baby with acupuncture. Not entirely sure how it works but it might be worth looking into.

AFM - We have had a busy week with interstate visitors. We finally got out evaporative cooling installed too. We ordered it back at the end of Nov and install day arrived. We got to use it 2 days before the cool change came through. I am really looking forward to my first appointment with the hospital midwife this week. Feels like we have been waiting for ever for this to roll around. I am hoping to hear the heartbeat again and we should get our bounty bag!

I best be off to bed. Sorry to those I have missed. Hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend.

LondonMiss I lived on KI for 2 years and we have property there it is very pretty, hope the relaxation leaves you well

Murph if you're really thinking of KI for a change happy to PM you re ups and downs. Bit cooler than your home right now.

Persephone congrats on a boy and Telstra is a must anywere away from the big smoke.

Grub i'm so glad you are doing well. Thanks for sharing your DH story. It is nice to see emtional DH every now and then. and also so reasuring to here you're not a zombie. Keep up the good work

kyra I hear you loud and clear about the weather. when pg it is really really hard to get cool. I still sleep fan on window open when it's 12C outside! Poor shivering DH.

Mitf for aircon I bet that makes your life 100x better. Enjoy reading through all the info in your bounty bag.

ATM wide awake again at 1.30am, "sigh" oh well it's nice in some ways to have the house nice and quiet and just have time to go through all my mum to be thoughts. besides I can sleep in tomorrow still not used to this not working thing ladies. Said that to DH today and he said you have 14 more weeks of this. I reminded him that Squeak would give me "lots to do" he seams to think "wish" that Squeak will be an easy baby and fit right in with our lives. I guess if you don't wish it then it wont happen but I think he's up in the clouds a bit?????

Had some extreme BH today while shopping, Made me stop in my tracks I must admit I though "oh no it's time" but when I stopped so did the pain. Now I'm even more scared of going into labor in public. That's it no shopping alone from now on. I think I could handle it if someone was there but on your own. I know nobody would mind (public) but it would be slightly scary...

Hi ladies! I would do persies but my beautiful boy wins the award for the fussiest baby in the Northern Hemisphere and as 5 minutes seems to be the longest I can leave him lying in his moses basket then 5 minutes is exactly how long I have on here!!

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments about my boy. I think he is absolutely delicious. I just love looking at him and snuggling him. Unfortunately he is rather fond of a snuggle as well and extremely fond of the boob so I am getting absolutely no sleep or time off being a snuggle and boob machine! He is a marathon booby monster and last night fed constantly from about 3am till 8 am!!! This has been happening almost every night of his little life and the daytime feeds are just as constant. The midwives say this is perfectly normal as he is building up his supply. I am learning to snatch an hour of sleep whenever he is. He does however also not settle anywhere apart from on my chest. So we have a little celebration everytime he settles in the moses basket for more than 5 minutes. We have certainly jumped right into the deep end and I guess the means that things can only get better......please??? LOL!

Good luck everyone and belly rubs. Looking forward to reading more of your posts as I lurk in this thread!!!
