i cant believe it BUT my levels are still rising

Ivf nurse just rang and said that my levels are now 237hcg and my progesterone is 60 she said that the other day my progesterone was really low it was 15 and 48hrs later there 60

the nures said she is REALLY REALLY happy with these results and i have to have another bt on tuesday ( my god thats so far away)

i am still bleeding and i am so confused, i have had 2 miscarriages before and this is nothing like them, i dont have any cramps or pains and the bleeding isnt heavy, well actually its strange cos one minute i will do a wee and there will be no blood, but then the next time i go and do a wee there is a fair bit of blood??????? and thats how its sort of been, one minute theres blood next minute there's not, its all so confusing.

i asked the nurse is there any chance that i could be pregnant with twins and that i am just losing one of them and she said that could be very well possible and she also said i might be one of those women that bleed throughout there pregnancy and she also said that this bleeding might not even be pregnancy related, so we just have to sit tight until tuesday to see what my levels are doing and then if all is rising i will be getting an early scan done to see why i am bleeding.

thank you so much for you support and kind words, i dont know what i would do without your help

Mummy 2 Chloe - That is great news sweetie it sounds like you are spotting like I did sometime there was nothing and sometimes a bit. My FS and OB said the blood would mix with the CM so the levels would change.

can i ask you a quick question? when you were bleeding, what colour was it ( if you dont mind me asking) its just that sometimes mine is brown and other times its a redish colour and did you have bleeds that were heavy ( well not heavy like a period but a fair bit of bloody on the toilet paper when you wiped) and then a couple of hours later have nothing??

    i am just so scared

if you want have a look at my blog it will run through what was going through my head

Tis the season to be Jolly...

Merry Christmas all you yummy soon to be or already mummys
Safe trip to you all during this festive time.

AFM,had my monthly visit with the OB yesterday and June Bug was waving his/her hands around and the little one had the worst case of hick ups it was so cute.
Other than that 19 week scan is in 14 sleeps time.
No movement as yet but at my 12 week scan they said that the placenta is anterior so I may feel this a little latter.
I do get some flutters but I'm sure I will know when our little one starts kicking away.

OB said that the fruit that I love the most is out It looks likes it only apples and bananas for me from now on.
My sugars are fine but cause I love my juices and sweet fruits it won't be good for baby when it's delivery time.
Oh well, I still will squeeze in a yummy apple juice or nectarine every now and then but I guess not every day.

Did any of you ladies get told the same thing about fruit??

Hope everyones Chritmas time is full of love and joy

Nic - i wasn't actively advised by OB to avoid fruits, but with the issues i have with blood sugars on my own, the thing i noticed making me feel the worst (so rebounding to really low BSL's) after eating was fruit - so i have cut back - still have it occassionally, but not a lot. if you look up GI tables, you might be able to get an idea of lower GI fruit - which is fine for you to have (in moderation of course) - the last thing you want is for you BSL's to go really high (which the natural sugars in fruit do) and then plummett - will make it harder for you, and also for bub, to regulate BSL's....

    hope that made sense!

    hey everyone

i need to talk and i dont know where else or who else to talk to about it!

today i have started to get cramps and i am still bleeding

it feels like the odds are beginning to stack up against us.

i have been bleeding for 5 days now and i am so sick of it, i am sick of not knowing or understanding and today with each cramp i lay there thinking " was that the cramp that might of taken my baby away from me"

i am trying my god damn hardest to stay positive and keep my mind off what is happening, but its sooooo hard!!!!

i am suppose to have another bt on tuesday, but do you think i should ask to have it done tomorrow considering i have started to get cramps?? also when is the earliest i can go for a scan??? i know that around 6wks you will see a heart beat, but at the moment i am not worried about that, if my levels are still rising then i know that bubba is ok, i want the scan so i can hopefully get some answers as to why i am bleeding iykwim

the last 5 days have been some of the most wonderful and some of the most worst and worrying days of my life and with all this bleeding and cramps its bringing back memories of my 2 babies that i miscarried 8yrs ago, my god this is so hard

so sorry for bringing this thread down, i just dont know where else to go

    M2C, it's so hard!

I don't think they'd want to do a scan before 6 weeks - as even though they are likely to see a gestational sack, they likely won't find a heartbeat and it often leaves people with more questions than answers...

If it would help you feel more comfortable about things, I'd certainly contact the clinic and see about getting another blood test earlier.

I'm hoping and praying that it's just stretching pains...
