if you were measuring five weeks at last scan, you should be 5w 4 days by tomorrow - at that point, you should see a heartbeat on an internal scan - at the least, you'd see fetal pole etc. they definitely should be able to see more - i would think at this stage the scan would be able to confirm the progress for you one way or another
