Hi Possums and Mels,
I am addicted to this website now. Spreading my time between Facebook and Ebay (hahaha) Luckily I am on holidays from school. Love reading everyone's journeys. All the best over the Christmas period. My first scan is set for the 5th January. Wish it would hurry up. Can't wait!!! Looking forward to Christmas with the kids as well.
To all the beautiful ladies, Congrats, Merry Christmas and Healthy Pregnant New Year.

Merry Christmas!
Hi ladies
Just popped in quickly to wish everyone a very merry and safe Christmas and a happy and healthy pregnancy new year!
And also, congratulations to Possums and Mels - isn't it just the best Christmas present ever? Well done and heres to a H&H pg for you both. :cheer:
Dusty - am glad to hear that the specialist has given you some hope. Take the next few weeks to relax and hopefully you will have better news in the new year. Thinking of you
To everyone else, lots of :bellyrubs::bellyrubs:
We leave for an extended holiday tomorrow morning and I won't be back on line until about my scan date, which is 5th Jan. Even though we will have visitors at the time, which will make it interesting trying to keep the pg a secret from them, I will try to pop in and catch up and post the results.
Take care all,
xx

Hi girls,
Congrats Mel...Fabulous news, welcome to the otherside!! Good luck hun and I am sure you won't need it.
Nic, I just wanted to come in and give you a big cyber hug and a cyber foot massage!! You poor duck...you day sounds very trying. The smoker would have tipped me over the edge. Funny, but i have a harder time controlling my gob these days. Hope it gets better for you hun...and if not...become the foreman of Christmas and delegate until your heart is content.
AFM- Hmmm, well i feel a bit strange really. It is only my head playing tricks on me...starting to think too much and question too much. You see the last few days i have seen a major lift in symptoms. It was hard to tell at first because i got that cold...but now that it is lifting, i notice i have hardly got any MS anymore...none yesterday. I am still peeing a lot, but my boobs are not tender at all anymore. So apart from being tired and peeing through the night...i feel pretty normal. I haven't seen or had any BTs for the baby yet like most women in here...which i chose and i am totally cool with...but i find myself today thinking...MY God, am I pregnant. Might sound stupid coming from someone reaching the 12 week milestone but there you have it. I trust that everything is fine and i am over analyzing stuff again...I should just appreciate that the MS has gone and hope it doesn't come back. My appetite is still pretty low and uninspired.
Anyway..i am blabbing. Love and xmas wishes to you all.

HM, sounds like you may have reached the "other side"! You might be on your way to have a great second tri and start to feel fantastic...enjoy it!! ;) I know when my m/s and various other symptoms disappeared I didn't feel pregnant all of a sudden and had some energy back. Apparently that's why 2nd tri is supposed to be so fantastic....but I still found it stressful as a LTTTC'er as I am sure we all do.
I remember at about 10w I had tonsilitis and all of my pg symptoms seemed to disappear but came back with a vengeance a few days after I started to feel better.
-
Oh MEgan, thanks for that. Lets hope mine are history too and no 'return with a vengeance' is looming. Hell i have Christmas Lunch to think about eating! LOL It is a strange feeling and i woke up thinking...i might POAS...at 11.5 weeks, what a laugh. I have even got a little bit of Mojo back. I just feel a bit different all together. Gosh our bodies are incredible. Thanks for the reassurance...for a moment i needed to hear that.
Love HM xoxo
Oh chez67..have a great holiday and hope the secret stays under wraps...you would be doing better than me.xx
-
HM - Enjoy the nice 2nd Tri sweetie
AFM: Just had a lovely 20 mins in Bed with Charoltte feeling her move and kick what a precious gift I have :)
Merry Christmas Girls Hope to log in tonight or tommorrow but just want to say :loveshower: thanks to you all xxx

HM - I agree with Megan. Although I didn't have MS and my boobs were only sore on and off during the first tri - I did feel a massive change in my energy levels around the 10 - 14 week mark. I stopped needed a sleep in the middle of the day and could manage to stay up past 8pm. Personally, I'm too much of a control freak to have not POAS or had a BT or anything, but hey that's me. I was going to say that POAS is not a terrible idea if it will set your mind at ease - I don't think it means you have any less faith in your own body, but for me seeing the 2 lines just made it seem more real (I didn't POAS until around 5 days after the clinic told me that my results were positive and I'd had 2 more BT's in between).
Any-hoo: Welcome to Mel and Welcome back to Possums. Even MORE ladies to keep up with - NOT that I am complaining. Hi and happy holidays to everyone else.
AFM: DH had his Chrimbo work party last night - I woke up at midnight and he wasn;t there and I thought ah well, he deserves to cut loose considering how good he has been since the BFP. Then woke up at 3am and he still wasn't home and I thought - sh*t something has happened he knows we are heading to Canberra tomorrow. I call and he is walking home - he fell asleep at our friends house up the road at around midnight and had just woke up and was half way home. Thanks to the initial panic I couldn't get back to sleep. Considered logging on and doing some work hahahahahha.
So, I was up at 5.50 - showered and logged on to work from home (THANK GOD - I didn't have to face the city today). Looking forward to the busy 3.5 hour drive to Canberra later today - NOT.
Oh well, I am very much looking forward to Christmas so it'll all be good once we get there.
Take it easy on the roads if you are travelling.....

TL- glad you had that time with Charlotte
Hippy mum- i hope you are feeling OK. There are so many mind games we play when pregnant, and so many things which can cause worry. It sounds like you are just passing the first tri symptoms now...
everyone else- wow, it's Christmas eve! Have a wonderful xmas

Just popping in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Cool Yule! All the best to everyone and I hope you have a happy & stress free break on your last baby-free Christmas :D!
Congrats to Possums and Mels77 on your recent BFPs ... hope to be back in here with you soon.
AFM - got the good news yesterday that my hormones are back to baseline so back to square one and ready & rearing to go! AF probably not due just yet, but I'm eager to have an appt with one of my frosties some time soon!!

Tis the season to be Jolly...
Merry Christmas all you yummy soon to be or already mummys
Safe trip to you all during this festive time.
AFM,had my monthly visit with the OB yesterday and June Bug was waving his/her hands around and the little one had the worst case of hick ups it was so cute.
Other than that 19 week scan is in 14 sleeps time.
No movement as yet but at my 12 week scan they said that the placenta is anterior so I may feel this a little latter.
I do get some flutters but I'm sure I will know when our little one starts kicking away.
OB said that the fruit that I love the most is out It looks likes it only apples and bananas for me from now on.
My sugars are fine but cause I love my juices and sweet fruits it won't be good for baby when it's delivery time.
Oh well, I still will squeeze in a yummy apple juice or nectarine every now and then but I guess not every day.
Did any of you ladies get told the same thing about fruit??
Hope everyones Chritmas time is full of love and joy
-
Nic - i wasn't actively advised by OB to avoid fruits, but with the issues i have with blood sugars on my own, the thing i noticed making me feel the worst (so rebounding to really low BSL's) after eating was fruit - so i have cut back - still have it occassionally, but not a lot. if you look up GI tables, you might be able to get an idea of lower GI fruit - which is fine for you to have (in moderation of course) - the last thing you want is for you BSL's to go really high (which the natural sugars in fruit do) and then plummett - will make it harder for you, and also for bub, to regulate BSL's....
hope that made sense!
-
Thanks BG you made perfect sense, just googled and looks likes grapes pears and a few others are ok but as you said in moderation.
Maybe switching to cut up vegies as back up should also do the trick.

Hi ladies...I am still experiencing light spotting...on and off...because my progesterone was so high on monday, my nurse said most likely it's implantation bleeding and not to worry. I just thought it would have stopped by now? Any thoughts? I know bleeding is an ectopic symptom, but I dont think it usually happens this early from an ectopic. Obviously I am just really cautious about it.
-
Hi girls wanted to pop in and say MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all hope you have a safe and happy one.
Dusty: i will be thinkin of you and hope you are in that 10%, good luck. I had a very similar story with DS, v. low heartbeat, hemmoraging and enlarged yolk sac, hes now 5!!! hope your tale is similar. Hugs and take it easy!!
Possums: Congrats on the BFP, that is awesome!!!! I had an ectopic too and had absolutly no bleeding, but his pregnancy had spotting when AF would have been due, as long as its not bright red with pain, i believe its all good.
TL: your photo looks gorgeous, really dont know what your mum was thinkin you look sooo well.
AFM: had ob on monday and BP abit high and i usually have very low BP so will have to watch that. She also advised me that GDT came back at 7.9 and cut off is 8, dont know why she didnt tell me that earlier, but i guess if it was something to woory about she would have said so. Soooooooo tired and very sick of heartburn, gaivscon has become my drink of choice!!! well off for a catnap before the relies arrive :wall:
Sorry for no more personals but i really just want to wish everyone all the very best, have a wonderful chrissi.:grouphug:
-
Possums  sweetie if there is no pain and its not bright red maybe a breakthrough bleed
Scooby Rest Up sweetie
Only 1 more sleep till Santa

TL, NIxon, Possums, Hey girls, Thanks so much for the advice. I P'dOAS a few times to find out i was pg to start with...and Dr wouldn't give me a BT. Don't have as many choices not on IVF...which i am cool with now...not at the time though. Yesterday i POAS again to reassure myself. Nic, you were right it made a huge difference for me. I am fine now...just had a little freak out for a sec. Ha
I am so sorry i don't have time for personals today. Love to all.
