Possums, Hun i think i have heard someone before saying to be careful re photocopying them as they can just go all black with the exposure depending on the paper. Good luck hun
BG, I was the same, i just thought from day dot..this is it until D day, this is the one. I have really surprised myself with the confidence inside. Hope you are well.
21.TTC, I have a retroverted Uterus to hun and while some people will tell you it is an issue, i don't believe it is. I have Endo and scar tissue and even with those thing i have witnessed it flipping forward and back 2-3 times in on scan i had. It will not change the visibility, they can work around it and often women find it will flip forward during pregnancy anyway. Just remember it is a muscle and is quite flexible to its surroundings. Good luck with the scan hun.
Kahlan, As BG reassured me last week, it would certainly be the bub if it feels different to you. I normally feel air/wind moving around here and there but my feelings were different too. It was funny, i had second thoughts to tel everyone only because everyone elses feelings were butterflies or bubbles at first. For me it was soft and wave like...like my belly breathed without me doing anything. And when you said liquid moving...that is exactly it, like a change in the pressure of liquid in my belly, soft and gentle. So i reckon that was it to.
My break from packing is over so back to it now. Hope you are all well.
TL good luck for the GTT on Monday hun and I am sure you will be fine. Sending Charlotte and you a big hug.
Mel, hope the spotting clears up hun and you are back to feeling confident again.
Love and rubs to all HM xoxo

Hi all,
Just wanted to quickly pop in and say hi and see how everyone is doing.
Possums - wishing you all the best for your scan today - sounds like everything is on track, so I'm sure that this will just be a formality and you will get to see your little one with a strong heart beat!
Not much to report here - not really feeling at all pg (except if skin break out is a pg sign?) although I had to go and buy 2 mat bras - not because I've grown, but because after 3 years of TTC my old ones have finally bit the dust and I needed something (I never replaced them cause I kept telling myself I would get pg soon :wall:). Sales lady suggested mat bras and then if I grow out of them I can use them later when finishing up breast feeding - but they have a bit of room in them. I was impressed to find some nice one (NZ brand 'hot milk') that actually dont look like mat bras - even DH likes them! Next scan is this Friday, and as per all my posts I cant wait for it but am stressing out and so desperatly want to see the heart beat.
Wishing everyone well and will try and get to personals later this week. :bellyrubs: for everyone!

Possums good luck for today hon - I am sending you so many positive baby vibes. Looking forward to hearing positive news. In regards to the scan photos - with my early ones I just scanned them onto my computer. With the later ones they put them on disc for you at the scanning place.
FG - my skin has been like a teenagers since I found out I was pregnant. I haven't been this spotty in years! Apparently it clears up - once you have the baby!
HM - hope the packing is going well.
21 - I have a retroverted uterus also and they had no problems finding bubs at 6 weeks 3 days - it was an internal scan though, so perhaps just ask for that rather than one on the tummy. The only reason I had such an early scan was due to being an IVF pregnancy and that was my final appointment with FS. You can see so much more at 8 weeks, so if you can hang off until then, I think that is a good time to get it done.
Dusty - sending you lots of love.
Hi Nicole, TL, BG, Mels, Kahlan, LNB and anyone else I have missed. Hope you are all well.
AFM - well the hot Melbourne weather and pregnancy definitely do NOT go together! I have been feeling really fatigued yesterday and today. Trying to keep fluids up as much as possible and in the air con or swimming pool wherever I can. Bubs has been dancing up a storm over the past week which has been both really nice/sometimes a little painful! Really been starting to think about the actual giving birth part a lot more... only got 10 weeks and 5 days until we meet our little one - if they decide to arrive on time.

Hi everyone...thanks for the kind thoughts. Just back from the scan and all is just perfect! We have nicknamed this little one "Hope" because that's what it's given us. I had estimated I would be 7 weeks today and measured 6 wks 6 days, so spot on. HB was 133BPM which is apparently great for this early stage. And I guess the main thing for us was to see that this baby is in my uterus, and not ectopic...the final proof that we really can make a baby ALL BY OURSELVES! we didn't think that was possible. And even more amazing, I ovulated on my right side, which is the side without a tube...clever egg made it to the other tube, which in the past was described to me as being "clubbed down, with lots of adhesions and scarring, making it difficult for an egg to get into it, and also to travel through it". So this little one just is meant to be and has been a determined one from the start! HOORAY!! This is a relief...although both DH and I want to get past that 8.5 wks stage when we lost our last one. That is a bit of a hurdle for us...so I will have another scan in about a week and a half. But so far so good! The ladies put our pics to disc for us which was nice (I know them,as they do all the IVF scans- they are thrilled we have a natural pregnancy)
BG and HM- as for knowing its the one...I lost some faith in myself and my inner knowing after last time, when I really believed it was going to be our baby, and yet we lost it. I need to learn to trust myself again.
FG- glad you are doing well and I can understand you wanting to get to that scan!! Like you I really dont have many symptoms, and both times I was pregnant before had larger really sore boobs...and this time, they've hardly changed!
Janie- hope the heat isnt knocking you around too badly
hi everyone else

Possums :cheer: hun so happy for you DH and Hope :leap:

Possums - that is just fantastic news. sounds like you really do have a miracle (in my humble opinion, all babies are miracles)
-
Awesome news Possums!!!
xx
-
Possums, that i wonderful hun. Hope is what we called our little one that we lost in May...for the very same reason. It gave us hope that we could do it...and to keep going a bit longer...and we did. I felt i ovulated on my battered side too. When it is meant to be...it is just meant to be. I am so proud for you hun and thrilled for you for the results. You go girl!!
Love and hugs
HM xoxo

yee ha Possums!! fabulous news!!
-
fantastic news on the scan Possums - so glad everything is travelling so well for you this time
it's understandable you've lost faith in your body over time - just have to start regaining it again!
-
Possums - I have the hugest smile on my face... what wonderful news for you, your DH and little Hope. I can sense the relief in your voice and hope that this will start the rebuilding of your trust in your body. This is the one Possums - little Hope is a miracle (from your bad side no less) and is here to stay!

Mel- thanks- hope you are feeling ok
Janie...thank you for the nice words :)
BG- can I ask..did you ever lose faith in yourself and your intuition etc? It's been quite hard for me, as I am fairly spiritual and used to feel I was tuned into things, and then my faith was a bit shattered with our last miscarriage.
-
possums - i found myself losing faith everytime i approached an appointment - i was so positive the rest of the time, but the anxiety of an upcoming appointment messed with my head. it was only the day or two before each one, but being an AC pregnancy, there have been a lot of them. i have doubtful moments even now if miss gremlin goes quiet for too long - but it's not the same absolute belief that things weren't right that i had in the previous pregnancies
even when i'd had positive results before, something just didnt feel right - i don't know if it was about my head space at the time, whether i just "knew" something wasn't right - but from the day of the IUI this time around, something has felt right. even with my doubts, i think it would have to be more the anxiety, not a belief that anything was truly wrong kwim?
i felt so strongly that this was going to be ok, that i ordered the furniture when i was 10 weeks - i just knew i would be going strong kwim? i still have concerns now - i told hubby on Sunday that the law would recognise our baby now, no matter what happened - but it was a fleeting moment of relief that she is now considred a baby - everything else seems to be ok
maybe it's the constant nausea since the day after implantation that has done it....
-
YAY POSSUMS!!! i hope your good fortune rubs off on me! im sooo terrified, have a GP appointment today to order a scan im going to go for 8 weeks!!! another 3 weeks of torture! i just want to see SOMETHING in there even a baby with no heartbeat is an achievement for me not that i want that! im also terrified of having an ectopic as i still have that niggling pain on the lower left, im trying to think its just the embie digging in, only time will tell and the other thing is the statistics, 1 in 4 experience loss and there isnt much of that going on in here so it has to happen to someone maybe its me :(

Woo Hoo Possum, fantastic news for Baby Hope
Janie, I hear you on the heat...I HATE IT!!! Sydney tomorrow is going to be 40o and I have to go back to work :wall:
Try and keep you and bubs nice a cool in the pool.
AFM, 20 weeks today :leap: and only 140 days to go.
Feeling really good except for hating this heat and for the last few days have been feeling some flutters every so often.
It feels so strange sort of makes me laugh when they happen as it feels someone is tickling me
:bellyrubs: :bellyrubs: to all
