Good on you hun for telling people to bug off with their silly stories. I honestly don't know why people do that. I will be turning my back and walking away if that happens to me...luckily for now, you can't tell i am pg and no one says much at all...yet.
Have you tried a belly support belt hun to help your muscles. It might help you feel more supported. I would look into it. As for birth, find yourself a nice book of positive birth stories and start empowering yourself now hun. I would sit down and write out exactly what you want to experience and focus on that daily. You are going to be just fine I am sure. We are women, here us roar! The inner strength in you will no doubt blow you away when the time comes. Also have you looked into Calm Birth or Hypnobirthing? They are great to build confidence.
Good luck hun and thinking of you.
Love Hm xoxo
I know i know...everyone. I am logging off now ....just waiting for the last batch of cupcakes to come out of oven for tomorrow...and the sheets to dry so i can go to be.
Night! P.s. Packign is going well....man we have so much stuff for people that arrived with a suitcase each 6.5years ago.

Hi lovely ladies
Big congrats to everyone on good scans, BTs and pink and blue bundles of joy. To those with worries, have faith and take each day as it comes. You have many to support you on your way.
Mummy2chloe, my heart goes out to you hun, it seems so senseless to see a heathy heartbeat on one scan and devastation at the next. Please know I am thinking of you and your family at this time .
I have updated my TTC journal as we lost out little mite this week. At our week 10 scan there was no hope and I came off all the drugs and had a natural MC in previous days.
I know I will be back in here as a participant some time in the future. As you know I will be watching and willing on all your journeys as both a moderator and especially a friend. Thanks for all the support and strength you have all shown me and each other. PALTTTC can be such a trying journey. I agree with how Rara calls the 1st tri the 12WW. There are so many waits in this all and I wish you all the best getting to your 40WW mark and meeting your forever child.
xx
-
Dusty - I am very sorry for your loss. I hope all of us make it through the 40 WW at some point in our journeys.

hey
this will be my last post in here, just wanted to wish you all a safe and healthy pregnancy, well whats left of it your all going so well its wonderful.
afm- had the D&C on thursday and it was the worst experience in the world. i have never woken up from surgery and feel so alone and empty. but its not over i now have an infection from the surgery. i am on 2 different antibotics and another lot of tablets to try and stop the bleeding and the clots. the pain is so bad that i walk hunched over. i wish this was over. the physical pain is one thing but the emotional pain is even harder i just want my baby back. we have decided that we are going to have a break from ttc but i will be in here daily to check up on you all and reply to threads where i can help.
please take care you wonderful ladies and thanks again for all you help and support

Hi Girls,
We're back from Byron *sigh* and back to work.... I've spent over an hour reading the posts so I will be back later to catch up.
M2C - I'm so Sorry. It's so unfair. Take care of yourself and I wish you a speedy recovery.
Dusty - I read your journal entries - I'm sorry babe. Words just don't cut it. Take care and see you back here soon.
Megan - Yep - I did calm birth. How are you finding it so far?
To all the other lovely ladies - bellyrubs and I'll be back later to catch up.

M2C, that is horrible hun. I hope the infection clears up quickly and doesn't leave you in physical pain for too much longer. We are here for you hun and I am so so sorry you have had to go through this. It is just incredibly unfair. Sending you a hug although i know it won't take the pain away...take care of yourself babe. Maybe it might be good to do something like what Dusty did...find a way to say goodbye and celebrate the life despite being ever so short. This baby will be forever in your heart and I hope you can find a way to grieve. Thinking of you.
Love HM xoox

FG- does sound like similar symptoms- hope you are doing well this week
Nicole- hope you have enjoyed wagga
afm- just had another HCG BT and very nervous waiting for results (this is around the time things went off track last time). Also I have been feeling sick, with cold shivers on and off all day...and headaches and stiff neck! I don't know what to count as pregnancy symptoms and what is something else. Any thoughts?

Do you know what possums - I just remembered I had a very similar thing when I was around the 5 - 6 week mark. Heachache, chills, slight fever, my whole body ACHED. I just remembered now - we had gone to canberra for my Dad's birthday and to tell the family about the pregnancy. It was around 10 days after we had the BFP conifmed.
I couldn't eat properly and ended up leaving Dad's b-day dinner early because I felt so terrible. I took panadols and slept for about 4 days. No runny nose or sore throat or anything else just the symptoms described above.
Weird, but sounds similar to what you are experiencing.....?
-
Dusty - I'm so, so sorry for your loss.
M2C - I'm also so very sorry for you.
Thinking of you girls.

Nixon- thank you-does sound similar. I am going to see my chiro/acupuncturist this arvo which will hopefully help...i have a bad back/neck at the best of times
-
make sure the chiro knows that you're pg possums - mine has altered the way he treats me due to the pg - for some adjustments that he used to have me on my tum using downward pressure he now has me on my back using a more upward pressure kwim?
-
Possums, I was sick in early pg too with headache, temp, sore throat, aches and pains and it ended up being tonsilitis. I just think because your immune system is a bit low during pg that you are likely to pick up a bug here and there. Might be an idea to go the Dr, especially if you think you have a temp. There's only one thing he could prescribe me, but I felt better having it checked out.
Nixon, calmbirth was very interesting. Have only done one class so far, but really looking forward to the rest of them. She only teaches 2 couples at a time which I was surprised about, but it's good for us. Plenty of opportnity for questions. I've done a track on the first CD most days. DH did it with me on Saturday and was snoring in less than 10 minutes! How often are you practicing?
-
Bg- thanks...yeh will do- this guy has a great approach incorporating the acupuncture and energy healing as well...he has helped me through IVF etc and when I was pregnant before and I hope he will now help me feel better and also balance things and help this little one stay with us!
-
Megan - I haven't practiced since before Christmas. I was sick with a very runny nose which makes the breathing techniques v. difficult.
We finished CB classes early Dec and I'm feeling very confident now. I have my rough birth plan and also I have notes for DH on all the things he can do for me to assist during the birth. visualsation tigger words - massage - etc. You'll find out heaps more by the end of the classes.
I try and do at least one track per week at the moment and will increase that as time goes on. I was only 16 weeks or something when we started the classes (very early compared to a lot of others) but you wouldn't believe how much it calmed my anxiety about the pregnancy and impending birth. DH tells everyone how much of a change he say in me - even from the end of the first session.
So, I'm not too worried about doing a track every single day at the moment IYKWIM? I think I'll start trying to do 3 a week from now on. I listen to the 45 minute track while I'm at acupuncture - double the relaxation.
-
Megan thanks...sorry missed your post earlier, must have posted around the same time

HCG results in... 25,700 up from 10,750 one week ago.... my midwife says those results are "Ok, and we'll just hang in there and see how things go"...which wasn't especially positive. I have fallen below the HCG rising line I was on the graph they have, which has these lines showing how HCG should rise, depending on your starting point. But I didn't ever get levels this high with my last pregnancy, so I am going to take this as a good result. I am sure not all pregnancies follow the text book lines. And it has jumped up by quite a bit...it just hasn't doubled at a rate of every four days (which I was told to expect now). I wish I wasn't so damn nervous every step of the way...just after our last loss I am pretty paranoid, yet trying to accept what will be will be. If anyone else had HCG levels done this far in and has in feedback, it is welcome. Scan on wednesday.
-
Possums - I wish I could reassure you, but I only had 2 early HCG tests done, so I have nothing to compare it to. Those levels certainly look good to me and as you said - take faith in the fact that last time you didn't get this high. Thank goodness you have your scan on Wednesday to give you some peace of mind. I am sending loads of positive energy your way.

possums - that all still sounds pretty positive. you will know a lot more after your scan on wednesday too which will hopefully put your mind at rest. i hope you manage to relax a bit between now and then. you a lot more aware of HCG rates / increases than I am. I didn't have any other BTs after 5 weeks, so I can't comment, but it sounds very high to me.
afm, i had my scan this morning (i tried to post earlier, but my computer kept timing out). anyway, everything looked good - heartbeat, good size, right spot etc. so i'm quite relieved. next scan isn't until 11-13 weeks...which seems like forever away. I can see a scan-addiction developing.
