morning ladies!

Bel - you might find the swelling from your ovaries is the only reason you're uncomfy - as your bubba grow, there is less pain for that swelling. i didn't technically have OHSS, but my right ovary was hugely swollen and even now if i lay on my right hand side, it hurts. and when my bladder is full - ouchies! hopefully the scan tomorrow will tell you more. given you have had the OHSS it might take a while to settle down. be prepared to put yourself ahead of work no matter what. i can understand the desire to do the right thing, but ultimately, your health has to come first

AFM - i'm now on day five of feeling human - and it's scary! went from feeling like death warmed up on Saturday, to OK sunday (11 weeks) and have been tolerable since. not ms free by any means, but ok enough to feel like i can actually do some things. the heat isn't playing nice with me - have almost fainted a couple of times - and tomorrow i'm getting air cons installed to save me getting to that point again. frightened me - but more than that, it scared DH. he came home late last night, and got the air cons out of storage, and is hoping to be home tonight to move stuff so that i don't have to do anything in the morning. he's such a sweetie!

went to first antenatal appointment on Monday, then out for dinner at my bro's place - survived!!! was exhausted, but i made it without tears, without falling in a heap with ms - was really nice! my bro is very excited about having HIS first niece or nephew come into the world - his wife has 6 brothers, most of them have kids, so she has heaps - but this is the first one related to him by blood - and he's so very excited. he got drunk on Monday night with DH to finally celebrate the Gremlin (he's been reluctant in case something went wrong) - and apparently the conversation took some twists i wasn't expecting. i went out to the shed to get ready to leave, to be told i'd never have to attend an appointment alone if DH couldn't make it as my bro (self employed) would put off work to take me. he'd sit in the scans and be there for moral support for me. it wasn't something i expected from my bro - but it had me in tears of gratitude!

Am off to have routine serology scans today, and i think the doc put in a request for a urine test as well. not looking forward to going out in the heat, but it has to be done - will go to my mum's afterward and chill in front of her air con for a while....
