Mel, I have an exam on the 31st Oct, the 3rd and 11th Nov, plus a take-home exam due Nov 18th. I absolutely can't wait to finish! Then I suppose I can take some interest in baby accoutrements (I honestly have not even been inside a babyware shop yet, just browsed the Target baby section a few times, many weeks ago now). I haven't bought the bub a single thing of clothing, just cloth nappies and a hammock off the web. Am I the world's slackest mum-to-be or what?!? I think perhaps it might be because part of me still doesn't think it's real, that I will have a squirmy bub in a few months' time.

Hey, dopplers are cool, aren't they? I've had mine for nearly three months now and they are addictive, I was using it quite a lot. Now that bub is active I am happy to wait for him to kick (OK...I admit...sometimes I poke, prod and cajole him to kick to reassure me!).

Tiff, fingers crossed for your appt tomorrow, hope that your GD can be managed with diet alone and no jabbing of needles.

Sush, does that mean you'll get a GD test earlier than usual?

I rang the midwives yesterday, told them I wouldn't be getting my GD test until 30w if I wait until my next clinic, they didn't seem fussed, just told me if I was worried to see my GP who would arrange it. But when I called for an appt with my GP he was booked out until next week #-o so now I'm figuring I can wait because it will only be an extra week in that case. My last check-up was at 24w with my initial OBS visit, so I'll be going 6w without a check-up. Do you think this is bad?????
