Just had an odd thought about FET babies.....

Does the freezing process make a difference to babies as they grow up? I was wondering that maybe babies that are from FETs could be either more susceptible to cold or more resiliant to cold due to having been frozen as an embryo. Has anyone found that with their FET bubs?

Ooh Trish you'd be a good one to ask... Do you know if your brother was a fresh or frozen transfer?

Pffft, yeah right like I'd know that. LOL. Ummmm, I think he was frozen though. (I will find out for sure)

And yes he does still feel the cold. But I think that's because he was such a skinny little kid, mum always had him rugged up to the hills as he would freeze. So now he's still the same.

Eliza was a frozen embie for 8 months, she hasn't had any more colds than the children her age..and that is with childcare as well. Developmentally she is above average and physically is above the 70% for weight and 95th% for height. Yesterday at the doctors ( a new one) I said to her ohh she was IVF ICSI and a FET ans she said you dont need to tell me that as it makes no difference..she is a healthy child with a healthy temper tantrum . She is my hot water bottle nice and warm, and is partial to less clothes than more.
Wonder if the next ones work 4 yrs in the freeze might be a different.
