How great it is to see this thread filling up, well done everyone on your BFP's its a long hard journey and after all you go through they are so deserved!!
Nixon: waitin to hear how the scan was, so great seeing your little one and that little heart beat!!!
Possums: good luck with the BT tomorrow, sounds like everything is on track.
    Numa: how are you going??
Poppihome: and huge congrats, i had acupuncture too this cycle there is definately something in it im sure!
TL: yeeeehaaaaaa 12 weeks that is so great, bet you are just cant wait till friday to see little Pheonix again
Bee: the tiredness is yuk espicially when you cant tell anyone why you feel so s##t. Hope you start to pick up soon and big congrats
Devon: how was your appointment today?? Just laughing to myself as i read your other "bra" thread. Ive just been to the bra bar today and bought exactly the same bras as you? They are so cute arent they, so much better than the other fitter she was horrified when i told her what happened at BNT!
I just had my ob app today too and it was great i got to see little Ava again and it looks like she will be joining us on the 13th Jan 2009, Ob really not happy for me to go natural, so it looks like it will be a CS, have been doing my research as well and things are definately stacked against a VB (as much as i would love one!). It feels so real today and i can truly say for the first time i feel relaxed and almost elated about the whole thing (its only taken 22 weeks )

    Hello All,

    I'm back from the scan.

HB of 146/minute - smack bang in the middle of the range (120 - 180).

The sonographer was great - she did 3 pics for us.

One pic makes it look like a squid, so we have a new nickname.

V.happy and a bit relaxed - will try and hold onto that feeling as long as possible.

    Hi girls!

Wow, it certainly is getting busy in here - excellent stuff!

Welcome to the new pg ladies and congratulations!! Wishing you all healthy and happy pregnancies.

Nixon - glad to hear your scan went so well, it's such a relief to see that heart beating away. I hope that you can feel reassured for quite a while now. When's your next scan?

Scooby - heh heh - that's so funny that we ended up getting the exact same bras from the same shop! I really like them, they're very pretty and quite comfortable. Hope you enjoy yours! Glad to hear your appointment went so well, and very exciting that you know when Ava will be born! It's a shame that you probably can't go for a VB, but hopefully knowing now that it'll be a CS will give you plenty of time to adjust. So good to hear you're feeling relaxed - I know how you feel - it's been a long time coming.

My appointment went very well, baby is looking great, measuring a tiny bit ahead of dates by OB says still completely within normal range. We got a gorgeous 3D photo of his face - he's starting to look really cute, and more like a real baby - very exciting! Felt a bit rushed with the OB, but I guess seeing as there's nothing wrong there's not much to talk about. Glucose challenge test in 4 weeks. Oh, and I've put on 8kg since I was first weighed at 8 wks - oh dear!! Never mind, I don't feel too fat, just healthy and pg!

I hope everyone else is well.

Nixon - great news! hang on to that relaxed feeling, am so pleased the scan went well

Devon- glad you are feeling well and healthy and the pics sound great and v cute! happy your little one is also doing really well

scooby- sorry you cant go a VB but am pleased to hear things are progressing well for you and how lovely to feel relaxed and happy

afm- just had a BT to monitor HCG levels etc...it's now one week since our BFP! So I think I will feel a lot more relaxed if today's results come back strong. I am a bit nervous to be honest. Results will be in after lunch. My HCG levels were so all over the place when I had the ectopic pregnancy it would be nice to see them rise normally and steadily.

Thanks Nixon...I'm having an 8 week scan (sadly the ultrasound rooms were closed the week before, so I will be 8 weeks and 2 days ... I was hoping to go earlier than 8 weeks but that wasnt available...nevertheless my SIVF nurse recommended the 8 week scan...)... that will be Oct 14th...so not tooo long to wait..a few weeks to go. Looking forward to that, just to have more reassurance and make it seem more real.

tiggerlinda- thanks...as you know it's hard not to worry at this early stage so every bit of reassurance is very welcome.
