Hi Lovelies,
Humphrey - It's good to see you back and I'm glad you had a nice break. Hope DS will settle into daycare a bit more as time goes by. He sounds like a little sweetie.
Shell - congrats on finishing work! It's about time you could put your poor feet up or at least give them a nice long soaking in something fragrant. Well done! Now it's time to nest until the little one decides to arrive ...
Anna - the carpal tunnel sounds painful. I had read something about it going away after pg (as the other girls have mentioned) so I hope that is the case for you. Hope you can get some relief for it in the meantime.
Trish - You're making those milestones pretty quickly now. It won't be long till the boys are here! In answer to your question, yes, I'm accepting labour vibes (I also take Visa and Mastercard). I set up the satellite dish last weekend but all I could get was Swedish porn. Crikey!
Thanks Carrie, Skye and Shell for your tips with the mobiles and where to find them. Skye, would love to look at a pic so feel free to email me and we can chat about it more if you like.
Okay, time to have a shower and go fruit shopping. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Hi girls
Good to see everyone is travelling along well in here, Melbo, Shell and Sush not long now ladies... no doubt you guys are getting excited but also a bit hesitant???
Glad things are well with you too, Trish.... I hope the boys are being nice in your tummy and not giving you to much greif under the ribs and on the bladder....
Hope you guys are still keeping that seat warm, hoping to maybe be in here by Christmas!!! With a few of you moving out soon, i think those that are left will need the company!!!
love and hugs
leis xx

Yaye Trish on reaching the 5 month mark! WooHoo!! It has just flown by...
Carrie - great to see you back and Kyla is absolutely gorgeous. So pleased to hear you are both doing so well.
Sush - hee hee hee..... waddling.... hee hee
Mel - cant believe you will have the little man in your arms so very soon! The pics of his bed and your big belly are great BTW. Sending some super labour vibes your way > > >
Shell - thats great that you have now finished with work for a while... let the nesting begin!
Im on CD 1 of a FET again, so hoping to join those left behind very soon...
-
Thought I'd pop in to let you know that I've seen Sushee do her waddle, and that is definately what it is, lol.
Lovely tum too.
But we know it's all worth it!
Take care.
-
Hi Girls and a special hello to Keen and Tam =)
This is just a quickie by necessity. Don't be concerned if you don't see me post for a few days or maybe more. Hayseed will definitely let you know what's going on with me. The thing is, our computer is on the fritz. DH tried to upgrade some components and it all went horribly wrong. Sometimes, the computer will allow us to use it in Safe mode but sometimes not. He's reading and re-reading his manuals and trying to fix it so I hope he manages to do that in the next few days.
Take care girls.
Mel
-
Tam,
But you were so nice about my waddle at the time! Lol! But at least you can confirm for the girls here that the butterflie-d belly is really me!
Keen, how exciting that you're started your FET cycle. AF seems to have taken forever for you. I am expecting you, Leis, Tam et all to come over very shortly, as Mel, Shell and I don't have very long to go now. Plus Shazz isn't far behind us either!
Shell, you are a trooper with work. I have very much settled into being at home now. Can't imagine having gone on for as long as you have.
Trish, OMG 15 weeks. that went so fast! I too saw Kelly W's belly pic in the April Belly Buddies thread, absolutely amazing! It'll be you soon!
Justine, sounds like you need a rest from your holiday! Lol! As for the two embies on ice, well you know I'm going back for the one I have left. I can't imagine being a mum of five either, but if it happens, we will be so blessed! The rest will have to take care of itself!
As for mobiles, I got a Tiny Love Symphony in Motion, which was $99 on sale, but now I'm thinking I should have gotten one that matched with my decor too. Though I seriously doubt bub would notice that stuff didn't match!
Last bit of news, I was getting BHs from 4pm yesterday afternoon to 4am this morning, 10 mins apart and increasing in intensity. I slept in between, but they were strong enough to wake me from sleep when they occurred. Finally at 4am, they eased and then completely stopped. If this pg is anything like Zaki's, this pattern will continue for a couple of weeks before becoming full blown labour, so I suspect maybe my days are numbered.
But in the meantime, will start a watch for Shell too!
:cheer: Only 9 days until we meet Mel's little William! :cheer:
:confetti: Only 16 days until we meet Shell's little Holly! :confetti:
OMG Mel, just realised you're in single digits now!
love
sushee
-
i'm thinking we should start your watch to sush
\:D/ 21 days until meet sushee's little un' \:D/
-
Maybe less than 21 days ;)
-
Shazz - I agree
But maybe less than 21 days ;) by the sounds of it
It is so exciting \:D/
-
OMG the nuchal scan went fantastic! Apart from being there for 1.5 hours and having to drink oodles of juice to get baby rolling over for measurements lol
We are so in love it was great! Nice strong heartbeat, we saw the stomach and bladder. Has all ten fingers and toes, arms and legs. Got some great shots and 3 take home piccies. Theyre on our website if anyone is interested in a peek. We THINK we saw gender bits, didnt look like a vagina to me..............right at the apex between the legs *cough* prominant sausage and meatballs *cough*
Baby is perfect in every way, no downs or genetic abnormalities.
Im measuring 13w1d which puts my EDD at 1st Oct now! I knew I was further along.
Gotta run to work.
\:D/ Im so so so so happy and in love :smt055
-
Anna,
congratulations on a fantastic scan! My sonographer made very sure he didn't go anywhere near bub's bits, so he's as much in the dark as we are as to bub's flavour! Glad to see you had a sneak peek! What a pleasant surprise!
Shazz, thanks for the countdown!
love
sushee

congratulations Anna \:D/
:-k where is website look so I can take a peek
-
Hi everyone!
Wow, it's getting pretty close til a few of you meet your little ones. Yep, and a good time to start labour watch for sush.
ANNA- I'm glad that the scan went to well. Lol at the sausage and meatballs!
KEEN- Hi there, it feels like so long since we've spoken! Extra, extra goodluck for the FET sweetie.
Hi to Skye, Mel, Trish, Shazz and all others. Hope your weekends were good.
Kyla, DH and I had a great time in Rosebud. The timeshare had an indoor pool, so we got to have a few swims with Kyla. Her first swim she was a bit wary of, but relaxed the second day and started to splash around a bit.

-
Hi Ladies,
Just a quickie to report absolutely no action on this front. The computer is still on the critical list but we have hope of recovery.
Anna - wonderful news on your scan! I will check out the site. Yes, there's no mistaking the old frankfurter and beans is there?
Keen - all the best for your upcoming FET my sweet.
Sushee - Good idea to start your countdown now I think ... just in case!
I have an ob appointment today and the next one is actually on my due date. I hope something happens soon. Why am I so eager to feel pain? This is so unlike me.
Hope everyone here has a lovely day and I'm sorry for both the brevity and lack of personals.
Love,
Mel

20 days until meet sushee's little un'

LV mel not long now finish line is in sight \:D/
-
Come on Mel! You're up next and we just cant wait!! Yaye!!! :bellyrub:
Lots of LV your way...
-
:cheer: Only 8 days until we meet Mel's little William :cheer:
:confetti: Only 15 days until we meet Shell's little Holly :confetti:
Morning all!
and what a lovely day it is too!
okay it must be me, coz I can't tell head from frank and beans in the u/s pics, guys. I just don't know how to look at those things! Which only goes to show that had my sonographer gone near this little'un's bits, I probably still wouldn't have been able to pick anything up! Lol!
More BHs last night, and some again this morning, but have eased now. I am still in a bit of disbelief that I'm about 20 days away from actually having this baby, it doesn't seem real. So in the meantime if all our LVs go to Mel, I'll be safe for a few more weeks, I hope.
Going into the city for a long leisurely lunch with DH this arvo. It's to be our last hurrah. It was supposed to be dinner this weekend, but with the evening BHs, we thought maybe sooner rather than later, and lunch rather than dinner.
Mel, hope your puter plugs away for a few more weeks at least. To everyone else, hope you're well and looking after yourselves!
love
sushee

BIG LVs to you Mel!!! :contract: :contract: :contract:
It's very exciting!
Not long Shell, Sushee and Shazz!!! WOOHOO \:D/ :confetti: :cheer:
Going away girls for all of next week, so I'll probably miss all the action. Wishing all of you the very best for next week, be it a beautiful birth, enjoying the last few days of being pregnant with your miracles or travelling along in your pregnancy journey.
There are a couple more photos on Ivy and Noah's site if anyone wants a squiz. Smiling at last.
-
Congrats Anna on your scan.
Skye - how was your scan.
Wow ladies, Mel, Shell and Sushee - so close together. How exciting to be meeting your babies soooo soon. Great easy labour vibes are being sent your way from me.
Trish - how are you?
Afternoon ladies.
I'm already wearing maternity wear!!!! I think I have felt some flutters. Also experiencing some ab tightening, uterus stretching. Second trimester here I come!!!
Just a couple of questions:
1. what pregnancy vitamines are you taking, and
2. wanna start guessing the genders of the newbies?
(I think I'm having a boy - but will be finding out on the 9/5/2006)
-
Jusine, wow that's lucky, awesome surprise. Glad u had a good break.
Leis, Keen & Tam, hope u can join us VERY soon, plenty of room in here. :-)
Anna, that's fantastic results too. Wow, look at ur nursery already, ur very organised. :-)
Oh & forgot to mention, an ice pack is a best friend for carpal tunnel. :-)
Sush, it's gonna be a close call between u & Mel. I'll prob go overdue if anything. :-)
Thnx heaps for the countdown, however u have me down as 2 days closer than I am, but I'd love to go early though. :-)
Thnx for Sushee's countdown Trish.
LV Mel, wow, only 1 more wk for u tomorrow.
What lovely smiles Tiff.
-
Tiff ~ Ivy and Noah are absolutely just gorgeous \:D/ i got a warm fuzzy looking at them and what a beautiful family photo of you all
-
Hi there everyone
Tiff, what beautiful little smiles! It's great each time they do something new isn't it? Enjoy your week away.
-
Oh shell,
my only excuse is placenta brain. I mean, you're 3 days ahead of me, which is something I've always known, so my maths was cr*p to begin with! Lol!
Tiff, the twins just look like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. I got all teary looking at them, now how's that for pg hormones!
Sheree, I reckon a boy too, but seeing how I have absolutely no idea what I'm having, it's a guess at best. I reckon Anna's is a boy (frank and beans) and skye's is a girl!
love
sushee

Hey Sushee - have you seen that advert on TV where the mum is standing in front of the window with her baby who looks at her adoringly and touches her face. And the song goes "It must be love, love love"?This makes me nearly burst into tears and I'm not even pregnant! :smt022
-
LOL Carrie,
I hate to admit I puddle up at that ad every time! Mind you, when I was TTCing, that very same ad made me homicidal! Every baby ad made me feel like strangling someone, for that matter! So it must be the hormones!

sushee

Hi Lovelies,
Can't sleep so I'm surfing the net (as you do). DH has resurrected the computer and so far all is well so normal service has been resumed from this end. Thank you for the labour vibes ... that satellite dish is a great investment.
Tiff - I hope you have a very restful week's break with the family. The babies photos are beautiful too. Thinking of you while you are away.
Sush - It must have been the phrasing in my post but I didn't see the frank and beans in Anna's u/s either ... it was a very modest pic! I was remembering what it was like when I saw Willmartin's for the first time ... God, I almost needed a sedative. Didn't see his till 19 weeks though.
Hehe, Sush and Carrie with the ads - I was only thinking the other day that Lisa McCune's Coles ad with the mother's group makes me want to strangle someone. Probably her.
Shell and Anna - funny you should mention the carpal tunnel. I've only developed it this week! I feel very lucky. Anna, I hope yours improves very soon.
Sheree - Yeah, I was into the maternity wear pretty early too but now none of it fits! Great to see you sailing into second trimester ... hope it is enjoyable for you. Re vitamins ... I had Elevit for the first four or five months, then Blackmores Pg and BF, now I'm on Cenovis Pg and BF for a wee while. Only other additions have been one Evening Primrose a day, magnesium in the last three months for cramps and now Fefol for iron so I haven't done too badly. BTW I think you're having a boy too. Will you be telling us when you find out the gender or are you keeping it quiet? =)
Anna = girl
Skye = girl
(That's my bets anyway)
Well the appointment was very quick - WM still head down and engaged. Peter (the obstetrician) offered to do an internal if I wanted. I declined but said I might reconsider next week depending on how things go. He too seemed to think that it won't be much longer. He paid me a compliment ... said I was the most relaxed first time mother he'd met for a while. I told him I'd expended so much nervous energy trying to get pregnant that maybe I just couldn't do the stress thing any more!
Hope you all have a lovely day girls. Might go and grab some more kip now.
Cheers,
Mel
-
Sheree, ok, my guess is boy for u & Anna & girl for Skye too.
Vitamins: still takin 2 Blackmores Preg/BF Formula (1xmorn+night), I stopped takin folate mid 2nd tri.
Mel, yay on 1 more wk & obgyn thinkin chance u may go early.
-
My guess:
Me- Boy
Anna- Boy
Skye- Girl
-
:cheer: Only 6 days until we meet Mel's little William! :cheer:
:confetti: Only 15 days until we meet Shell's little Holly! :confetti:
Mel,
yeah I'm not fond of the Lisa McCune Coles ad either. I'm not sure why the chick has change table right smack in the middle of her lounge room? Or is it just me being niggly? Lol!
Well, a few BHs for me last night, then nothing at all since. I am actually feeling really good today, like I could stay pg for a few more months yet!
Ob appt tomorrow. If it's anything like the others, he'll have a feel, check my bp and I'll be outta there in 10 mins. Just the way I like it!
love
sushee

OMGoodness I can't believe how close some of you lucky ladies are getting! It is so exciting to think that you will soon have your bundles in your arms :cheer:
Mel~I am working on a photo for you I promise. Have told hubby he needs to dig the baby gear out of storage! I am thinking after Sushee's post it is the Tiny Love Symphony one. Has a remote so you can turn on & off without going into the room. Can you believe your :boy: will be here soon!!!
Sush~I think you are oh so close! I hope you are keeping well & getting heaps of rest. Those BH's seem really regular, glad bub didn't decide to interupt your lunch with DH.
Trish~how are you & the boys going today? Your ticker seems to be flying by so fast. I know it will be kept quiet till they arrive but have you got any names you like yet? I have been thinking up 9 letter boy names & have a bit of a list here. I wonder if their names are on it!
Carrie~I am another sucker for that J&J ad  seems weird but the babys' skin looks so soft like you can almost feel it ykwim?
Shell~how are you feeling? This TWW is worse than when TTC I think. I love the name you have chosen so pretty & feminine. I ran Holly past my DH last night he said 'put it on your list'
Tiff~Ivy & Noah are just so precious! Those coy, cheeky smiles are priceless what a gorgeous family you all make!
Sheree~Hey pg buddy, how are you? My scan went really well, all clear on the NT & bub has seemed to slow down on the growth spurt ;) I will be joining you on the maternity wear shortly I think.
Shazz~we will be starting a count down for you soon as well! Can't believe how many people are due within a month of one another. Less than a month soon \:D/
Aww everyone thinks I am having a :girl: I would so love a sister for Bailea (can't believe I just said her name I am a name-a-phobe online  )A little :boy: would be so so loved I would just have no idea on what to do with his bits
These are my guesses......
Me~:girl:
Sheree~:boy:
Anna~:boy:
Have a great night everyone!
-
18 days until meet sushee's little un'
-
I finally got onto the computer just now. I thought that I had better do some cleaning today, so banned myself until I had done what needed to me done (I also had Mum's group - cleaning didn't take that long)
Mel - Any day now! It's probably good that you didn't get the internal, that is unless you wanted to see William soon. The internal can push things along a bit I think. How are you feeling about the impending labour?
Sush- IKWYM with Lisa McCune!
Hope that the appointment goes well tomorrow. It will be interesting to see where you're bubs is at!
Skye- Glad your NT test was good! Are you finding out the sex?
Hi to everyone else.
-
I think:
Me - :boy:
Skye - :boy:
Sheree - :girl:
Cant wait to see who's right and who's wrong.
-
Morning Ladies,
hope you are all well, i'm going to have a me day today and lay in bed all day it is raining here i love the sound of rain on the neighbours roof ( we have tiles on ours they have tin ) ;) so may be back later if the rain stops
-
17 days until meet sushee's little un'
-
Hi Girls -
Carrie - yeah I was a bit reluctant for the internal for that reason. I know he was only going to have a look but I'm not quite ready for that I don't think. I'm still in the mode of thinking that things will sort themselves out when they're ready so I'm sticking with that. I had to do some cleaning yesterday too but I slept most of the day and ended up doing it at night!
Skye - no rush pet with the photo of the mobile. I don't want you running around too much on my account! Whenever you manage is fine by me =)
Sush - hope the ob appointment goes well today and that everything is on track.
People from work keep ringing me to ask if anything has happened yet. It isn't even my due date! The hospital is just down the street and visible from the office so I've told them I will raise the flag and puff some smoke (like the Vatican) when it's all done. ;)
Going for a massage this morning. My shoulders are very tight so I want to loosen up a bit before some other part of my anatomy gets cracking. Was going to do the grocery shopping but might leave that till tomorrow.
Hope you ladies have a lovely day. Shazz ... enjoy the rain. Looks like we might get some here today too! Did I mention to you that I was born in Toowoomba (St Vincents)? Also lived there for a while when I was studying. Are you having bub in Toowoomba?
Talk to you all later.
Love,
Mel
-
Mel ~ argh a massage sounds lovely i hope you enjoy every second of it and yep i'm having bub at toowoomba base though my other 2 were born there but the IVF doc i saw came out of st vinnies all of my nieces and nephews were born at st vinnies it is a nice hospital heres a couple of LV LV LV for you to get you rolling ;)
