LondonMiss - you'd better hurry up if you want to see that exhibition, it closes on Sunday! Well worth it the visit, I highly recommend it if you can squeeze in a visit And 9.5 weeks off before bubs is due sounds divine! I'm so counting down my days at work, it's now down to under 20!!!

Kyra - thanks, that certainly helps to put things into perspective, and I knew exactly what you were talking about so don't worry about not making sense! Glad you're feeling a bit better, not much longer and you'll be so busy you won't have time to think xx

Hope everyone is well - i'm at home yet again with another sinus infection. I think this one is the same as last time and it just didn't go away properly, so started antibiotics yesterday. Last time I took these ones they gave me (sorry for TMI!!) dreadful diarrhea, so hoping that doesn't happen again... Unfortunately, there's nothing much else she can give me so this might be it.

Hey Kyrawolfe and ladies.. Unfortunately not quiet due to any wonderful news that Lil Kracker is here just super frustrated and tired.. I never thought that I would get over being PG because i wanted it so long but here I am pleading with my unborn son to "Be nice to Mummy and get out" I don't think he's listening so he's going to take after his Dad lol... I've been pacing the house between 3am and 4am the last couple of mornings because my body is so sore and achey that I need a break from lying down and then I'm so tired that I go back to bed in the middle of the day... I am now impatient to meet this little guy but it seems like i'm going to be PG forever and after all the pre pains it makes me wonder if he will ever come out and if my body is broken.. Sorry for the rant but I nearly cry out through the night in discomfort and frustration that I can't roll over with out pain.. Well i'm off to bed for a nap but I promise I will let you know when things get going.. If they get going that is..lol..

Lilmiss~ I really feel for you.Its very frustrating when you get to that point. When i had Connor 13 yrs ago,i still remember the absolute frustration towards the end.Connor was 13 days overdue and wasnt even engaged.I was crying all the time and in a lot of discomfort,so i know how you are feeling.Regarding being uncomfortable at night..im that way too and im only 24 weeks and have been suffering with extremely painful legs and hips for over 2 months now.Like you,im awake walking around, through the night trying to ease discomfort. Please just take comfort in knowing that your little man WILL come out in no time.Drs dont let bubs go overdue for long these days.Just plead your frustration with your ob/gyn. I am sending labour vibes your way.xx
P.s....TYPICAL MALE!! hehehe.Stubborn as mules!Bring on the castor oil!!

Hey Lilmiss. Gosh I feel for you - when you are ready to go... I think you just want to get off one of my lists and onto the other! maybe that will get me to sort out the colours.... eviction notices from me to your little one. Hope he/ she turns up soon. Take it you've tried all the old wives tales? I have just eaten the most ENORMOUS curry with the girls at work. I think I may well have to have a kip under my desk...

I think I also win this weeks Pregnancy Isn't Sexy Award. Had pelvic pain all week and mentioned it to my midwife yesterday, she said try a wheat pack or something. DH came in from a really stressful day at work to find me in a Granny nightie, watching Biggest Loser, nightie up round waist, belly hanging out front back and sides with a heat pack on what might politely be referred to as my pubic bone... and I wonder why he didn't leap on me and ravish me...

lilmiss - I can only imagine how time drags when you're so close and feeling so uncomfortable. We're all sending labour vibes your way xx

londonmiss - that did make me chuckle! I've been trying to get DH to DTD but he seems strangely reluctant. Could it be proportionally related to how attractive I must look and sound at the moment?! I seem to have turned into a tennis player with the amount of grunting I do every time I have to get off the couch, bend over, roll over...

    Hi Ladies,

Thank you for your kind words. I'm doing okay though! I managed to compose myself before calling my friend and congratulating her - genuinely, and we caught up for lunch a few days later. Feeling sad and frustrated about how long it took us to fall pregnant doesn't change the fact that I am very happy for her and her DH - and she was very understanding as to why it might be hard news for me to hear too. LTTTC seems to stay with us for such a long time, I figure it's now a part of me and there's not much I can do about that, other than acknowledge it and sit with it for awhile.

LilMiss, sorry to hear you're still waiting! My Doula told me that pre-labour can last for several weeks...but it's all good practice for the main event yeah? Thinking of you, sending you lots of labourvibes.

to everyone! Aristotle is going mad in the belly and I can't get comfy, so am going for a walk.
