I knew I had to be careful around my DH's daughter (from 1st marriage) who was sick, as I am on steroids, too, which suppress my body's immune system so as to not reject the babies as foreign beings. Being just shy of 9 weeks, though, do you think the placenta has kicked in enough to protect them yet?
