brunette - my girlfriend had twins and was told that one of her babies would probably be downs (don't know no.s) and they were both born fine, so if your doc says it's good, go with that xx

maggiepie - hope you felt better later on yesterday after your sugar low. watch that compost!! I haven't done any gardening...and it's showing, so we've roped mum & dad to come and help next week as I feel bad DH is going to to have to do the majority - pruning, whipper snippering etc. We have 2 lots of overseas visitor in Oct/Nov so want to get it ready.

worrywort - how wonderful for your DH he must've been grinning forever after that event!!

afme - had the nuchal scan yesterday at a dedicated x-ray/ultrasound place and was very impressed. Firstly I didn't have to wait like I did last year ( I pee often when I'm not pregnant....I get tense and terse with the full bladder thing!! hate it), the sonographer was lovely (again not like place last year, who barely said anything - except there was no heartbeat) and we were in there for about 40 minutes.

Part reason for that was bub wasn't playing ball ie lying in the right position for the measurement of the nuchal. It was flipping over, lying on its' side, squirming, but eventually she got a few measurements. She was very thorough and explained everything. We heard the heartbeat 162/min which was lovely (first time) saw 2 halves of the brain, the nasal bone, a very clear hand with thumb and 4 fingers, the stomach, umbilical cord, feet, legs, arms etc. Results are today. We are feeling good about it not too stressy, which has been our natural outlook on the whole pregnancy (not like us normally I might add! :-) ) Will post when I know.

Been having some very strange dreams....but in all of them I am pregnant. Last night though I dreamt that DH told me it was over, and I was sooooo upset and crying and it was horrible. I woke up and told him, he reassured me, then I fell back into a different scene but same dream! Awful. Very vivid.

Anyhoo, gonna go take the dog for a walk then later I am off to see the kids film Despicable Me with my 9 and 10 yr old neighbours. Hope you all have a good day xxx
