Feel like it's been ages since I've had the time to pop on, my new job is just non-stop unfortunately so no chance to jump on at work.
Worrywort & Airline - congratulations and welcome to you both. Worrywort, I take the Blackmores Preg/Breastfeeding Gold, took it religously in the first trimester and now only take it when I remember (damn pregnancy brain!).
Jaki - sounds like you're going to find out the sex at your morph scan around 19 weeks?
Brunette - I'm really glad that double trouble are progressing nicely, and I'm sure the placenta will have plenty of time to make it's way to it's proper home. How long crown to rump were your twins measuring? Oh, DH and I have only just in the last few weeks gone back to DTD, we were both so freaked out by the (minimal compared to you) spotting in the early stages. Hey how are you going with the baby shopping, have you starting putting together everything you'll need (x2!)?
Paula - best of luck for your delivery when the time comes, hopefully you won't do a LondonMiss and keep cooking it.
Re starting maternity leave, at this stage I am due to finish up about 3 weeks before EDD but who knows!! I'm stunned that I'm up in the top half of the due date list, crazy!!
AFM: Off to Townsville at the end of this week for my neice's wedding, it's a super quick trip but it'll be good to head to the sun. Bugger that snow MaggiePie, I'll take the sun any day. It was a bloody nightmare finding a dress to wear to the wedding, to accommodate the belly. So I'm in my 20th week now, and have had two nose bleeds which are apparently a pregnancy related thing, but luckily no heartburn so I can still load up on the chilli and tomatoes YUM!
OBs appt tomorrow arvo, being that I got my morph scan a week and half ago at a different place I'm assuming he'll go over it with me? I also got blood tests about a month ago which he didn't discuss at my last appt so maybe he will at this appt? I'm assuming my iron is okay being that he didn't suggest a supplement, even though I've gone off red meat completely and am not big on my leafy greens. Seriously I just feel like if I don't specifically ask him something he's not going to offer any info up. If you google his name, someone has called him the 40 second doctor. great.
Okay, I'm off to put another load of washing in.
Belly rubs to all. and sticky vibes to Airline and Worrywort.
Glenny, it's bloody awkward to have to put in mat leave 10 weeks before, but I'm guessing if you get signed off by a doc then they have to accept it. ?? I'm not a teacher but it's so nice to hear you and others saying how much the kids mean to you and that you don't want to leave them in the lurch, but as someone else said, you and your family are no.1 priority now and that's not a selfish thing. I don't have issue sleeping yet, way to early, but when I've had a bad back (in the small of it) I always slept with a normal sized pillow between knees and just fought with the doona every time to turn over with it intact...lucky for me DH sleeps like a log. It definately works though, so hopefully will work for you.
juniper...sounds silly I know, but DH and I were so concentrating on being positive on transfer day that we both forgot to ask which embies they put in the 3 or 5 day
renee - you made me smile with the dinner story... that's the sort of thing I do normally!
well i'm gonna start a ticker...an ivf-infertility website's calender says FET - use first day of LMP OR date of O. I don't know when I Od so...LMP it is. gonna go choose one now....this may take some time:-)
