Airline, you are cracking me up with your purple! I myself seem to only own stretchy things with horizontal stripes, so .. I guess I look kind of like a beach ball ... or I will soon ... And glad to hear MS waning ... As for movement, my friend didn't feel anything til 24 weeks (healthy babies both times) and I didn't really feel anything for sure til .. 19 weeks? Even now, the baby stops for a day or so and then I freak, and then eventually a get a double-punch or kick to reassure me.

Lairdoz, sorry to hear about these continual stresses. Don't feel like your stress will affect the baby though. I have done a bit of research on that and I think baby's at risk only when mum's living in situations of extreme trauma (like living with violence or war). Anyway, I know it's still bl**dy crap to have stress, and I too worry about this effect on my baby in the womb. Hoping that this eases up soon.

Brunette, congrats on 30 weeks!

Juniper, hats off to you for restricting refined sugars. This has been my New Year's resolution for about 10 years. I yo-yo on it. With self-pride, I relinquished 2 home baked cupcakes to my DH's parents yesterday. I fantasised about them all night. The cupcakes, that is...

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Anyone in Melbourne (?), well, it's your typical stay at home and watch a movie weekend, which is great (ie rain again). Though we're going to an active birth class. Should be ... strange?

Take care all,
WW
